Spring Nursery Kinloss provides high quality early learning and childcare experiences for babies and young children from 4 months to 5 years.

The team work closely with families to support children in reaching their full potential. The nursery is open all year round from 7.30 - 6.00, Monday to Friday, offering Early Learning and Childcare to all families in Moray. It provides both day care and government funded spaces offering 1140 hours (up to 30 hours per week) for three and four year olds and eligible 2 year olds.

The nursery is set in a large, purpose-built centre which includes bright, well-resourced rooms for babies, toddlers and pre-school children. It is registered to care for up to 100 children. There is also an enclosed garden area that allows all children to explore, investigate and extend their learning. The manager is qualified with BA Childhood Practice and all staff are qualified practitioners, or working towards their qualification, and are all registered with the SSSC. Spring Kinloss is a partner provider in delivering government funded places through Moray Council, and works closely with the Local Authority.

The nursery is inspected by the Care Inspectorate and Education Scotland; the last inspection in June 2021 by the Care Inspectorate who awarded a 5 - very good. It was one of the pilot nurseries to deliver extended 30 hour funded places and has continued to do so.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I took my twin boys out of a nursery and brought them to Springs Nursery and it was the best decision I have made, since my boys have been there their confidence and behaviour has improved tenfold in such a short space of time, I cannot thank the staff enough for their
input. All the children are treated with the utmost respect as individuals which clearly can be seen in the classrooms, the attention to their well being is just so refreshing.
My boys are safe and secure, but most importantly they are happy!

My little boy started here a few months ago and he was quite clingy, however, the staff are great and very personable with him and he quickly felt safe and settled and was happy for me to leave him. He loves it now and looks forward to going and then coming home to tell me all about it. Best decision
I’ve made was to put him in to get him used to that type of environment ready for school. Now he’s more than ready. Thanks for everything you’ve done for him!

My daughter started coming back in February and was unsure and not keen for me to go, she still is some days, but the staff are good at taking her and distracting her. She has come on really well, she is growing in confidence and starting to join in more due to lots of encouragement from her Keyworker
and other staff members. She is being more vocal now too which is great.
I would recommend Spring to anyone, thanks Ladies for all you do to help our children on a daily basis.

Both my boys attend Spring Kinloss and have settled in really quickly. They have a great indoor and outdoor space for the kids to explore and there is a lot of free-flowing play which my boys love.
I love hearing about their day when I collect them and there is always new nursery rhymes for them to
teach me.

All 3 of my boys have come to this nursery from babies. My youngest really enjoys his time spent at nursery. The staff are brilliant - professional, approachable, caring and nurturing. There is such a good variety of activities for the children, both indoor and outdoor, to support their learning and
development. Knowing that my son is happy, well looked after and safe means I can go to work without worrying about him.

My son has been going to Spring Kinloss since he was 8 months old. He loves it. He is comfortable with every member of staff, loves the play area and the outside activities. I feel incredibly comfortable and happy when I leave my son at Spring Kinloss. I never have worries or concerns and even if I
did, I know the staff would take the time to resolve any issues. They are always happy to talk about my son, whether it be a snotty nose or his development, if you want to talk, they will take the time to reassure you. Spring Kinloss is a wonderful place, I recommend it to everyone I talk to and I feel incredibly lucky that my son has started his educational journey at a warm, encouraging, friendly, happy and amazing place.

I have been coming to Spring Kinloss for nearly six years with my three boys. The staff are amazing and work very hard and have a very hard job. I will be sad in two years when all my boys have finished nursery and are away to school, times goes so fast. My eldest is in p2 and still says he would love
to be back at nursery. Amazing memories and still more to be made. Thanks Spring Kinloss for everything.

My daughter has attended Kinloss Nursery now for over a year. She thoroughly enjoys her days spent there. The staff are amazing and my daughter has her favourites who she often says she likes more than me.
She's always doing different learning activities and is always happy when attending. She has
learnt so much in one year of being there. Happy child = happy mummy.
