We originally looked around the setting for our son, who would start in the main school the following year.
We looked around the nursery on a return visit we had booked as we fell in love with the setting.
We immediately transferred our son to Sunnylands in September 2022.
He had previously attended
another setting but never settled and seemed unhappy there.
At Sunnylands, he settled instantly, as the staff were so warm and welcoming.
The main thing that stuck out was the consistency and familiarity with the staff in the nursery and their breadth of knowledge regarding separation anxiety.
They sent home books, gave cuddles and communicated through a parent/teacher notebook.
They are a fantastic team and show our family such love and kindness, which is hard to portray in a review.
The rooms are kitted out with every piece of equipment and learning materials that you can imagine.
They learn French, cook weekly and follow the seasons through learning and play.
It's an exceptional place.

Sunnylands Nursery is an excellent nursery. The staff nurture and care for the children and show great support and dedication to all. They provide a very high standard of education. However, they treated each child as an individual and adapt their learning depending on each child's need. My child has
developed both academically and socially, and we feel she is very well prepared to start school in September. Most importantly, she skips in every day and always comes out smiling.

As a teacher myself, I wanted a specific environment for my son. I wanted him to develop his literacy and numeracy skills, whilst socialising and playing with other polite and well-behaved children in a safe and caring environment - Sunnylands delivered this exactly. The nursery team are fantastic.
They got to know my son and tailored learning and play to his interests. They cared about his emotional development and supported him when he was slightly unsettled by our house move. The staff are knowledgable, approachable and professional - they’re a high-quality team. The nursery itself has lots of outdoor space which my son loved playing in. He also enjoyed the French lesson and music/dance time too. Yoga was a particular highlight! My son has left Sunnylands more than ready for school. He is confident of his abilities and his character within a class. He has developed a love of learning. I can’t praise the nursery enough. They have delivered everything I hoped they would and more.

My son went to two nurseries before Sunnylands and the difference was amazing. This is by far the best nursery ever. Children do not just play, they are taught and encouraged to keep learning, writing, and awarded for doing well. My son quickly learnt to write numbers from 1 - 10 at the age of three.
It's such a positive place and I would highly recommend this nursery.

Sunnylands is a fantastic nursery and offers a loving clean environment with facilities which provides a wide range of activities for children.
The staff are warm, friendly and very efficient - I cannot speak highly enough of them. They foster good relationships with families and always have time
to discuss the children, which keeps parents well informed and involved. They instil confidence, good manners and knowledge with great emphasis on ensuring each child achieves a positive early year learning journey. The children are highly praised and rewarded for their achievements and encouraged to express their individuality. They are also well stimulated throughout the day with various fun and educational activities tailored to the different needs and interests. Healthy eating is very well promoted and with an amazing well equipped and secured outdoor space, the children also enjoy a wide range of physical activities.
My son has learned so much and absolutely loves being at nursery.

This is our second child to enter this nursery and we were excited for her to start. The nursery is an excellent example of good child care. The staff nurture and care for the children while encouraging them to take the first steps of independence. They teach manners, good values and how to be kind
to each other. It is the perfect stepping stone when entering reception. They go on to enter into school like confident, decent children. I cannot recommend highly enough.

I cannot say enough good things about Sunnylands. My little boy has been going for a year now and he has come on so much, his reading, counting, colours, manners and just in so many ways. All the teachers are so nice and cannot do enough for any of the little ones or adults. As I say, I just do not
have enough nice words for them and the setup.
Absolutely brilliant. Thank you.

What a kind and loving environment for my child to learn and prepare for school.
The staff have such a wealth of knowledge.
We feel at ease leaving our second child in their care.
My first child came to Sunnylands and remembers the nursery with such warmth.

My son recently joined Sunnylands Nursery and I can not praise the nursery enough for the great work they have done with him. The staff are like family, they are very friendly and caring for my son.


My son is happy to leave me and get busy with his teachers. Any questions or concerns I have had

Our daughter loves attending nursery. She has made excellent progress both academically and socially during her time here. She enjoys learning through a variety of play-based activities and the extra opportunities that are offered to her. She is well-looked after, enjoys delicious home-cooked lunches
and always comes home with a smile. We are very pleased with her pre-school education and feel that she will be well prepared to start school in September.

Sunnylands have made a massive impact on my little boy. He has come out of his shell and grown a beautiful personality. His knowledge surprises me every day and he can now recognise his number, letters, shapes and colours which he wasn’t able to do before.
I’m a trained nursery nurse so I found it
incredibly hard when looking around nurseries but I just fell in love with Sunnylands and the staff. It’s a 5-star nursery.

Lovely, positive nursery. My daughter attends 5 days a week, since starting at Sunnylands nursery in September 2016 she has learnt so much. She loves coming home with stickers and certificates of achievements such as star of the day. The nursery staff are very caring and always there to talk too.

We could not be happier with the care and attention our little girl has had since she started at Sunnylands Nursery. Having come from a very competent childminder into the nursery I was not expecting the significant level of improvement that we have witnessed. The expansion of my son's interests has also been incredible. The staff are always welcoming and knowledgeable and you cannot help but feel that your child
is in the best possible learning environment. Always excited to go and always happy when leaving.
I could not be happier with our choice of nursery.

It has only been a month since my 3-year-old son started at Sunnylands Nursery and we have seen a dramatic improvement in his academic and social development.

Sunnylands Nursery is outstanding.
The staff are always more than happy to help.
I have made the staff aware that my child has a speech delay and they have set my daughter some pictures to learn the sounds that are associated, which my child has now achieved.
The staff have a scheme where stories
and books can be exchanged every week. The letter books are very useful and supporting my child to learn new words.
My child is learning to potty train and the staff are very supportive whilst we are trying to achieve this. My son had previously been to this nursery and learnt a lot from his experience.
I was very happy to place my second child into this nursery.

My daughter started at Sunnylands Nursery in September 2016.
From our initial visit, I knew it was the best place for her to learn and grow. The staff are qualified and well equipped, they have a modern learning approach but retain the old fashioned values which I feel is so important.
The nursery
environment is safe, well equipped, stimulating and fun, there is sound continuity between home and nursery and the staff are very approachable. There are lots of learning opportunities offered, from French to music & movement, ICT, literacy and numeracy, they are really preparing children for school.
I would recommend Sunnylands Nursery to any parent who is looking for early years education for their child.
