A HOMELY AND WELCOMING NURSERY IN THE HEART OF ENGLEFIELD GREEN

Englefield Green Day Nursery and Preschool has been purposefully designed with enriching environments and activities to support your child’s development from 3 months to 5 years. They ensure the transition from home to nursery, and then on to school, is a happy and fulfilling journey of learning.

The Nursery love encouraging your child to explore their interests and develop self-confidence as they learn. The spacious, age-appropriate rooms feature plenty of books, art supplies and paper for those creative moments, kitchen areas for role-play, and activities that inspire young minds to see maths in their environment. Daily activities range from painting to yoga, dancing, singing and exploring outdoors. They also have a special milk kitchen and a separate sleep room for under twos.

Every room in the Englefield Green nursery has direct access to the large garden and outdoor play area. These include areas of ‘No Grow’ flooring, safe for all ages and all weather types, ensuring children can explore the outdoors whatever the weather. Outdoor play is as good for the mind as it is for the body, and the practitioners encourage children to question their environment and discover new things. That could be looking for bugs, gathering natural materials for scientific study or observing how the changing seasons impact what is around us.

The nursery in Englefield Green is located on a quiet residential road within the grounds of Royal Holloway University. They provide all-inclusive care, including all nappies, wipes, baby formula and fresh, nutritionally balanced meals prepared by the dedicated on-site chef.

Good activities for the children. Staff are very friendly. Very good guidance and support towards the children. Good variety of meals. Level of learning is excellent.

My son recently moved up a room which he managed without a problem. All the staff helped with the transition and are always answering any questions. Any problems (to which there are few) are dealt with in a prompt manor. My son loves all the activities that he does at nursery mainly Forest School. The
menus varied and if they are allergic to anything provisions are made.

We moved our children from a private nursery to a 'chain' nursery - Bright Horizons. The management staff are very professional, they have policies and procedures which are followed. This gives me peace of mind compared to my children's last nursery.
The staff at Bright Horizons are lovely and my
girls come home happy every time they are here. The manager is brilliant, if you have any issues/concerns they are dealt with professionally. Excellent day care provider!
