Banana Moon Day Nursery Altrincham, is a family-run, home away from home for all children.

With a background in education for over 20 years and now early years teacher, the ethos is that learning happens every day, for everyone. This is echoed throughout the nursery where children are at the heart of what Banana Moon do.

The nursery loves hearing children engaging in a variety of activities, making friends, developing and growing as confident, creative and well-equipped individuals whatever age they are, ready for their next steps in education and beyond.

The nursery has been recently fully renovated providing children with more open-ended play areas, natural light, offering opportunities for them to engage in both indoor and outdoor play as freely as possible.

They offer funded entitlement places for children aged 9 months + 2, 3, and 4-year-olds as well as term time only places.

What’s included:

•        Healthy breakfast of cereals and toast or crumpets
•        2 hot meals prepared fresh on-site daily by the in-house chef
•        Healthy morning and afternoon snacks daily
•        Health & safety and security measures in place such as biometric fingerprint access

Our 3-year-old son really enjoyed his time at Banana Moon Day Nursery. The staff are caring and attentive and he settled in really quickly. Our son always came out of nursery very happy and excited about the fun day he’d had. The staff put lots of effort into the children celebrating Christmas and Halloween
by creating lots of activities and doing a Halloween stay and play which our son loved. We also thought it was great how much the staff valued outdoor time for the children - especially because our son loves playing outside! We would highly recommend Banana Moon.

My little boy has been at Banana Moon coming up to 2 years after joining just before he was 1. We are thrilled with his development and his character over the time he has been going which I believe is helped to be brought out by the staff at the nursery. He enjoys attending and playing and learning
with his friends and telling us about his day each day he comes home. I feel we have a great relationship with all the staff at Banana Moon and have felt supported whenever we have needed additional advice, especially most recently with potty training! We are more than happy with all aspects of the nursery and are so pleased our little boy loves it too!

I moved my daughter here from 1 year old after a bad experience with another nursery.
Key things I liked were that they have several settings available over three floors and a brilliant and varied outdoor area. They have home-cooked food (great as I hate cooking at home!), and they have a clear development
programme for your child based on their age. The app was also a good plus point.
My child has been there for a year now and absolutely loves it. She loves her carers like family and often talks about them at home. She sings songs from nursery all day long, talks about her friends and consistently surprises me with new knowledge she must have learnt from nursery. I also love how they instil good behaviours in her just as I would do at home rather than coming home with bad behaviours, as I know some parents struggle with in other nurseries.
The staff there are on the ball with her development, always giving me an update when I pick her up and great top tips to take home with us. Great nursery!

Our older child attended Banana Moon Altrincham 6 years ago and when our second one was born we didn’t think long which nursery to choose. Nursery facilities remain top quality in all areas, are constantly developed, spotlessly clean and tailored to different age child needs. We also like that unlike
in other nurseries, kids are getting freshly cooked food and not catered by 3rd party.
Unfortunately, there were some ups and downs during the past few years due to staff changes, but since having a new nursery manager the situation has become drastically better. We could see significant improvements and our child is really happy here. I would strongly recommend Banana Moon looking for friendly quality childcare for their kids.

My daughter has been at Banana Moon in Altrincham for over 1 year now. I have been so pleased with her confidence and progress. She was a COVID baby, so very introverted and shy, but the staff have brought her out of her shell.


She is so happy when she comes home and we have been so happy with the

nursery.


The hours are also so handy - 0730 to 1830 - which is hard to find.

My daughter has been going to Banana Moon for the last year and a half and she loves it! All the staff are amazing with her and the daily updates I get on the app give me peace of mind while I'm at work. All the staff are lovely and friendly, they are there straight away if we need anything. Also, the
help and support we have received for my daughter's speech referral and ongoing support has been exceptional! The rooms and garden have just all been redone to an amazing standard! I honestly wouldn't want my daughter to go anywhere else.

