Montessori by Busy Bees provides a Montessori method of teaching alongside the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. The EYFS is a structure of learning, development and care for children from birth to 5 years old set out by the government.

Montessori by Busy Bees provides first class care for your child in a loving environment where each child is treated as an individual. Their professionally qualified team works together to ensure that from babies' early developmental years through to preparation for beginning school, each child is encouraged to realise their full potential.

Funding & Fees Guide for Montessori by Busy Bees Putney

  • Full week £383.50 (0-2 years) £351.50 (2-5 years) Daily rates and sessional rates also available

  • Additional Information:
    There is a non-refundable Registration Fee payable to secure your place of £100
    £50 of this fee will be credited to the first invoice issued to you following your child’s start date.
    Fees are based on 52 weeks per year, paid monthly in advance
    A minimum booking of 2 sessions per week is required
    Minimum Notice requirements apply, see Terms and Conditions
    No refunds will be given for sickness or holidays.
    Fees are subject to review in accordance with the Terms and Conditions
    V09.24
    The nursery will be closed on all Bank Holidays (normal charges still apply)
    Session times Our Fees
    Fees will include all meals, drinks and snacks prepared on site by our Nursery Chef.
    Sibling Discounts also available (Terms & Conditions apply)
    The nursery will also be closed for one week at Christmas, normal charges still apply as this has already
    been deducted from the yearly fees.
    Parents should note that when children become eligible for 15 or 30 hours funding, this will be available on
    Full Week and Full Day places only.

I'm the mum of a toddler, we joined Montessori by Busy Bees Putney a bit more than 1 year ago.
After a time of settling my child was so excited to go at the nursery. We loved the welcoming atmosphere and the professionalism of each teacher.
This place is a precious place to help the development of
your little one, to help him socialize and build awareness of others' needs. We felt surrounded by people that you can trust. We couldn't expect a better place for our child to start his social life.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have found this Montessori nursery for our son. The dedicated staff have been so kind and caring with such good energy, ensuring he is well looked after. Sending your young baby to nursery is such a challenge and at Busy Bees they made us feel so comfortable and supported
him and us in this settling phase really well. The nursery is spacious with lots of natural light and the Montessori philosophy encourages lots of independence from a young age. Our little one loves the nursery and we would highly recommend it to any parent looking for a nurturing and positive environment for their child.

Very happy with Busy Bees. Our little one struggled at first starting nursery but is now really happy going in and is thriving.
Great caring, enthusiastic staff in all the rooms she has been in, and better long-term staff retention than the nurseries we experienced with our eldest.

Such an excellent nursery where the staff is there to hear your concerns, give you advice and do whatever is needed to help you and the child thrive. My daughter is so happy there and she loves the great garden. Even on holidays, her favourite role-play game is to pretend that we are going to “Busy

This is a wonderful nursery: staff are really caring and professional, my son gets to do a really wide range of stimulating Montessori-related activities. The facilities are great - the rooms are really tidy and clean, the garden is spacious allowing for all sorts of fun outdoor activities which my
son really enjoys. Pictures of my little one doing various activities are now sent on a regular basis via the app - which I really appreciate.
I know my son is very well looked after and is happy there.

Busy Bees Putney is friendly and welcoming with a calm positive atmosphere. The core staff group is excellent and provides my daughter with support and nurture for her development. My daughter attended the Putney Busy Bees for 2 years and we had a great experience. She was lucky to have fantastic key workers and it was great to see her development progress in their care and the bond she had with them.


The manager is great and was brilliant in supporting us with settling in

after the first pandemic lockdown.

My son loved the nursery. Every day was another exciting day to go back to the nursery with lots of smiles on his face. The members of staff are all lovely and friendly. Both my kids loved the time at the nursery. Carers are friendly and caring and make a real connection with each child. Always very understanding with personal circumstances and supportive. Dropping them off in the morning, leaving them with a smile, tells the story itself.

We had a great experience with Busy Bees Wandsworth. Our son loved it from day 1. The staff are super lovely and very caring. They accommodated all of our requests, with no fuss. They were easy to communicate with, always responded promptly, and super organised with the app in letting us know what our
son was up to.
Our son was always happy to go in in the morning and seemed to be enjoying every day.
It was very emotional for both us and the staff when we had to leave because of our house move. I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone.

We are so thankful to this nursery as both of our twins enjoyed it since the very first day.
Their key workers, as well as the rest of the staff, were always amazing with them, helping them to settle and understanding their needs for their development.


We just moved abroad, and they keep talking

about their teachers, friends and remembering the songs they used to do during circle time.

We absolutely recommend Montessori by Busy Bees Putney. Our son attended the nursery for one and a half years until we moved abroad and he looked forward to going to the nursery every day. We are so thankful that our son had such a happy introduction to a nursery setting and for all the one to one support
he received relating to some of his difficulties. The staff were very supportive and kindly liaised with external therapists and provided invaluable feedback. We were also amazed by what our son learnt at the nursery. Most importantly, he was happy!

We love sending our son to this nursery! Super communicative with diaries, emails and they can’t do enough for you on the phone. My son had a great time and the staff clearly knew his interest quickly and thoroughly. Great menus too! I was often jealous of his lunches haha. We chose this nursery because
of the great reviews but it’s also much better value than some of the extremely expensive nurseries in the area. Beautiful space with lots of different toys. Thank you to everyone on the team.

I have nothing but praise for Busy Bees Putney. My daughter (I have actually sent both by children here over the years) has absolutely loved her time there - from when she was 9 months to 4 years old. The staff are so genuinely caring and really foster a wonderful environment of both fun and learning.
I would like to particularly recognise the pre-school staff for all that they do to prepare the kids for school.
In addition, under the manager's leadership, the team have done a fantastic job during the pandemic. They have been open and consistent with communication and really helped to ensure things have run as smoothly as they could.
I am genuinely sad to be saying goodbye to this nursery but I would highly recommend it to anyone.

My two daughters both attended Busy Bees for 18 months before we had to move. They absolutely loved it. The staff were very warm and friendly and the girls made many friends. The Montessori learning approach was very effective and my eldest was very ready to progress to reception when she finished.

Great nursery. We moved to Busy Bees when our daughter was 3-years old, and she settled right in. The staff running the 3+ room are exceptional and real professionals in childcare. There is a strong drive for tidying-up after playing - we found this very beneficial as you can replicate the same system
at home! Our daughter has enjoyed her time at Busy Bees and has very fond memories of it.

Both of my children have attended the nursery and although they have now moved onto school they both loved their time there. Hello my name is Lauren and I am the Centre Director at Montessori by Busy Bees Putney.  


I have worked in childcare for over 15 years but started my journey here at Putney in October 2014. I started off as a room practitioner and have worked my way up to Centre Director. I have a Level 3 in Early Years Education and a Level 4 qualification in Leadership and Management. 


I am proud to lead an experienced staff team who constantly demonstrate their love for the children under our care and always strive to support each child's development in the best possible way. Together with our families we form a close community which contributes positively to the children's experience. 


I work hard to establish a strong partnership with everyone in my setting, so we can achieve the best outcome for all. Communication with the community is something I feel is key and my door is always open.
