Our child is very happy at the Nursery and looks forward to going everyday. The staff promote self esteem in their children and the results are terrific. He is now very confident with painting, singing and playing with other children.

We moved from Exeter in Summer and I was so worried for my 2 years old little girl in her new setting. Caring and kind staff made this transition so easy for all of us and now I drop my girl every morning with a big smile on her face.

My son has been attending the nursery since Sep 2014 and I am very pleased with the nursery. The nursery administration is very supportive and completely involved in the welfare and needs of the child. The nursery setting is very good and my son enjoys a lot of activities, esp. the walks in the wood
and outdoor play. The teachers are very caring and personally look after the needs of my son. I would highly recommend Sandleford nursery and wished had found it sooner :)

My son has has been going to Sandleford part time since Sept 2014. He has food intolerances and is an extremely willful child. His key worker has been amazing with him. He settled in really well and is very happy there. He is going full time as soon as the days become available.

My son has been attending Sandleford nursery for 7 months. The caring staff helped him to settle in over the forthcoming weeks and since then we have watched him flourish. His confidence and speech have improved remarkably. We have been very impressed with the variety of activities and the friendliness,
kindness and professionalism of the staff.

My daughter has attended the nursery since September. She took some time to settle, but the staff were brilliant at helping her to and she now thoroughly enjoys the time she spends there. She constantly chats at home about her friends and the members of staff. The facilities are excellent and she particularly
enjoys music and story time with the school librarian. Being part of a larger school means the nursery has access to not only to school members of staff and the facilities, but also the most wonderful grounds. She has enjoyed digging up carrots from the nursery vegetable patch and turning these into soup as well as visiting the school chickens. I would high recommend this nursery.

My two children aged 2.5 years and 12 months have been attending Sandleford for three months and they couldn't be happier there. My daughter happily skips in every time she attends and dotes on the staff that look after her. As hard as it is for a Mum to leave her children at nursery, I feel reassured
that the staff genuinely care for my children and ensure they are happy and well entertained throughout the day.


The physical nursery itself is lovely, the rooms are large, light and airy with easy access to the lovely garden. There are opportunities for the children to explore the grounds beyond the confines of the nursery and often are taken out for walks to see the chickens and play in the fields.


One of the advantages of being part of a larger school is that the children have access to a whole range of facilities. There are lessons in the music room, story time with the librarian and specialist French, Music and PE teachers who come in to take lessons.


I feel that both my children are thriving at Sandleford and it is wonderful to see them developing so beautifully.

We are thrilled with Sandleford Nursery. Our little girl loves going and is incredibly happy there. The staff are wonderfully - caring, enthusiastic and very patient and our little girl has come on in leaps and bounds being around other children in such a fun and stimulating environment which has clearly
had lots of time and thought put into it . The outdoor space and land around the nursery is amazing and just what we were after, giving the children lots of opportunities to play outside. The nursery is always spotlessly clean and the range of meals the children are given is brilliant. We have been really pleased so far and feel we've made the right choice sending our daughter here.
