We could not be happier at Busy Bees Lewisham. Our son has always been happy to go in every day and always seems to be doing fun activities. The staff have been brilliant, they really care for the children in their charge and it is obvious in how they treat them. Communication from management has also
been great.

A brilliant nursery that our son has been thriving at for the past three years. The staff are warm and welcoming and always have the children's best interests at heart. They organise fantastic learning activities and arrange plenty of outdoor play. We've been so happy with Busy Bees Lewisham that we
have also enrolled our younger child there to start in the new year.

Our daughter started going to Busy Bees when she was 10 months old. She loved it instantly.
We did a lot of research before choosing the right nursery and everybody kept telling us that Busy Bees Lewisham was special because of the staff. They couldn't be more right. Staff are caring, professional,
present, fun, supportive.
Our daughter established a wonderful relationship with her key person from the very beginning and it's been great watching her developing, growing up, making friends in such a lovely environment.
You can tell from her smile in the morning and her smile in the afternoon how much she loves going there.
The in-house chef is another plus.
I will be forever grateful to Busy Bees Lewisham which feels like a second family to us.

When I enrolled my daughter into the nursery, it was a big change for her, and she's not a fan of changes. She started having some trouble adjusting. But after a few months, the staff at the nursery really stepped up and encouraged her in the right way. I've noticed so many positive changes in her
since then. She's improved a lot in her learning, like going from not being able to write the alphabet to now writing letters on her own. It's truly a wonderful nursery with exceptional staff. Oh, and the food options are fantastic too.

Our son loves Busy Bees and has been very happy here. We feel he is well looked after and all the staff have a genuine warmth and affection for the children. Children are really prepared well for school and our son has learnt the alphabet, phonics and numbers. He has also had an immense amount of fun
and made a lot of lovely friends here. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this nursery.

Our daughter has been at Busy Bees Lewisham for almost a year - since she was six months old. The staff has always been wonderful, making us feel reassured and confident from the start, as she began attending at a pretty young age, and I was quite nervous about it. Her key persons love her as their
own, and so does she - I know she's in good hands. We have loved watching her enjoy herself, grow and develop new skills during her time at Busy Bees so far, and are so thankful to the entire team for their care and dedication.

We moved our daughter to Busy Bees from another nursery that hiked their fees up last year. We were nervous that she would struggle to settle in as she was only, 1 and had started to make strong connections to her previous key worker. How wrong we were.
The staff at Busy Bees Lewisham are absolutely
brilliant. They are child-focused and all take the time to make special bonds with the children. At the end of the day we always get a thorough update of how she has been and what she’s been doing so we feel very in the loop.
Every morning when we drop her off she runs down the hall to the classroom laughing away, so clearly happy and excited to start another day. She adores the staff there and runs to them with open arms (usually forgetting to say bye to me or her dad). She has come on leaps and bounds in such a short space of time. Her speech, relationships, and general awareness have developed massively.
I couldn’t recommend this nursery more.

Our little boy (now 2) has attended Busy Bees Lewisham full time since being 8 months old and has loved it from day 1! He eats well, sleeps well, and has lots of fun with his friends at nursery.
We trust the staff has his wellbeing to heart. He’s grown and developed so much since joining and it’s

My daughter has been going to Busy Bees at Lewisham since her first year. The settling-in sessions were perfectly adjusted according to my baby's needs. She is now a toddler who started talking about her friends there and the staff who take care of her. I feel she is happy, and safe and has started

I am so happy that I chose Busy Bees Lewisham for my daughter. When she joined the baby room, the staff were very supportive of the transition meaning she settled in really well. They helped maintain naps and feeding schedules/weaning choices we had in place at home. She has moved up through the rooms
and is now in preschool. All the staff have been so amazing and caring towards my daughter and she comes home speaking about them fondly and even naming her toys after them. Her development across the early years strands is evident and more importantly, she comes home happy and I could not ask for more. If I ever have more children, Busy Bees Lewisham will be at the top of my list!

We have been doing the settling-in sessions before my son joins, and I am just so impressed with the process and how lovely and welcoming everyone has been. I was slightly anxious about him starting nursery as he can get overwhelmed easily, but I needn’t be as the team have been really great at making
sure my son and I are comfortable and happy. It’s been a much better experience than anticipated, and I know he’s in good hands.

My name is Deniz Goordyal and I am the Centre Director of Lewisham nursery.


I have worked in Early Years since 1989 and have two children of my own. I have worked at Busy Bees since 2003 first as a Manager at the Greenwich branch and then as a Regional Director for the London Region then returning to managing at the Lewisham branch in 2016. I have come back to my roots as my childcare career began in the London Borough of Lewisham, working in Deptford and the surrounding areas. I hold the BTEC National Diploma in Childcare and a Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification. Childcare is my passion and I love to have fun with children. I am creative and like to dance and play games and challenge children's thinking. I have lots of other interests which include travelling, pampering myself and eating out gardening and walking!
