St. George's Nursery (Narborough) has built up a fine local reputation for childcare, dedicated to a happy and safe learning journey through the early years.

The nursery is part of St. George’s Nursery group, a family-run business that was founded in 1994. The founders wanted to create better childcare for their own children than was then available, and the company has since grown to have sites in Meridian Business Park, Aylestone, Enderby, Narborough, Oadby & Sherwood (Nottingham).

Our daughter absolutely loves St George's Narborough. She has built such a lovely relationship with the staff and other children, which makes us so happy and reassured as parents. We can see she's happy to go when we drop off and pick her up.
She's involved in different activities every day, and I
also like that they go outside often for fresh air and play. She eats a really well-balanced food at meal times.
We get regular updates daily on the app on what they have been up to and also tracking development which is coming along great. Her social interaction is amazing, and this is also due to her time at nursery and being with other children.

Amazing staff who are so attentive to the needs of the children in their care. Good updates throughout the day on the app, and the food menu has seasonal variety.

St George's Nursery is a fantastic nursery! The nursery constantly keeps us updated, including activities, meals, nap times etc. They have a lovely outdoor area, and also really great facilities indoors too. They are always doing new and interesting activities with the children that help the children
to grow and develop.

My little boy absolutely loves coming to nursery. The staff are amazing, and I genuinely believe they are giving him a great foundation for when he starts school. Can't fault anything. I would highly recommend St George's Nursery.

If you are searching for a lovely place for your little one, look no further! Our family has just relocated from Germany, and we were overwhelmed with all the new things here in the UK, not to mention our never-ending "to-do" list. The nursery manager replied to my meeting request promptly and offered
a site-tour tour immediately. Not only did she provide all of the essential information, but her warm personality and enthusiasm for her work clearly shined through. Everyone I met had a nice word and was in a great mood. The facilities are great, and the outside play areas are a huge bonus. The first intro days went much better than anticipated, and even though my daughter does not speak much English, she was always jolly when I picked her up. Our teachers are fantastic - they pay attention to the smallest details and always explain in depth what the group is up to that day. I am really happy we found St George's and thankful for their loving care!

This nursery is amazing, and I would recommend it to anyone. My daughter has just started her second year with St George's and has progressed so well and loves the staff. My son has also started this year, and he loves it already. The staff are very friendly and really get to know the children, and
the children seem to adore them.

We were moving house, which meant we needed to change nurseries for our two boys. We attended a visit in August and decided to take our children with us. I was a little nervous about my 3-year-old settling; however, during the visit, the staff were so amazing, they got my child involved straight away,
and my worries disappeared! My 17-month-old was also loving what would potentially be his new room.
Fast forward four weeks and the boys have settled in so well! They actually cheer as we pull into the car park, which is so lovely to hear and see!
We get a detailed handover at every collection about their day, and the app that the nursery uses is great for having a little check to see what they've been up to.
So pleased with our decision!

We moved from another nursery and are really pleased with how our daughter has settled in. Having artwork to bring home regularly and lots of communication about activities taking place in the nursery. I was anxious knowing I was returning to work, but happy with my nursery choice from the start. From being shown around the nursery, the settling in sessions and our daughter's first day, I felt we were in good hands, and we'd made the best choice, and I was right. It's not been long, but we can tell
our daughter enjoys it, and the staff keep us updated with what she eats and how she sleeps etc. I love the baby room - feels like home from home, and the food sounds delicious. I'm excited for my daughter to have so many experiences there and bond with the staff.

The nursery has always been fantastic, and I have been sending my children there for over 6-years. The staff are warm, welcoming, and nothing is ever too much of a problem. The menu is incredible, and children are offered a wide variety of healthy foods to try. They also advocate healthy eating, and
my son recently was super excited about making a smoothie for us all to try! The days are structured, and lots of learning is always taking place to ensure the children are stimulated and motivated.

My daughter started at St George’s this January, following the footsteps of her older brother, who left for school back in 2019. It’s been brilliant to see the staff again and have the same people look after her; they remember her brother so well, and that’s a real testament to how much they invest
in the children. I’m sure she’ll be as happy in their care as her brother.

I can’t rate this nursery enough! My little boy has come along so much since starting in July 2021. He has built amazing relationships with the staff, and I feel so comfortable knowing that he is well looked after. I love that I can see what he has been up to throughout the day on their app, and he
is always doing a range of activities as well as enjoying varied and nutritional meals. 100% recommend!

Was really nervous about putting my daughter into a nursery. With her being a lockdown baby, she really needed it but really didn’t know what to expect with all the new rules and regs. I’m just so thankful that all the staff were so warming and welcoming. Oh, and of course, helpful being my first child,
I have no idea how the whole nursery thing works! So, thank you, for everything ladies, I think my daughter has settled in ok, apart from her morning meltdowns, which she soon overcomes with a few cuddles from her key worker’s.

Our son loves going, loves the staff, and doesn't look back at drop off, just toddles in to see what's for breakfast!
He started during Covid restrictions, and the staff were so helpful and supportive in making him, and us, feel comfortable and confident with him being there - and they still do - despite
the strange times.
We get really good handovers, and the app they use is great. It's so lovely to get updates and photos of his day and really makes us feel connected to what happens whilst he is away from us. It also helps inspire us for activities to do with him, building on what he is showing interest in.
I'm so pleased we chose St George's for him!

My daughter absolutely loves attending this setting. It didn't take her long to settle in - having not been left with anyone as a result of Covid lockdowns, I had been nervous about this. But the staff were friendly, professional, and helped my daughter to feel confident and safe. The setting provides
so many learning opportunities, and this is evident in all of the new skills that my daughter now demonstrates at home. I highly recommend this nursery as a safe, positive and stimulating environment for children.

Our daughter started at the nursery at 21-months-old, having been a lockdown baby. We were very nervous about how she'd cope with being left for the first time, but we had no need to worry. The staff were extremely reassuring and have looked after our daughter so well. She seems very excited to go into
the nursery and is always smiling when we collect her. Her speech has come on no end since she started, and the staff always tell us about her babbling/speech, so we know how she's doing when she's away from us. It's a lovely nursery with lovely staff, and we feel that they really care for our little girl.

I absolutely love this nursery. From the first settling in day to date, all the staff at St George’s Narborough have been fantastic with my daughter and keeping me updated on how she is doing etc. The staff are so helpful and jolly; that my daughter loves to go each morning, no tears going or being
picked up just smiles. I wouldn’t put my daughter anywhere else but here and would recommend this nursery to my friends.

I have worked in the childcare sector for almost 20 years now, I have worked with a range of ages from babies to preschool and in various countries. I had the pleasure of opening St George's Nursery- Narborough in 2014. I hold a Level 4 Certificate in Early Years, Care, & Education. I enjoy working with St George's because I am surrounded by a fantastic team and given the opportunity to care for many wonderful families over the years.
