Always feel very confident dropping off both our children at Streatham House Nursery.
The staff throughout the whole organisation are caring, personable and go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable in the knowledge your children are not only safe and happy but developing in the best way possible.

My son had a hit and miss month whilst dropping him off
Some days he runs straight in, others he cries and is forced in.
But last week, I came to get him and caught him playing in the outside area - happy as Larry. When he has seen me, he put on his fake crocodile tears, again reassuring to know
his tears are just because he’s an aspiring actor.
All the staff are very thorough when telling me about his day, and the green book is fantastic.
The log is amazing as well. I and my wife love getting the notifications of him having fun - recently don't always get an update though.

We moved back to the area from London in April, and the staff of Streatham were so helpful in getting my daughter settled. She had been in a nursery from 8-months-old in London, so changing nurseries just before her 2nd birthday was a bit of an upheaval for her. The team were just wonderful in her first
room and really helped her find her feet in a new environment.
Now she has moved up to the Robin's Explorers room; she is really coming into her own at the nursery. She is making friends and loves the staff members, especially one lady.
The changes that are being made in the nursery are wonderful. Being able to see what she gets up to on the app is fabulous, and how it relates to EYFS is excellent.

We have been really impressed with every member of staff and the quality of care provided. There is a good range of activities too. Our little boy is very happy at the nursery, and we think that says it all!

Our child has always been happy coming to nursery. She has been settled, and the staff obviously care about all the children. Where possible, staff and rooms are consistent, which helps a great deal. Activities are engaging for the children. During Covid, we have always felt that our child is safe due
to the nursery setup. We are kept informed of any changes promptly.

I’ve really enjoyed the increased interaction, images and stories shared via the app. Our child’s key worker has been so helpful with supporting/encouraging positive behaviours, which we are trying to implement at home too.

I could fill the 1000 characters in the description of the service we've received ten times over with no trouble. We've removed our youngest child from the care of the nursery due to a plethora of issues.
The recent decline of the nursery has been very saddening to experience.

My son has been coming to this nursery for a few months after transferring from another nursery school in the area, my son has difficulty with his speech and this nursery school has done wonders for him, the staff here are very nice and approachable. I would recommend Streatham to anyone in the Crosby
area, the staff work closely with external support such as speech therapists, in particular, two support staff members have been fantastic with our son and have been instrumental in helping him become prepared for primary school.

Our daughter has been at Streatham House Nursery for two years now and we have found the nursery very accommodating and flexible throughout the whole time. She is very settled and happy which provides us with confidence in our choice. We are beyond happy with how she is learning and progressing. There
is a wide variety of activities - yoga and Spanish are her favourite ones!

My son started at Streatham House Nursery when we moved into the area and from day one we have been happy with our choice. All staff are friendly, attentive and nothing is too much trouble. He has a great bond with his key career and we are always kept up to date with the activities he has been involved
in through the Tapestry app and his book. He did have a period of getting upset when being dropped off but all of the staff made sure that he was reassured and would distract him as we left, and we were assured when picking him up that he quickly settled. We all thoroughly enjoyed the fireworks display they hosted along with the other events- Easter bonnet parade, sports day and Christmas plays.
We are so happy with Streatham House we have already started our youngest in the baby room. I’m sure he will be as happy at Streatham House Nursery as his big brother is.

The staff are all very welcoming and friendly to both parents and children alike. The nursery is very flexible and accommodating which is handy if something unavoidable happens. My daughter loves going to the nursery and I have been able to see how she has progressed with regular feedback from staff.

My baby has been coming to this nursery for just over a year, he started in baby room and straight away the staff made me feel happy to leave my child for the first time knowing that he will be well taken care of and happy. My child loves to come into nursery and runs in with a smile on his face.
They
keep his book up to date and using Tapestry I can look back on his day and feel like I am a part of this journey too.
I feel the outdoor area is stimulating and he has plenty to do to keep him physically active. When I come into his room the staff are always happy and approachable.

I love that the nursery classes are relatively small in comparison to other local nurseries. I feel comfortable leaving my daughter in the hands of the staff at Streatham, who have been patient and supportive.


My daughter is happy at nursery, looks forward to going in and loves all of the fun activities

like baby Yoga, playing outside and making things to take home.

Staff are very friendly and welcoming for children and parents. They take an interest in my child’s likes and dislikes and they develop connections with the children through the key carer system. I feel my child is safe and well looked after in the nursery and loved by all staff, his development has
improved since attending and his eating habits also. They are very accommodating for all needs and any issues or concerns are dealt with quickly. My son has a great bond with his key career and enjoys attending which at the end of the day is most important.
