Doodle Do Day Nursery is a private day care nursery located in a stunning converted church hall in Bishop’s Stortford.

Situated just a short distance from the town centre, the Nursery is in the ideal location for both local residents and commuters into London.

Doodle Do Day Nursery enables children to develop and flourish, fostering a love for learning through play to encourage each child to reach their full potential. Their mission is to provide enriched learning opportunities in a secure environment for children to be naturally curious and confident.

The nursery offers a variety of extracurricular activities including Spanish lessons for all children on Wednesday mornings, Yoga for all children on Thursday afternoons and sport coach for toddlers and pre-school on Friday mornings.

Staff encourage parent’s contribution to their child’s learning and work closely with them to gather information about their child’s learning at home.

We've been extremely happy with the care and attention our son has had.
The staff in the baby room have been so accommodating and really helped settle him in.
They always update us on what he's done on collection and are always genuinely pleased to see him when he is dropped off.

Great location, central.
Tricky parking.
Lovely team.
Caring and passionate about the children.
Good activities.
Don't always know what children have been up to.
Gets busy so don't always have a handover.
Feel very safe in leaving my daughter there.

Our daughter has attended Doodle Do Day Nursery from 7 months old. She has been in every room where she bonded with staff and formed new friendships with other children. The staff are friendly, polite and professional. Our daughter's learning and development skills are a credit to the staff that spend
the day with her. Every day she says or does something new and we know this is learned activity or behaviour from Doodle Doos. We cannot recommend the nursery enough.

The nursery has been brilliant from the moment we started and our son loves his days there. There is a great range of activities and stimulation provided and all of the team are fantastic with the children. I am sorry that the use of iconnect has been discontinued. As a mother returning to work and
leaving my child for the first time in a new environment, I found it comforting to be able to see how my son's day was without having to wait until pick up.
Overall though, the nursery itself is great and we are delighted we chose Doodle Do Day Nursery for our child's early years.

Doodle Do is a very welcoming and happy place which both my children attended over the years since it first opened.


The facilities are well thought out, clean and nurturing to the children. Each week there are different themes and activities to engage the children and optimise their development and

social skills. Children are encouraged positively and I felt each of my children were offered tailored care and support which suited both their needs.


After all these years and investment in our children’s childcare requirements, we are delighted we chose Doodle Do. It was a special place for us all and helped shape our kids and prepare them for school and beyond with the foundations and support offered.

My daughter has been attending Doodle Do since she was 9 months old and is now in the pre-school room. She has loved all stages at the nursery and has built amazing relationships with all her key workers. The staff are always attentive, there to listen and help whenever needed. I could not have asked
for anything more for the early years development of my child. Without the excellent guidance and teaching she has received, she would not be the confident little girl she is who is ready for big school! We will be so sad to be leaving in the summer and would like to say a big thank you to all at Doodle Do.

My grandson goes to this nursery and has always enjoyed coming in to play, when I pick him up he's always sad to leave. My grandson adores the girls who work there and enjoys playing with all the wonderful resources, such a fantastic nursery, thank you all for looking after him so well.

A great nursery for my grandson, I remember his first day and how nervous he was, when he came home he was so happy and all that fear had gone. Thanks to the ladies for always reassuring him and making him feel at ease, he's now such a confident boy and a very happy one too!

I would highly recommend Doodle Do Nursery. The facilities are clean, and the whole nursery is very well organised. The staff are very engaged with the babies. There is plenty of social interaction with other babies and cuddles with the nursery staff themselves. Our 16-month-old son loves arriving in
the morning. He eats very well there and gets exposure to indoor and outdoor activities, that I hadn't even thought of doing with him. The staff themselves are very friendly and willing to talk about how he has spent his day. They are also interested in his well-being at home too. The updates on the parenting app are also great to have.

We love Doodle Do Nursery. Our son, 17months, looks forward to going in every morning. The staff are like family, there is a wonderful atmosphere. The equipment is of high quality and they always have lots of fun with plenty of indoors and outdoors activities. The food must be really yummy too, as
our son eats more there than at home!
