Co-op Childcare Finchfield has a large, busy and modern nursery, complete with an outstanding team who are all committed to meeting your child's development and care needs. Your child will also love being able to take their nursery teddy bears home for the weekend to go on exciting adventures.

The nursery is Green Eco Schools accredited, a programme that sees children make little changes that deliver big environmental differences. They are big on safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained. They use 5 Little Pioneers to help share their core values with children, from encouraging them to be independent to expressing their feelings.

They have a ParentZone app which keeps parents updated on how their little one is getting on at nursery with photos, assessments and even toilet training progress! They have a growing area for food which they also end up eating and have regular visits to a local care home.

Their local history comes to life at Finchfield as their children regularly go on trips to the park near the nursery and visit historic buildings there.

Our daughter has been at Co-op Childcare Finchfield since January 2022 (she started soon after her 1st birthday). The family atmosphere and attentive nature of the staff drew us to the nursery and we felt that this was the perfect environment for us. All of the staff that have had a hand in looking
after our daughter are genuinely caring and invested in her development. Our daughter loves attending nursery; we have seen her grow in confidence in a number of areas and this is directly attributable to the wonderful staff who are providing a stimulating, playful and nurturing environment. We are given a weekly update about what the children have been doing and a monthly report specifically related to our daughter and her development. There is a mix of play both inside and outside. Thank you to the wonderful team at Co-op Finchfield who have continued to provide care and kindness through varying challenges such as extreme heat and childhood illnesses. This a brilliant nursery.

My daughter has recently started attending Co-op Childcare Finchfield. We have had a lovely welcome, staff have given all relevant information on induction and are always happy to discuss any questions and concerns we, as parents, may have had. The staff in her room are lovely and we can see our daughter
has settled in well, she's happy and very content. I love the regular updates we get on the app, helps give us reassurance. Verbal feedback given at the end of the day is also good. In terms of learning, already we can see a difference in her communication which is coming on great. There's a variety of resources we have seen in the rooms and outdoors which is lovely to see.

Day in and day out, very great communication about my child. My child is a fussy eater but the key worker always tries to make my child try new things like I want. Co-op Childcare is really welcoming and friendly, always very helpful.

Practitioners are always friendly and helpful. They keep me up to date of my child through the app which is really helpful. Excellent nursery! They provide feedback on how my child is progressing and set targets for where my child should be.

My experience from my child's journey since he was 12 months has been exceptional. Staff have been very friendly, caring and patient with my son's nursery journey.
I would definitely recommend the nursery to other parents.
The nursery tailors to individual child's needs and supports parents' queries.
The staff support my child's educational and developmental needs as he grows.

My son has really settled into Little Pioneers. He is very happy here. He has formed a special bond with all the staff and has made some lovely friends. My son is extremely happy at Little Pioneers. He has formed lovely bonds with the staff, who are all very caring.
The daily activities are fun and excellent and the children also have some free play.
The standard of the food is excellent with a good variety provided, all cooked on site.

I am extremely happy with this facility my daughter loved coming her for five days a week. It's nice to not worry about her when I have to be at work all week. She is learning so many new things all the time, which is lovely to see. My son also attended here and we had the same experience.

Both of my children have has and continue to have an amazing experience at nursery. Both of our children love spending time with the staff as they have all made such a positive impact on both of our boys. Our eldest will ask which staff are at nursery and he looks forward to spending time with them.
They are all great at loving, comforting and reassuring the children.

I am very pleased with the nursery; they have always been very helpful and kind. I have two children at the nursery who are settled and very happy. Any needs have always been met, especially having a baby with a dairy intolerance. I would highly recommend this nursery.
