Giant Leap Childcare and Learning Centre are Ofsted Outstanding in all areas (May 2018) and provide the best childcare all year round for nursery 0-5 years and out of school club provision and holiday care for 4-11 year olds.

All of the nursery's rooms are large, bright and spacious with additional soft play and music areas but their unique selling point is their focus on the great outdoors! The setting is set in 4 acres of private land and their magical gardens are accessible to every age group including the baby room with its own rooftop terrace. They are surrounded by trees, have their own woodland with a stream, adventure playground, outdoor classroom with campfire and all children have access to Forest School sessions as the team believe in the importance of outdoor play!

They also offer freshly home-cooked and nutritionally balanced meals daily and can cater for all allergies.

Their site together with the amazing team makes them a truly unique and magical place in a stunning location with excellent facilities where everyone is one Giant Leap family.

Parents are always welcome to visit the nursery and enjoy a tour of the setting and appreciate the excellent facilities including the onsite Forest School.

Our twins have thrived since they started their journey at Giant Leap nine months ago. We cannot fault anything at all. The staff are all absolutely wonderful and it's a pleasure to see and speak to them at pick up and drop off. You can tell they are all dedicated to providing the best care possible.
The setting is fantastic with the bonus of Forest School. I cannot recommend Giant Leap highly enough!

The staff at Giant Leap are amazing, not only with my daughter but me too. My little girl absolutely loves going to nursery and if given the option I think she would move in there, she asks me every day to go. Thank you to all the staff in her rooms and in the office, you all respond to any questions
and make her happy and reassure me, even out of office hours. Thank you.

Given the current situation with Covid, when my child started at the end of last year here he was very unsure of anyone other than me or his dad. From day one the staff in his room were amazing. As the months have passed my child is now a confident little boy who absolutely loves his days at nursery.
I drop him off in the morning and have no doubt that when I pick him up he has had a fanatic day. The meals supplied make me envious every day. The app which staff update you with everything from nappies to naps is fantastic. I cannot recommend enough.

My Son went to Giant Leap after his nursery closed down, and wish I had sent him from the start! The staff did everything they could to help him settle and become part of the Giant Leap family. He has an enormous amount of fun at nursery; being outdoors and exploring (which I believe all children should
do!). He even asks to go at the weekend and holidays! All staff in his allocated rooms ensure he is cared for, safe, loved and has fun.
Even throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, nothing was too much trouble, and they kept my boy safe and allowed us (mum and dad) to go to work knowing our son's life was kept as normal as possible, and extra safety measures were put in place to ensure the nursery was kept clean and hygienic. This is something I will be forever thankful for.
The office staff are so accommodating and tried their best to meet our needs in terms of the days/sessions required. I have nothing bad to say about this nursery. Amazing team!

The outdoor areas are brilliant and lots of outside play is encouraged, this is great for my little boy. Children can take a piece of fruit at the end of the day.

My daughter started nursery in May 2016 and has just currently left to start school. She has loved every day at nursery, and has gained confidence and learned so much within her time here. I can't thank the staff enough. I can safely say this nursery lives up to it's "outstanding".

Overall, I am content with the care my son receives. His current keyworker is very nice and we know he is in good hands whilst we have to work. The nursery is the most expensive in the area and whilst the facility is the best in terms of outside space, improvements could be made on the flexibility of
the hours and the inclusive meals. The diet is not varied, lacks in vegetables and fibre, serving pasta, bread, banana almost every day - simple changes such as brown bread or pitta, rice, instead of pasta and more variety on fruit and veg would be welcomed.

Since the review, the menu has been further updated and in more detail. Bread offered is always 50/50 and meals often have brown bread. The selection of fruit has changed for the morning snack. We research menu options before new menus are produced.
We have fruit available on reception for all children and parents.
We have two lengths of day available, in addition to morning and afternoon sessions.

Our daughter is physically disabled and we were worried about finding a nursery that would cater to her extra needs. To say they've been nothing short of incredible is a huge understatement. From the moment you walk in, to the minute you pick your child up, you know they're in safe and caring hands.
We've
experienced two rooms so far, soon to be three and both have been absolutely brilliant. The staff are wonderful and you can tell by a 3-minute conversation how much they care. They support your child's needs and encourage them to grow and learn. They also, have an app which keeps you updated with what your child is up to through the day, which makes the days when you miss your little one a little bit more, a lot easier.
Our little girl has come on so much since being at Giant Leap and would 1,000,000% recommend them to anyone.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough! The staff are professional, warm and caring. The facilities are endless and the place itself is vast and magical! It literally is like a holiday camp for babies, toddlers and preschoolers.

My son attended the holiday club this summer. Amazing. Wonderful opportunities for children of this age. Full outdoor experience, campfire cooking, den building. He said he's had the best time and can't wait to go back. Fantastic opportunity for children in this area. Friendly staff.

My son joined the nursery after attending another for 12 months. I was nervous but Giant Leap have exceeded all expectations! He came out of his shell, excelled and is now a confident, fun, loving little boy with a fantastic group of friends and great relationships with his nursery workers. So much

My child has been here since she was nine months old, she has loved it. The staff are amazing and have helped her with everything and make her feel comfortable. The nursery has an amazing forest school and has been very accommodating when situations change.
Will be sad to leave but will definitely

This nursery is fantastic. I would say the best in the area. My child has learnt so much and has always been happy at this nursery.
My oldest child attended in 2013 and it is just as good now as it was then.
I would also highly recommend the staff, they are brilliant.

A very professional nursery in every way. My child's key worker is always available to talk to and is very approachable.
My child loves being at nursery, he is a very active child and is never bored. There is so much choice in activities.
I feel this nursery is always one step ahead of other nurseries.

My son has been coming to Giant Leap for the past 4 years, he has met some friends for life and we will continue to use this service for the foreseeable future.
