This Little Bear's Nursery School has been set up with homeliness in mind, aiming for a warm and stimulating environment that can contribute to positive early years learning.

Opened in 2011, the nursery pursues age-specific learning, while giving children the freedom to explore and be creative. The facility has a large garden and artificial grass, with outdoor play being important to the curriculum, while also having sleep areas.

As well as a sound education, the nursery also supports good nutrition, catering for specific dietary requirements and with the highest food hygiene standards.

The Little Bear's team launched their refurbished rooms in 2021 which have been designed to promote a more comprehensive sensory experience to enhance children's learning experience. Their new baby room has plenty of space to enable babies to move around safely with plenty of exciting resources to explore, as well as a separate tranquil rest area to provide a space for some well-deserved rest.

My daughter absolutely loves her nursery. The staff genuinely care and are so tentative. We drop her off every day with total peace of mind she is in the best hands. We’re so lucky to have found this nursery in our local area.

My daughter has been attending Little Bear's Wanstead Village since April and she has loved every session. The staff are so helpful and friendly and are wonderful with the children and took time to settle my daughter in to suit her needs. The rooms are big and the location is in a lovely area. We receive
updates throughout the day on our daughter and I would highly recommend this nursery.

I sent my son at 7 months to Little Bear's. The staff are so welcoming and kind and really put me at ease with the transition to nursery. My son absolutely loves going twice a week and I love receiving the updates on the parent app so I can see what he’s been up to. I would highly recommend this nursery
to anyone in the area it’s a really warm, nurturing happy environment.

My eldest started in 2018 and was well prepared for primary school thanks to the care and dedication of staff to assist with her literacy and numeracy learning as well as teaching her self care and kindness to others. The managers are always on hand to answer questions or concerns and emails are promptly
replied to.
I now have my second child here who is in the baby room. Considering she is a Covid baby with little interaction with others, the staff have been amazing in helping her grow in confidence. She has an active day with outside play and inside sensory activities, learning through song and different types of play as well. They help her to eat and always comfort her if she is anxious. I am so happy with the progress she is making and that is due to the the staff there.

Little Bears in Wanstead Village has been a godsend for my son. We joined when he was 2 years old due to the pandemic so I was really concerned about him settling in, however, the staff were extremely warm and welcoming and made it their number 1 priority to make my son feel at home. It is now a second
home for us and all the staff are like extended family members. They are so energetic and attentive on a daily basis and the feedback I receive from the room leaders on pick up and via the app is so reassuring. He also comes home telling us about all the fun and diverse activities he has been doing and runs to the front door in the mornings to leave to go to nursery. We have noticed a real leap in his development since starting there and he continues to grow weekly.
I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent, the staff are second to none and I am confident of the facilities, daily activities and overall care for my son.

My now 5 year old attended Little Bears from age 2-4 and we loved it so much that now our nearly 2 year old has been attending since he was 9 months old. We love the family friendly feel and know that our little bubs is in safe hands. In the mornings he actually waits by the front door to go to nursery
and his face lights up when I talk about the team and his friends he’ll be seeing that day. We are very lucky to have found Little Bears and really appreciate everyone there.

Pleasant staff who really care about making your child's transition from home to nursery feel like home to home.

My son started at Little Bear's when he was almost 1 and we have found it a lovely, warm and personal environment and he has been very happy here, even with the challenging last 18 months. He is now in the over 3's room (preschool) and loves the experience and has really blossomed. He loves being outside
and the activities that he is able to participate in daily.
I would recommend the nursery and am very grateful for my son that this was the nursery we chose when looking around them almost 3 years ago.

My son has attended Little Bear's for the last couple of years. The staff are fantastic - cordial, patient and friendly. The facilities are great as well - large nursery rooms and a big garden with a variety of activities and toys. They offer an app/website for parents where updates are posted. My son

Since moving to London in 2017 my daughter has progressed through Little Bears, starting in the baby room, she will be finishing next month in the “big girls” room. The staff are wonderful, from the room and office staff to the cleaners & kitchen staff, everyone is friendly and genuinely seem happy
in their work. I visited several nursery’s before I found Little Bears, as soon as I was shown around I knew both my daughter and I would be very happy in this setting, and that hasn’t changed. I would recommend Little Bears to anyone looking for supportive, inclusive childcare where they can trust their child is in good hands. My daughter, now 4 and ready for school has been taught so many important early years skills while at Little Bears, and most importantly at the beginning and end of each day, she has a huge smile on her face. We will very much miss everyone here.

My son has been at this nursery since he was 11 months. It’s a fantastic nursery and all the staff are absolutely brilliant! My son has been attending this nursery for over 18 months. He leaves for school next month and I am heartbroken. This nursery is his extended family. They look after him like I do and every day he comes home talking about something new. The communication between myself and the nursery is frequent and
if anything happens I get informed. There is an app where you get sent snippets of what they have eaten and what they are doing along with regular assessment reports. The nursery have helped me with his development not only at nursery but also at home. Due to their open door policy, I am able to pop by the office and ask questions and seek guidance without being judged.

From the very first visit to Little Bear’s I knew it was a special place. The staff were wonderfully welcoming and warm. I have witnessed and experienced each member of staff, from managers to carers, take the time to make eye contact and smile with parents and (especially) children alike, even when
passing you in the corridors. Instantly as you enter the premises you know that the children come first and are always their priority.
Little Bear’s has been my daughter’s first experience at nursery and I have seen her go from strength to strength. Her social skills with peers has flourished under their care making sure she is supported, encouraged and nurtured.
The love and attention that my daughter receives not only from her key worker (who is wonderful) but every carer in her room has been exemplary. The management team is second to none and go out of their way to support each child any way they can. I would recommend Little Bear’s every time.
