Kids Planet Knaresborough is located on Manse Lane in Knaresborough in North Yorkshire. It was the third nursery in the former Twinkles group and opened its doors in September 2012. The 92-place nursery offers full day care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.                

Kids Planet Knaresborough strives to give children the best start to life by giving them the confidence to play and learn about the world around them. The focus is on learning through play where children are nurtured and encouraged to discover their own unique personality and take part in a wide variety of activities to boost their imagination and social skills, as they experience the awe and wonder of the world.

Qualified and experienced practitioners help children to learn new skills and develop confidently towards school life. The practitioners are also encouraged to develop new skills, with some members of the team working towards an early years degree.

Parents are kept up-to-date with their child's development through online Learning Journeys and are encouraged to be partners in their children's learning as add comments to observations from nursery and share their own from home. A weekly parent newsletter, themed stay and play sessions and family events mean parents soon become part of the Twinkles family.

Kids Planet Knaresborough (formally Twinkles) were voted Harrogate Mumbler Day Nursery of the Year 2014, 2016 & 2018 and were shortlisted for the award in 2015. They have also been shortlisted for both the NMT and Nursery World Awards three times.

I have never felt more confident in leaving my child in the hands of any other establishment.
She is consistently happy at the point of drop off and collection. To be able to see what they do on a daily basis through photos is really special.
All the staff are personable and take extra time to talk
to me, and as a mother that makes you feel even more comfortable with the environment.
My daughter always remembers what she has had for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and really enjoys the home cooked meals that are on offer through a varied menu which is fantastic.
I couldn't speak more highly of Twinkles Knaresborough. My daughter has been attending for over a year and has had a recent room change. This was made smooth and efficient and she's still as happy as ever.

My grandchildren attend Twinkles and I would just like to say what wonderful care they have received. The staff are very approachable and we have had a great deal of support from the nursery.
They are always striving to keep up with the times and make it easy for you keep up with your child's progress.
I can only speak from my experiences but both my grandchildren have grown in confidence and are learning excellent social skills while enjoying creative play.

My little boy has been going to Twinkles for 2 years, he has made so many friends and loves the staff working there. He always gets a lovely greeting on a morning and asked how we are.

Outstanding Nursery!
The staff communicate really well and put your mind a rest, especially whilst my twin girls have just transitioned upstairs. You can talk to them and they make you feel at home.
My girls are always happy when I picked them up.
The equipment/toys are all very good quality.
The food is all cooked on site and always smells yummy.
Both my girls have thrived from being at Twinkles.
Highly recommend this nursery.

I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone, they have such a high quality of care, I have 2 children here. My youngest started at 3 months old and I had no fears over the quality of care he would receive. The food they serve is amazing. Freshly prepared every day and cooked in house. They are so
attentive to the children. in my personal experience, I would never send my children anywhere else and will be very sad for my children when they get to school age and have to leave.

My Granddaughter attends Twinkles Knaresborough and I cant begin to convey how impressed I am both by the setting but more importantly by the commitment of the staff.
Every time I have visited the nursery I have been met with a professional response combined with caring staff.

I have 2 children at Twinkles and have had for the past 3 years. I find the facilities and the staff excellent and would highly recommend Twinkles to anyone looking for a nursery. I am particularly pleased with the quality of the food that the children get in that it is all highly nutritious and homemade.

We currently send our 16 month old daughter to Twinkles Nursery in Knaresborough and I can honestly say that it has been one of the most fantastic experiences for her. She was quite a nervous child in new surroundings with new people when I first started back at work and she started nursery. The nursery
team helped her to settle in really quickly and she now doesn't look back when walking through the door. Just the mention of her key worker or any member of the team in her room and she beams. Her development has come on in leaps and bounds and she has grown in confidence meaning she's now enjoying so many more new experiences. The nursery ensure that every day is different, taking the children out for trips, planning new games and activities inside and out, they even have external companies who come in to run singing classes etc which the children love. We have been so pleased with Twinkles and it makes leaving our daughter to go to work bearable and sets my mind at ease.

Lovely, modern setting and great management team. Although the outdoor area is not huge, they certainly maximise the usage. Whenever we had any queries, we are always made welcome to discuss with child's key worker or with the management team.

All the staff at Twinkles are exceptionally welcoming and it's clear to see that they are all highly professional but also love their job. The overall atmosphere has helped my little girl settle in very quickly and start to flourish into the toddler she's becoming. The bond she's developed with her
key worker is lovely to see and when I drop her off on a morning I leave knowing she's being looked after reading by someone that's both capable and caring.

Excellent setting. Lovely friendly staff. Nice surroundings. My daughter loves the regular walks into Knaresborough. Support and advice always available.

My child is always happy to go to Twinkles. The days my child doesn't go she often asks to go to Twinkles. As I parent, I feel very happy and safe to leave my child at Twinkles. The key person that we are dealing with is fab, she is really helping my child with learning new skills.

I'm really happy with how my son is coming along at nursery. Every time I pick him up he wants to stay and play. He talks all the time about what he has been doing at nursery and the friends he has made. He really enjoys the activities that the nursery nurses provide. So far this month he has learned
about the Chinese new year, made, ate pancakes and had a pancake race, read the jolly postman and acted it out, played outside and made obstacles. He loves soccer tots and likes to re enact his lesson at home with me playing him and my son playing the part of the teacher! He is becoming really good at counting since moving up to shooting stars and loves to play on the big tablet. I am always made to feel welcome when I drop and pick him up. All of the employees know him by name and always say hello to him. I love the self registration and the question they answer on the light table. I feel the nursery values our opinions and is always sending us up to date information on a range of topics.
