I have worked for Banana Moon since the nursery first opened in 2012. I hold a Diploma in Nursery Nursing, which I was awarded in 1999.
I am a mummy of two boys, that is my world. Both of them have attended Banana Moon and have both now graduated. and flown the nest.
Working with children is my passion, and I love nothing more than seeing children flourish, learn, develop and grow over the years at Banana Moon.
The children and families are the key part of our Banana Moon family. We are not just a nursery we are your children’s family.
My role is to allow children to follow their interests and for the staff to provide stimulating learning environments for them to do so. Keeping everyone safe is paramount, it’s my role as the Senior Nursery Manager, I have a duty of care for the children, staff and families that are enrolled within our setting.

I have been working within the childcare sector since 2006, in a range of different roles, working with children aged 0-10 years old.
I completed my Level 3 Childcare Learning and development in 2009 and gained a certificate of higher education in Educational studies in 2010.
I joined the Banana Moon family in October 2018 as Deputy Manager and have supported the teams and families since then. I have a passion for childcare and try to look at all aspects from the child's point of view to make new ways to learn fun and exciting. Our young children are our future and it is our role to ensure that we inspire the next generation and motivate them in delivering exceptionally outstanding child care. Supporting my team in achieving this and watching the children grow and learn is the most rewarding part of working in Early years education. Being able to give every child equal opportunities to reach their full potential is something that we truly believe in at Banana Moon Billericay.
I spend my leisure time travelling with friends and family, enjoying good days out, and going on lovely walks.

I have worked at Banana Moon Billericay part-time since May 2023. My daughter worked at the setting and I heard lovely things about the company. When the job opportunity arose I decided that I would go for the position.
I work with a great team of people, I always wear a smile and I love hearing the children shout over the gate, through to the kitchen what's for lunch today? This makes me smile. I love supporting the children and I am looking forward to supporting the children with cookery classes.
I still continue with my hairdressing role where I have had clients for quite a number of years, I have excellent communication and I am happy when my clients are.

Hi, I am Fibian, everyone calls me Pheobe.
I finished my GCSE, in August 2023 I decided an Apprenticeship would be best suited for me. I approached Banana Moon Billericay in September 2023 as I liked the way the nursery looked and the vibe that it had. I am excited to watch the staff role model great expectations for the children, so I can lead the nursery generation of Banana Moon children. There are different age groups of children which all have different rooms, before working in childcare, I wasn't sure what to expect. This means all the children have age-appropriate rooms and activities going on. I have learned so much already. I have just started my level 2 qualification in childcare.
Since joining the nursery, I have loved that the staff are so friendly, kind, and welcoming. I fitted in easily and feel part of the nursery family feel.
In my spare time, I like spending time with family and friends.
