Tenderlinks Day Nursery - Wandsworth provides high-quality childcare and education for children aged six months to five years.

Situated in a truly fantastic location for daily outings, the children can regularly visit the park, library, local soft play centres, the supermarket and the fire station.

Tenderlinks Day Nursery boasts well equipped indoor and outdoor spaces providing an exciting and stimulating environment for all children as they grow and learn.

The nursery also has weekly specialist-led classes of music, dance, sport, gardening and French.

Fresh and healthy meals are delivered daily by Care Catering, who specialise exclusively in providing high-quality food for the nursery.

All meals are made using fresh ingredients and served with extra vegetables.

Any dietary requirements are discussed with parents and catered for accordingly.

We are extremely happy with Little Wombles and the nurturing and happy environment. The creativity and activities on offer are of a very high standard. All the staff who work at Little Wombles are caring, professional and are very good at communicating with us. The extra activities on offer are varied
and fun for the children. Good, varied, healthy diet and snacks. We would be very happy to recommend Little Wombles to present and future parents.

I'm really happy with the choice of Little Wombles (Broomhill) to be my son's nursery. In just a couple of months we could see his development at all levels. Staff are dedicated, helpful and keen on understanding his specific needs. There are also numerous extra activities every day, from ballet/dance,
French, music and sports and he simply loves them all.


It's also easy to get to (by bus, in my case), King George's Park is just across the road and the area is quite safe and secure. There is also a nearby swimming club for kids.


Overall facilities are good, eventually a bigger outside space would be recommended as well as with a different (softer) floor. Currently it's tarmac, but ideally would be that soft material we can find on kids playgrounds. Other than that, rooms inside are adjusted to the kids max capacity and ratio of staff per children.


My only not-so-positive comment would be the food. It is outsourced, but it's a limitation of not having a full-kitchen in-house.

Thank you so much for this positive review of our setting. We are very proud of the extensive activities that we offer at Little Wombles and have chosen very carefully the experienced specialist teachers that we work with.
We are in agreement that the outdoor area would be better having soft tarmac and this is something we will be trying to negotiate with those we share the site with. It is a good size for the small number of children in the Nursery and we do lay down matting and create designated areas for our youngest children when they are outside. The children also enjoy a lot of time over at King Georges park for Nature walks and sports activities.
Unfortunately because we share the site we are unable to install cooking facilities, but we do work very closely with the catering company we use and they listen to our suggestions and provide well for any allergies and parental preferences.
