This Little Bear's Nursery School has been set up with homeliness in mind, aiming for a warm and stimulating environment that can contribute to positive early years learning.

Opened in 2011, the nursery pursues age-specific learning, while giving children the freedom to explore and be creative. The facility has a large garden and artificial grass, with outdoor play being important to the curriculum, while also having sleep areas.

As well as a sound education, the nursery also supports good nutrition, catering for specific dietary requirements and with the highest food hygiene standards.

The Little Bear's team launched their refurbished rooms in 2021 which have been designed to promote a more comprehensive sensory experience to enhance children's learning experience. Their new baby room has plenty of space to enable babies to move around safely with plenty of exciting resources to explore, as well as a separate tranquil rest area to provide a space for some well-deserved rest.

Little Bear's Nursery is a fantastic nursery for my little one. She is currently adapting to her new setting; this being made easier, due to the supportive, caring and professional staff and key workers. Keep up the great work!

Baby, Mum, and Dad couldn't be happier. We couldn't ask for our son to be cared for any better than he is now. A number of the staff are mature, with children of their own, which fills us with confidence.
Would recommend this nursery to the world!

My daughter has been at Little Bear's since she was one years old, she is now four years old. When I drop off my daughter in the morning there is no doubt in my mind that she will be treated well. The staff are great!

Extremely happy with all the staff at the Nursery. My daughter has a very rare health condition. As such it meant that I had to ask the Nursery to make certain allowances for her and be considerate of her needs. They went over and above what was asked and expected of them. They treated my daughter with
great care and compassion. Management were fabulous. The rest of the Nursery staff were extremely friendly and attentive. I haven't got a bad word to say about any one. Little Bear's gave my daughter a chance where other Nurseries within the same area were reluctant to take her on. Would definitely recommend to other parents.

Three years ago we chose this nursery because of its bright, spacious rooms with a great large garden and friendly staff. It is a private nursery which helped a lot with our working hours, also it was open during holidays and they were very flexible with our requests. Walking distance from our home
which was a bonus.


We made the right choice because our son is hard of hearing and we are deaf. The key-workers allocated in each room made the effort with our son from the age of 1 till 4, the communication and access was there. We had a communication book for the staff to write down information for each day he attended which was very useful for all of us and we felt comfortable with this arrangement.


It is our son's last day today- he has been very happy at Little Bear's for 3 years and he enjoyed being with his peers and staff 3/4 days a week and he will miss it there when he starts school.

Really happy with our choice of nursery. Our son has settled in so quickly and really enjoys his day.


What really made this nursery stand out from others we visited is the staff; they are always warm and welcoming and really do treat the children with kindness and respect. The manager is lovely

and knows the children well. She's always been on hand to answer any questions we've had.

An excellent place for my one-year-old. All the staff are really friendly and welcoming and my son loves his care givers and is learning a lot at nursery. One of the main reasons I send my son there is because of how good the staff are with him.

Our 3rd and youngest son attends Little Bear's and accordingly, we have had a number of years experience of other nurseries. Little Bears compares very favourably and appears to be a very well run and well-organised nursery and our son (just turned 2) is very happy there. His individual key workers
have been very attentive since his arrival as a baby and the variety of activities he takes part in every day are helping him develop quickly. The wide variety of food our son has experienced is also a big plus point. The management are also very flexible when work commitments dictate we need to put him into nursery for an extra day.
In short, we would have no hesitation in recommending Little Bear's to any parent in the area looking for a nursery.

As first-time parents, we found the prospect of choosing a nursery for our son really daunting but definitely think we've made the right choice with Little Bears. Our son has settled really well and has made a great connection with his key workers and other staff at the nursery. He's content and happy
to go - often doesn't want to leave. It's really lovely to be able to leave him in a setting that we know he's totally happy in. The nursery is really warm and friendly and the staff clearly seem to love doing their job.
Our son comes home learning new words every day and is really gaining confidence which I feel is a credit to the nursery.

My son has been going to this nursery for just over a year now and he has settled in very quickly. The one he attends is the nursery based at Seagry Road. It's a lovely nursery, the facilities are lovely and the garden is fantastic, with lots for my son to do. The main aspect for me are the staff, all
of whom are extremely friendly, calm, reliable and trustworthy. The carer to parent communications is also really good. I would not send my son elsewhere.
