Kids Planet Springhead provides the highest standard of nursery care and education for children aged three months to five-years-old. In February 2016 the nursery was awarded Ofsted Outstanding.

The nursery is located on Cooper Street and is readily accessible from Lees, Saddleworth and Mossley. It is also within easy reach of Oldham and Tameside.

Children are the primary focus and the nursery has been developed to provide each of the different age groups with separate areas that have stimulating colours running throughout, creating areas for children to explore and discover through play.

Our little girl attends this nursery and from day one they have made us as a family feel comfortable and welcome, the staff are soo lovely and dedicated to providing the best care!, it took a few weeks for our little girl to settle in but now she is super excited to go to nursery and see her friends
and key worker! Who she absolutely adores!
Absolutely fantastic nursery and I would highly reccomend them to anyone in the area!

Our little girl recently started at Kids Planet and it's been the best thing for her. The staff are on the ball and positive and engage with us keeping us up to date every step of the way. She is quite shy with new people and faces but since she's been coming to Kids Planet she's really grown a lot
as a person and her social skills have come on leaps and bounds, couldn't rate the team here any higher.

We are so happy that our little girl attends this nursery. She has loved it from day one and really enjoys going. She is welcomed by staff and has a great relationship with them. She has come on loads since attending and has learned a lot too. Sometimes it would be nice to receive more updates via the
app but I am also aware of the staff working so hard and being really busy. We are grateful for all of the hard work the staff put in for our child and it makes the process so easy during drop-offs. Thank you.

I have been so pleased with my choice to send my little boy to Kids Planet in Springhead.
Initially, the thought of sending him to any nursery terrified me. However, my niece who is older than my little boy attended here and had an incredible experience which was the reason we chose to choose Kids
Planet.
The settling-in process has been brilliant for my little boy and us as parents also. The staff are incredible and really get to know the children the second they come in for their settling sessions.
The staff really do care about every single child and treat them as though they are their own which was so reassuring for me as a parent. We know that our little boy is being genuinely cared for, looked after and loved whilst he is there which is all I could ever ask for.
The communication is amazing and I couldn't have chosen a better nursery for my little boy. One particular member of staff in the baby's room is incredible, I am sure that she is a baby whisperer. We can't thank you all enough.

The staff here are absolutely incredible. They go out of their way to double and triple check things regarding our son's allergies. They are so supportive of the children and make parents feel at ease! Since starting here, he has progressed beyond expectations and they nurture his abilities and creativity
daily.

Excellent nursery. My daughter recently left, but she loved going, and the staff were very good - she always had a smile, every time I took her. She has improved tremendously with her eating and now will eat anything! She has autism and learning difficulties and attended Kids Planet in Springhead for
the last 2 years. All the staff really helped her, and she has improved a lot with her general understanding of the world around her and how to integrate better with other children. She really loved going in, and I can't speak highly enough of this nursery. It is a shame she has now left as again, the local authority has deferred her placement, so she still hasn't got a school. I wish everywhere else was as good as this nursery - then I wouldn't have any complaints. Outstanding, and thanks.

Can not recommend this nursery enough. My little boy moved to this nursery recently and the difference in him is amazing.
He's so happy and excited to get to nursery. The staff are all lovely and his key worker is super attentive and supportive.
My son has some learning difficulties, but before starting
the nursery had already put things in place to support his development. The difference in him is unbelievable, wish we'd gone here first.

This is my son's third nursery and the only one we have been happy with, right from the start he has loved going and his speech has come on tremendously. He loves all the different activities he can do and we are kept up to date through the day on what he has been doing which is always lovely to see
and puts my mind at ease. The staff are all helpful and genuinely care about all the children’s needs and support their development.

Great place to leave my child. Both children have attended this nursery and loved it.
The manager and staff are very approachable. My child enjoys coming to nursery, he is very active and busy. Kids Planet meets his needs perfectly.
He comes home a very tired boy.
I wouldn’t go anywhere else and

My little boy started in the baby room in June. I was a little bit anxious about leaving him and going back to work, but everyone made us feel so welcome and settled. I was really reassured that he would be ok, which he was. The updates on the app are always up to date and it’s brilliant to see what
he is up too. He absolutely loves going to nursery. He’s excited from the moment we get out the car and so happy when I collect him. The activities he joins in with are fantastic and there are so many opportunities for him. The staff are amazing and so lovely with myself and my little boy. I couldn’t recommend Kids Planet Springhead enough!

The staff are friendly and very caring. Communication is great, the app allows me to see how my child is doing and what activities they have done and what they've eaten. Entry is secure. I've had two children attend this setting and both have settled well and flourished there. Would recommend to anyone!

This is my daughter's second week in nursery. We are really happy with the provision. She is full of smiles on collection and the nursery keep us updated on her throughout the day. The nursery have been very supportive in our dietary choices for her also.

My little boy attends this nursery in the toddler room. He has additional needs that include an extremely restricted diet and nursery have been very understanding of this and supported me and my little boy, from completing referrals for us to encouraging him to sit with his peers at mealtimes and engage
in activities he wouldn’t usually using his special interest. The girls in the rooms have always been fab from babies to toddlers, they are all so friendly and supportive. The SENCo and the manager are also fantastic and can’t do enough for us, holding multi-agency meetings even during their time off work. He enjoys his time here and is always happy to attend. I am so grateful for everything they are doing to help and support my son.

Our little boy has been with this nursery for nearly two years now and he loves it here. The staff are brilliant and will always try to accommodate requests and his little quirks! They were a big help during potty training and getting him to sleep especially.
They regularly update us through the app
and have loads of fun things going on. The meals are varied, healthy and great and staff encourage him to eat things he refuses (like fruit).
It's always hard at first leaving your child with strangers but the babies team helped him (and us) settle in really well, and now he's in toddlers he loves it there too. Would recommend this nursery 100%.

My daughter has been at this nursery for a year now and my husband and I couldn't be happier with it. The staff are all, without fail or exception, warm and friendly, patient and kind. They all seem genuinely concerned for our daughter's wellbeing and happy to see/look after her. The activities are
delightful, she is learning so much and building on what we teach her at home. She is happy to go in and delights in being with the staff. It's a lovely building, thoughtfully designed to suit the children and the outdoor areas are excellent. There is so much to stimulate the children's minds, inside and out, and they go out in all weathers, which we also like.
We find the fees, and what is provided for them, really good value for money. The times they are open are very convenient for full-time working parents, and the parent app is diligently updated throughout the day with meals eaten, nappies changed and photos of our little girl enjoying herself.
I recommend this nursery to everyone.

This nursery is fantastic, with great teachers, very kind and caring towards the children. My daughter loves coming here and will be sad to leave in September. My daughter also loves the food.
