A beautiful spacious nursery in Chiswick.

Chiswick Day Nursery and Preschool is set within its own self-contained building, with access to acres of green fields for sports and outdoor activities. Every aspect has been carefully designed to support your child’s development from the age of 3 months to 5 years and located off Great Chertsey Road, less than 15 minutes’ walk from Chiswick Station with an on-site car park.

The well-qualified team of highly motivated and experienced staff work together to provide a well-balanced programme of fun activities and learning experiences, within a carefully planned curriculum.

With large windows the nursery is light and spacious, providing children with a warm and welcoming learning environment. The nursery has an ‘enrichment’ room for children to enjoy arts and crafts, music and movement, science activities, cooking and so much more. There is a large secure garden with separate area for babies with free flow access from their room.

The unique Ready for School programme fosters an enjoyment of early literacy and maths, with their Growing Readers, Writers and Mathematicians Enhancements helping children to recognise letters, words and numbers in their environment.

My son has been attending Active Learning Chiswick since he was 9 months old and I have always had complete confidence and comfort knowing he is bring looked after by genuine caring, supportive and well-trained staff. The retention of staff at Active Learning has been exceptional and this forms a stable
environment for the children. My son has developed into a happy, confident kind and generally a well-behaved boy and I credit a lot of this to the fabulous staff and carers. I would not hesitate to recommend Active Learning Chiswick.

This is by far the best nursery in and around the Chiswick area. As a teacher at a local school, I hear feedback from parents about the different nurseries. After viewing a few popular ones, we thought most of them were good but felt as if we were going to have to 'settle' for the best of the lot....
till we visited this place! When we were shown round, what struck me was how settled and calm the babies and toddlers were, even those who had just woken up. The rooms were clean despite having sand areas. When our son went for his settling in days, he only cried for a few minutes during the first hour and has since absolutely loved the place. The staff genuinely love children, and this is very clear. He now runs eagerly into the nursery every morning and isn't tearful or desperate to leave when I arrive to pick him up. He adores all the staff and so do we. I am thankful that it has made going back to work so seamless for me and I know that my child is in the best care I could ask for.

Hello, my name is Michelle, I have been working in the Early Years for 21 years and in Management for 6 years. I am passionate about providing the best quality care and learning for all children. I absolutely love my role as a Nursery Manager as I have the opportunity to support and develop my staff team, maintain good partnerships with all parents and most importantly of all watch the children as they grow and develop into curious, independent learners. Hello, my name is Judi Crawford and I am the Deputy Manager at Bright Horizons Chiswick Day Nursery and Pre-school. I started my journey in Asquith Windsor Nursery in 2019, as a Bank Support Staff and have progressed my career with Bright Horizons. Over this time, I have gained experience in different positions throughout Bright Horizons, including Nanny roles, Nursery Nurse, Room Leader, Third in Charge and now Deputy Manager.


During this time, I have gained my Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Level 2 in Team Leading and Management.


I enjoy supporting the team to ensure we are providing exceptional care and learning for each individual child, to allow them different opportunities to grow.


I look forward to continuing my management journey at Bright Horizons Chiswick and watching the children flourish within our care!
