The team at Daisy Day Nursery provide exceptional childcare in a home-from-home environment. They consistently deliver the flexibility and peace of mind that they know is important to busy parents.

Their purpose-built nursery in Barry opened in 2010, closely followed by their out of school and holiday care provision Camp Coconuts in 2012.

The nursery has a wonderful team of qualified and experienced nursery nurses who share a passion for childcare. They tailor daily routines to suit each child’s needs and fill these days with fun and stimulating activities that enable children to learn through play.

The team support parents throughout their child’s early years development, including milestones such as toilet training.

My eldest son started nursery in Daisy Day in 2011, he remained there until he left for full-time school. Now my other son goes to Daisy Day Nursery, he started 2015 and will leave for full-time school in September this year. Daisy Day Nursery staff are caring, enthusiastic, helpful and always there
for the children and parent. It has a home from home feeling when you are in there. I would definitely recommend Daisy Day Nursery.

What to say. Well, when my son joined in January of this year I was very reluctant to place him in nursery. I previously had a childminder for my eldest but was let down very last minute by her so had to find an urgent care provider.
To say I was pleasantly surprised by Daisy is an understatement.
I never feel uneasy about leaving him all day. He loves all of the girls, his key worker in particular and has them all wrapped around his fingers. My eldest loves to come in at the end of the day to play for 5 minutes and they are all amazing with him too.
I cannot thank you enough.

As a first-time mum, I was really overwhelmed with the fact of leaving my kid with strangers but the staff at Daisy Day Nursery - Barry is great! The teachers at Bluebells are amazing, I love how much they care about my little one and how much they care about every child. My little one has been there
for a month and can’t describe how happy I am about choosing this nursery, would recommend it 100%

It’s such a daunting task choosing who to leave your baby with whilst you go back to work when family is not an option due to geography and I must admit I was despondent after visiting my first couple. They all had routines and ways my child had to become overnight and having a particularly strong-minded
and not easily adaptable son I knew it would be a challenge but when I visited Daisy Day for the first time I couldn’t believe how great I felt. When I asked when he would be expected to sleep they simply said ‘when he’s ready’ and ‘we’ll do whatever it takes it just look after him’ it was that kind of family like care that I wanted. The staff in the caterpillars room are wonderful, understanding, non-judgemental and seem to take everything in their stride. Daisy Day is clean and purpose built which means the children have the space they need. I feel lucky to have got it right the first time with my choice of nursery and can’t thank the staff enough, bend over backwards for my child.

Such a bright, clean and friendly nursery, my son absolutely loves nursery and the amount of love given to him by the staff makes me happy to leave him.


The settling in sessions were tailored to mine and my son's needs which was a big concern for me with a clingy baby. Leaving him at Daisy was like

leaving him with family and 2 years later the warmth continues.


I can’t recommend Daisy highly enough - thank you.
