St Mary's Kindergarten provides a beautiful, purpose-built setting in the nine-acre grounds of St Mary's Lower School, just ten minutes from the centre of Colchester and supports boys and girls aged three to four-years.

Children are supported to focus on developing early reading and number skills and can take part in a range of activities including: dance, drama, music, art and Forest School, all of which are aimed at increasing their confidence and encouraging good manners and social skills.

During its 2014 inspection, the Independent Schools Inspectorate considered the nursery school to be Good in most areas and Excellent in some.

In all, St Mary's Kindergarten gives children a real advantage for the Reception year, and a flying-start to school life.
