A beautiful spacious nursery in Chiswick.

Chiswick Day Nursery and Preschool is set within its own self-contained building, with access to acres of green fields for sports and outdoor activities. Every aspect has been carefully designed to support your child’s development from the age of 3 months to 5 years and located off Great Chertsey Road, less than 15 minutes’ walk from Chiswick Station with an on-site car park.

The well-qualified team of highly motivated and experienced staff work together to provide a well-balanced programme of fun activities and learning experiences, within a carefully planned curriculum.

With large windows the nursery is light and spacious, providing children with a warm and welcoming learning environment. The nursery has an ‘enrichment’ room for children to enjoy arts and crafts, music and movement, science activities, cooking and so much more. We participated in sports day. It is so great of the staff to put this together on a Saturday because it makes it easier for working parents to join in. Something my daughter loves!

I have visited so many nurseries before choosing the one. Very friendly and warm atmosphere. Genuine and professional staff that you clearly can see they care about your needs, although I have phone calls from places that put my little one's name on their waiting list, before I email enrolled him in
Active Learning Chiswick, but I do not want to move him anywhere else now!. My little one loves it as well and we leave the home with a big smile every morning. I wish the best for every single person of staff as I believe they are making a big difference in the community with offering an excellent service.

My daughter has been attending Active Learning Chiswick for a year now and is very happy at the nursery. I leave her in very safe hands and am satisfied that the environment, staff and activities are all of a very good standard and meet her needs. She has a very close bond with various staff members
and is excited to be dropped off in a morning. She has moved up from the Baby Room to Toddler room 1 and continues to develop in the environment. I would happily recommend the nursery to friends.

I have been to at least 6 nurseries trying to decide which is right. Havingcome here and met the ManagerI instantly knew this place was right for us. Al the staff were friendly, engaging and concerned. The space ad size is amazing. Very clean and filled with things to do for kids. Only negative was
not having an afternoon snack for children and its very expensive in comparison to other places.

This nursery is a real find. For all the hustle and bustle of Chiswick, this nursery has a nice villagey feel. The location and facilities are excellent, big windows overlooking sports fields. The children get to enjoy the outdoor space with lots of fresh air and with a dedicated sports teacher, they
are very active.
The care and nurturing is excellent. Lovely friendly faces every day. With dedicated music, art and nursery teachers the children get lots of fun activities to entertain and challenge them each day. Thanks to the nursery, my eldest who has just started school was well ahead in terms of phonics development when he started.

I like the area and nursery surroundings, peaceful and quiet place! Nursery staff are really good and helpful. It seems like the manager is missing most of the time. He is covering in another nursery, which I find a bit odd.

We newly relocated to Kew and were keen to find a local nursery with excellent all round care, including a strong broad range of educational activities. We have totally found it at Active Learning, Chiswick with the bonus of warm, welcoming and genuinely caring staff.
They have made everything so easy
as my 2 children have settled incredibly easily and very happily. Thank you to all the lovely Active Learning team.

My daughter has only been here for 2 months but I have been very impressed with the staff and care she receives. The baby room always seems calm and the babies happy. The staff are very quick to pick up on anything not quite right with my daughter and I always get a full debrief at the end of the day.
The
staff seem to genuinely like caring for the babies and are so friendly and engaging with the babies. Overall, the nursery is a great environment for my baby.

I have had two children at the nursery since autumn 2015 and between them, they've been through all the rooms from Babies to Preschool. We are extremely happy with the nursery.


The staff are dedicated and keen and provide a really broad range of expertise (sport, music, art, languages). Most importantly

of all, they provide a caring and cheery environment and both children love going there. One thing I really like is that occasionally the carers swap between rooms (and the management team are hands-on too) which means there's a real sense of community - much more so than other nurseries I've known.


The building is spacious, bright and airy, and the different rooms are very well designed for the different age groups. The outdoor space is great, with an enclosed garden and access to the huge sports fields. Access is really easy too, with a buggy park and a car park for drop off and pick up.

Having 3 children, we've certainly been to a few nurseries. I have to say that by far Active Learning in Chiswick has superseded all the others. Great team, that stay!!! Management is very hands on and I love how they really know all the children and their development. The days are varied and activities
are very educational. Lovely food too and my son is just so happy there. 5 stars from me!!!

I have been an Active Learning parent since November 2013 and my children have progressed through the different rooms on the Chiswick site. I have always found the set-up very warm and welcoming. The staff are very caring towards all the children and are happy to support any special circumstances
that need to be considered. The outdoor space and opportunities to use the next door sports fields are fantastic. Overall the children are very happy there and I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to any prospective parents.

Our 1-year-old daughter has been at the nursery for a month and it has been a very good experience so far. The staff are very friendly caring and knowledgeable. The nursery is very light and has a nice atmosphere. We get daily updates on our daughter's progress. It would be nice if our daughter has
the same key person every day but this doesn't seem possible. However, we are overall happy and impressed.

Hello, my name is Judi Crawford and I am the Deputy Manager at Bright Horizons Chiswick Day Nursery and Pre-school. I started my journey in Asquith Windsor Nursery in 2019, as a Bank Support Staff and have progressed my career with Bright Horizons. Over this time, I have gained experience in different positions throughout Bright Horizons, including Nanny roles, Nursery Nurse, Room Leader, Third in Charge and now Deputy Manager.


During this time, I have gained my Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Level 2 in Team Leading and Management.


I enjoy supporting the team to ensure we are providing exceptional care and learning for each individual child, to allow them different opportunities to grow.
