Fantastic nursery, my youngest of three, has just started settling in and he’s loving it.
The staff are very friendly and welcoming.
All my children have been to this nursery; my eldest of 8, and there is still a lot of the same staff, which is lovely.

We've got 2 children here and have been with IntoPlay for nearly 3 years. All staff have been extremely caring, supportive and professional. The communication is brilliant with regular updates and clear daily handovers.
Through potty training, they followed our lead and supported the training we were
doing at home which meant minimal accidents (a lot less than we were expecting anyway being the first experience of potty training!)
The kids enjoy the food, often having seconds! We've had some issues with not sitting at the table and the staff have always worked with us and kept us updated so it's always a consistent approach at home and at nursery which I believe has helped. They very much work with us in all things and will follow the child/parents lead.

My daughter absolutely loves this nursery. She is always so excited to go, she loves her friends there, and the staff are fantastic. They are all so lovely, welcoming and professional. My daughter never wants to leave them. In particular, we want to thank her key worker, for all her help with our daughter
in the last few months, her speech has improved massively, and that’s down to her help at nursery as well.
We love IntoPlay and would 100% recommend it to others.

My daughter has been going to IntoPlay since she was 2, she is now 4-years-old, and she absolutely loves it. Staff are always kind, friendly and helpful. My son has just reverted his inductions and is due to start this week, and he really enjoyed it. The girls in the 2’s room, did really well as he’s
attached to me and hasn’t been with anyone else other than grandparents. Would highly recommend IntoPlay; the girls do an amazing job, and the communication is always great.

My son settled in really quickly and is thriving there. All the staff are great and so caring. We have never had a tearful drop off; which I think shows how much he loves it there. I am so glad we chose this nursery.

I have been with the nursery for over five years, and I will be sad to leave this year.
My girls were looked after to my standards, and I never had to worry when leaving them to go to work.
The staff are amazing, and when I say amazing, I mean the best.

My little girl has been going here since May 2018! It has been an amazing experience. She has become such a character and absolutely loves nursery. The love and affection she is shown on a daily basis makes me so happy I chose this nursery. It really is a home from home.
The nursery is always clean
and there are always great activities laid out for the kids. Staff are attentive to both kids and adults.
Regular parents evenings mean we get to look through a learning journey and seeing the progression my little girl has made.
I am now expecting and will no doubt be sending my next child there after my maternity.

Very excellent nursery. First off staff are lovely, professional and caring. Children always seem to be having fun while being allowed to be children. Food- never had complaints from my son who usually has seconds every day! Facilities are clean and as tidy as they can be with toddlers. Location is
very convenient to the town centre and docks. The care is excellent and the activities are plentiful, including rugby and music.

Very happy with this nursery. In the last three years, my son’s confidence and speech have improved massively and it is a result of the efforts that the staff have put in to help him overcome his shyness. There are a lot of activities he likes to take part in and loves the outside play area. I feel
that my son is safe and well looked after here and the staff are always friendly and keep us informed.

IntoPlay took on my boy (who was three at the time) last September after a bit of difficulty at a different nursery without any hesitation and have been nothing but supportive since. He went vegan in the New Year and they have gone out of their way to cater to his new diet and provide a safe welcoming
space for him to grow and play with his guiding adults and new friends that he's made over the past five months. They guided me and gave me notifications for the deadlines for the free childcare hours which makes a huge difference to our finances too. Their security cameras and door system make me feel very secure about my son's safety and the outside space is very big and diverse in its activities and areas for him to play and learn in. This is the nursery he'll stay at now for sure until he goes to school.

My son is always happy to go to nursery, all the staff are extremely friendly and talk about what he has been up to during the day. I have been using the nursery almost since it opened and even with the change of some staff the care and activities are fantastic.

All the staff are lovely, really friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere and facilities are fabulous too. My little boy loves playing in the outside space that they have. They are always informative and keep me updated with what's going on. My little one loves it.

