My baby has been at the nursery for about 6 weeks now and has settled in really well. The staff are really lovely and welcoming. She rarely cries when I leave her now which makes me feel less bad about leaving her as I know she is happy to be there. I was worried about her sleeping as she isn't the
best sleeper at home but the staff work their magic and she has a good nap every day. The app is really good to keep updated with what's happening throughly the day.

The Carshalton Bright Horizons nursery has exceeded all expectations from settling to looking after our son. Staff are professional, experienced and very emotionally aware of the child and also parent needs. They try as much as possible to keep you updated throughout the day so you have peace of mind
that your child is in good hands. We can also see our son's attachment to the staff there which only shows the care they give to all children. This is no easy job at all and a good nursery wouldn't be good without the dedicated, emotionally aware staff. I could mention the food and the facilities (which are also pretty good) but they wouldn't mean anything without these superwomen looking after our son. Thank you Carshalton Bright Horizons, we will keep on sweetening your days with some brownies because you deserve it!

My daughter loves it there! She's so young and still stays all day and is very happy when I pick her up.
The staff are very friendly, very warm with the babies and always have a smile for my daughter when we drop her off.

I would like to say a big thank you to the preschool teachers at Bright Horizons
Carshalton branch. Two staff members in particular have been very supportive to my son, who had a speech delay. They were willing to help him with his speech with help of a speech therapist. Now my son has been very vocal
and has been offered a place in a private school. I would like to say a big thank you to the management team. The manager always makes you feel welcome anything I picked my son from school. Overall staff are brilliant.

The nursery has been great for both our daughter and us. When moving with a toddler and struggling to find a nursery, the management and staff were very helpful. Within a week, my daughter decided she wouldn't wear nappies anymore, even if we were working on potty training for a while. She really felt
empowered. She loves going there, playing, having stories, discovering about nature, etc.

My son has been going for three years and loves the numerous friends he has made and the staff who look after him. The staff are so lovely, kind and attentive and really care for the kids. He talks about them and his friends all the time.

Great nursery and staff. The staff are very friendly from reception to the rooms. They form great relationships with the children. Lovely food for kids and facilities. The app is great and allows parents to view pictures and daily activities.

My daughter started with Bright Horizons in late August and has taken around 8 weeks to settle in, the staff have all been brilliant with her and supporting her settle, I am very pleased with how the nursery staff have been with my daughter.
At the end of each day the staff always fill me in with
how she has been and what she has been up to, all this info is also available on their app so I can also stay up to date throughout the day as well.
The Nursery is very clean, food menu choice has a wide variety. Overall I am very happy with my daughter being at the Nursery.

Lovely friendly staff who have been very understanding with our daughter as she has taken a while to settle. Nice bright rooms and plenty of activities on offer to keep the children occupied. The nursery is effective at keeping parents up to date throughout the day, I love seeing the little updates
on what she's eaten and pictures of her playing.

On our first walk round we loved the setting and the layout, our son then started doing one morning a week, he struggled at first to settle but his key workers were fabulous with him, offering comfort and support for him. I felt at ease leaving him and knew that he would be given the comfort he needed
to help him. He settled well and now runs in and hugs the key worker in his room, we have seen an improvement in his speech and comes out happy every day. He had a period of being a little pushy with other children but this was handled very well and he soon stopped, the staff would always inform me of any incidents that had occurred that day. The food there is excellent with a wide variety being offered and my son finishes every meal he has. The staff are welcoming, kind, informative and show warmth and kindness to the children. We are so pleased we found this nursery and our son has been able to start his learning journey with them.

My daughter attended Carshalton Day Nursery, and she enjoys her time here and enjoys all the fun activities they provide. She has learnt to potty train while at nursery; the staff are amazing at supporting this. The meals at Carshalton are lovely and nutritious, also the team are amazing and welcoming.

My son joined in May 2021 he is one year old. This was the first experience for such a young child in nursery for me and the whole team were empathetic and supportive towards the anxieties I had.
My son happily goes into nursery two days a week and I feel comfortable leaving him. Staff all come across
as caring, professional and motivated.
There is a nursery app that I find extremely useful when I’m at work to just have a check on what my son has been up to. It updates when/how much food they’ve had, nappy changes, sleep patterns etc. It also sends notifications when they upload pictures of my son which is lovely to see him enjoying his day.
Each week we receive info on what the learning focus has been. I get to see tables that have fun learning-based activities out ready for my son to enjoy!
Bright Horizons Carshalton is always a clean environment and I always feel my son is getting the best care.
The food has a great variety and is cooked on site. Lots of snacks as well!

My sons have all attended Bright Horizons Carshalton, our eldest has left but two are still there. We as a family have always had a wonderful experience there. Despite the current challenges imposed with COVID affecting personal interactions, staffing levels, routine activities. The team at the nursery
have taken it in their stride and managed them well. They have made the necessary changes that needed to be made, almost seamless. As a family, we feel confident that our children's needs are being taken care of. They are being looked after in a caring and friendly environment. The team from management, room staff and kitchen staff work very hard. They are always kind, polite and accessible. I would recommend this nursery to friends and family.

I began my childcare career as a childminder in 1991. In 2005 I made the change to a childcare provision and spent sixteen years in the same company in various roles.


Following my passion for learning and progress, I qualified as an EYPS (Early year practitioner status) and have a BA in Early Education studies. Following qualification, I built on my Early Years experience as an Ofsted Inspector, Assessor and Compliance Officer and supported six Nurseries as a Childcare Support Manager. I bring a wealth of knowledge in understanding the requirements of Ofsted and the Early Years Foundation (EYFS) curriculum.
