Co-op Childcare Finchfield has a large, busy and modern nursery, complete with an outstanding team who are all committed to meeting your child's development and care needs. Your child will also love being able to take their nursery teddy bears home for the weekend to go on exciting adventures.

The nursery is Green Eco Schools accredited, a programme that sees children make little changes that deliver big environmental differences. They are big on safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained. They use 5 Little Pioneers to help share their core values with children, from encouraging them to be independent to expressing their feelings.

They have a ParentZone app which keeps parents updated on how their little one is getting on at nursery with photos, assessments and even toilet training progress! They have a growing area for food which they also end up eating and have regular visits to a local care home.

Their local history comes to life at Finchfield as their children regularly go on trips to the park near the nursery and visit historic buildings there.

Very pleased with the nursery in general. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. My child is always happy when I pick her up. The regular updates on the app are very helpful to see and monitor how she is getting on during the day. I always feel comfortable discussing any worries I have and nursery
staff are always supportive.

Firstly I would like to thank three members of staff in particular for helping my child settle into nursery, they have made him feel very welcome. Secondly, I would like to thank another two members of staff for settling him into his room and developing wonderful bonds with him. They have helped him
develop more and become more confident in himself. My child loves coming to nursery and is always asking for his keyworker. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends as we have always had a lot of positives with my child being in this nursery. All staff are friendly and positive.

The staff at this nursery are excellent, very attentive and take an interest in children's care and development. Our son's key worker also gave thorough, constructive and detailed feedback on our child's day at nursery. Our son has flourished since his time at this nursery and has grown in confidence.

My twins have been going here for nearly a year now.
They were lockdown babies/toddlers, so we're very shy around new people and very attached to me. I was so nervous about sending them to a nursery.
The nursery has been amazing to the 3 of us, putting my mind at rest and bringing my children out
of their shells.
They are doing very well developmentally and have gained confidence during their time here.
They've recently moved down into Preschool, and the transition went smoother than I expected.
The staff in the rooms and in the office have all been very helpful and supportive with any issues we have been dealing with at home.
I couldn't recommend this nursery more, my children are happy and safe and enjoy their time here.

My son has been attending the nursery since April 2020. He has gone from the baby room all the way through to preschool. He has come on so much and I really do believe this is due to the dedication of the outstanding staff the nursery has. They go above and beyond always. My son has always enjoyed attending
nursery so it will be sad when he moves in September to start reception but we can not thank the staff enough for the hard work and care they put in.

My daughter turned 2 at the beginning of March this year. After a couple of visits, we were more than happy with this being our chosen nursery. We got the classroom of our choice and the days and times we wanted to send our little girl. Today, was the 3rd day of settling her in, the whole process was
explained from the off. Everyone really made her feel welcome and I did too. Being a full-time mum, everyone was telling me to be ready for a crying baby when I have to leave, I told them, it will be me crying not my girl and I was right. Today, I was to leave her for an hour, when we got to the classroom, she let me take off her hat and went straight to the room manager and gave a cuddle, let her take her coat off, and off she went to play. Didn't even look back at me. I'm so glad she loves it, and that's because of the team and staff making her welcome. Next week she starts properly and I'm praying for the same enthusiasm from her moving forwards. Thank you again.

My experience with this nursery stems from approx 6 years. My daughter is now 8yrs old and we still attend to collect my nephews that are in pre-school. Over the years the standard of care and evidence of an excellent learning environment has excelled. I continue to recommend this nursery as I feel
that the staff thrive on providing experiences that bring out the best in every child. The importance of sharing with parents and jointly supporting the children's learning is deemed essential for their growth and I totally agree with this ethos. Our experience enabled my child's (and now my nephew's) primary learning and development to be fun and the foundations of lifelong learning. Thank you to all key workers past and present.

Our son really enjoys attending nursery and we have noticed a big change in his communication and development. His key worker works well with him 1:1 and really makes an effort to understand him as a person and she always tries to push him out of his comfort zone. I would highly recommend this nursery
to anyone that wants a welcoming and safe environment for their child.

My son is in the little creators room and myself and the family have noticed how much he has progressed in his new room. He's such a bright and active young boy and the activities and games carried out in the room challenge him to build his confidence, improve his speech and well being with others and
participating in group activities. The staff have been so caring and supportive with any specific needs in terms of allergies or medical conditions and it's a huge relief knowing my son is in good hands.

My son has really come along since attending Co-op Childcare Finchfield, I was nervous for my son to start nursery but I had nothing to worry about. He loves it and the ladies in the baby room are great. They were even lovely to me when I got upset at drop-off before I went to work. My son always eats
so well at nursery too and I love all of the updates I get on the app.

My child has been at this nursery since 11 months of age. Every member of staff I have encountered has been knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Wonderful environment full of amazing staff, kept very well informed of child's activities and achievements and the app used is great. My child settled in so quickly and has a lovely routine there, still as good as when I sent my eldest eight years ago! Highly recommend.

The staff at this nursery really left a great impression from the start. I was very nervous about leaving my son there but their patience and their settling-in process really made it go smoothly and give both me and my 2-year-old what we needed. My son happily talks about what he gets up to at nursery
and the fun he has outside, as well as enjoys the adventurous menu of meals and snacks provided. My son is happy to be at nursery because of the dedication and friendliness of the staff in the Butterfly room, as well as all staff. Walking around the nursery, everyone is very friendly, there is a very good atmosphere and the learning experiences are well thought out but still allow freedom in the children's choices. The contact is brilliant, using an app that keeps you at the centre and provides targets and tips on how to facilitate these targets. Finally, the health and safety at this nursery are the best I found and was why I felt so settled leaving my son there, they have covered all areas.

My son started nursery here back in 2020, I was nervous about sending him to a nursery but as maternity leave was finishing I had to find a solution.
My son, now in preschool, has come on leaps and bounds. He is adventurous, creative and loves to question everything. He also loves to talk, going to
nursery and interacting with his peers and staff has expanded his vocabulary. He loves being able to learn inside and outside.
Staff at the nursery are always around to help. Every question you have someone can answer.
They allow your child to be who they are, build their character and confidence.
They communicate throughout the day via an app which is great to see what they've been up to and meals etc.
After speaking with friends with children at different nurseries, they always seem to be impressed by what this nursery offers in comparison.

Little Pioneers is a lovely nursery, a wonderful, warm and relaxing atmosphere for the children.
It has been important for my child's development, at first she struggled with the transition of going to nursery but then she settled well and is very happy to go.
The nursery staff have been very enthusiastic
and determined to help my child meet her individual goals and she has come a very long way.
I feel very happy, thankful and confident with the staff's abilities and achievements and they work hard in making the nursery an educational, fun and fruitful experience for all the children that attend. Well done to everyone.