Both my children have attended this nursery with one leaving in September 2018 to go to school and the other now in pre-school. Since my eldest son started in May 2014, the service and standard of care provided by Into-Play (Quays) has been fantastic. The staff are incredibly helpful, very understanding
of my children's needs and supportive of my changing working pattern over the years. Both of my children have had a wonderful time at the nursery, with my eldest often asking to go back to say hello. The activities provided are fun, stimulating and inclusive and the staff regularly invest time into developing tailored approaches to individual children. This, in particular, has been extremely valuable to me and my children.


I have recommended Into-Play very highly to friends and will continue to do so. I don't think we could have picked a better nursery for our children.

I would highly recommend this nursery. My son is 3 and has been going here since May. I've noticed such a positive change with his interaction and how he communicates with other children. My little man loves his 'school days' and all the different activities they do each day.
From my first initial
contact, the team have always been friendly and put me at ease.
They really care about the children and I'm very impressed so far!

I am extremely happy with the IntoPlay Nursery at the Quays. This was the first nursery that I looked at when trying to find somewhere suitable to put my daughter into when she was only six months old. My first visit, I was made to feel very at ease and comfortable and didn't end up going to view any
other nurseries as I was so happy with this one. I have had no problems with them, they are extremely helpful and very attentive and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who was looking at placing their child into a nursery.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since November 2018. Staff have always gone the extra mile to keep me in the loop if anything has happened whilst my child has been in their care. All the staff are friendly and have a brilliant attitude and nothing is ever too much trouble. I have no doubt

The staff here are amazing and really went above and beyond to help my daughter settle in after we moved her from a different nursery. Each day they would write in her communication book how she was in herself, what activities she had enjoyed (so much variety!), what she had eaten and any other notes,
which kept my mind at ease! Since she settled, we now have verbal handovers. The meals are varied and the indoor and outdoor spaces are great. Little things like the allotment, pet fish, baking, family craft events, walks to the Cathedral and Costa for hot chocolates and more makes IntoPlay really stand out. Staff encourage a sense of independence, but equally, are caring and give cuddles when needed. Thank you to the team!

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Joined: 2013

Jade started working at our Quays nursery not long after we opened, in July 2013. Jade is level 3 qualified and worked as room leader in 2-3’s until 2019 when she became joint Manager. Jade is also our Health and Safety officer.

Jade Hemming

Job Title: Manager/Senco

Joined: 2013

Jade started at our Longlevens site in May 2013 as a Level 3 part time member of staff. She then moved over to The Quays in October 2013 and worked in Pre-school as nursery nurse, then became the room lead a few years after. She then took over the role of joint Nursery Manager in 2019, she is also the Nursery SENCo , Pre-School/Curriculum Lead.

Alice started her time with us as a Level 2 apprentice in 2016. After a few years, she was promoted to Deputy Room Lead in Pre-School and now holds a level 3 qualification. Alice is also our student coordinator

Zoe started working at our Quays site in September 2016, following the unexpected closure of a nursery she was working at. Zoe is currently level 2 qualified but is working towards hers level 3, (which is taking a bit longer due to Covid! )
She is based in our Pre-School Room, every morning and is Term Time only.

Deanna started with us as a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner in February 2020, just weeks before the Coronavirus pandemic struck! Deanna works full time in our 2-3's room and is soon going to start studying for her Level 5 qualification.

Korreen Hamlin

Job Title: Nursery Practitioner

Joined: 2013

Korreen first joined our Longlevens team back in 2013, this was on a part-time basis and at that time, she was unqualified. Korreen left in 2014 to pursue other careers, but she came back into childcare a few years ago. After gaining her Level 3 qualification, she started back at our Quays site in 2020. Korreen works full-time with our 2-3's children.

Joined: 2014

Chloe started working at our Quays nursery in September 2014. She is level 3 qualified and has always been in our under twos room. In 2019, she was promoted to Under 2's Room Leader and now works full time.

Diane first began working at Into-Play in 2005! She initially worked as an assistant chef in our busy Longlevens nursery. When we opened The Quays nursery in 2013 - Diane moved over there to work in the kitchen.

Nina has worked at our Quays nursery since 2018. She works part-time and mainly in the office, as our administrator. Nina also sometimes covers in the nursery playrooms on particularly busy sessions. She has 4 children of her own, so has plenty of experience!