I can't recommend Banana Moon enough. My little boy has been going for just over a year now and he absolutely loves it, his friends there and all of the staff.
When he first started at Banana Moon the staff identified that his speech was a little behind for his age and carried out extra work with him.
Now people always comment on how developed his speech is.
Now that restrictions have been lifted, they have begun trips out again, which my little boy has really enjoyed and the app makes it so easy to keep up to date with everything they have been up to. The app is also brilliant on a day-to-day basis for communicating with the nursery and being updated as to naps/food/toilet training each day which is great.
The menu is also great, my little boy eats so many different meals that he just would never try at home for us.
Finally, the outside space is fab. Loads for the kids to play with/on/in and they have loads of outdoor playtime!

I had my son in Banana Moon from when he was 2 years old and he was always so well looked after. Regular updates on the app daily and he always came home really happy. The staff are super supportive and helpful, I can 100% trust my son is in a good environment whilst I’m working and have no worries!

Our daughter attended Banana Moon and I would recommend the nursery to anyone looking in the area. The nursery workers and the management are excellent and helped with her development come on leaps and bounds.
Banana moon were very good accommodating our needs to change from afternoons to mornings
and then to full days which worked great for us.
Having the app is great so we could keep updated throughout the day what activities they had been doing and if they had eaten breakfast, lunch, and afternoon meals.
It was also great that they kept us up to date with the books and activities they were doing through themed days and updated on parent’s days so we could continue the learning when our daughter was home.

We moved our daughter here after a negative experience at another nursery.
The management team and our key worker spent the time to get to understand what we wanted going forward and have delivered what was promised.
The experience has really been like night and day, the level and variety of activities,
the care provided and the communication have all been really good.
The food provided is varied and nutritious - daughter even gets to choose her own healthy snacks.
A good amount of time and effort must go into planning some of the days/themes and often there's an educational side linked to the activities which are really nice to see.
We've been very happy with our choice to move here.

Banana Moon is a fantastic nursery for my first child. They are friendly, professional and flexible. As a teacher, I was really attracted to the fact I could get a term time only place and they have been really supportive ensuring that any extra days are always accommodated. My son absolutely loves

My Daughter has been going to Banna Moon nursery for a period of 6 months. She started off in Babymoons and now moved up into Teeniemoons. I can't thank the nursery enough for how my daughter has progressed. As every parent knows it is hard to let your child go, and spend time in a nursery and with
new people and unknown surroundings. Banana Moon has been fantastic and very supportive. My daughter had a very strong bond with her keyworker when in Babymoons which was amazing to see and witness. Now she has moved up into Teenie moons, she has developed another great bond with her new keyworker. This makes me proud as a parent and most of all happy my child is in good hands. I would just like to say a BIG thank you to the team at Banna Moon and everybody involved.

My daughter only goes 2 afternoons a week but staff helped her to settle in very quickly and she loves going to nursery. I was a bit nervous about putting her into nursery after being home with just me during lockdown but it is one of the best decisions I ever made. She has made lots of new friends,
is really sociable and I can see her learning and developing every single day.

I couldn't recommend Banana Moon Day Nursery Altrincham enough! We decided after looking at a few nurseries that we wanted to send our daughter to Banana Moon Altrincham in December 2020. From the very day we had a look around the nursery to now 6 months later I only have good things to say about everyone
who works there! They are so caring and put your child's needs and their development above all else. They have been so flexible with accommodating extra hours or days when there has been an emergency and we have had no childcare to fall back on which has been invaluable through some hard times for our family. My daughter had a hard time adjusting to life at nursery as she was already 15 months old however they persevered and did everything they could to help her settle in and start enjoying her journey there. I knew every time I dropped her off that they would do their best to make her happy which they certainly did! Thank you Banana Moon Staff for all you do!

My son has been at Banana Moon for just under a year and is genuinely excited when it’s time to go to Nursery. The nursery has an app to keep parents updated throughout the day which I love. It’s great being able to see photos of my child playing/learning and know exactly what time they’ve eaten, napped
etc. The nursery really feels like a family and I feel safe in sending my child there. All staff members are fantastic and have a genuine interest in the children and helping them grow and learn.

My daughter loves this nursery, it is a very friendly, stimulating and happy place and she loves going in every day. The nursery is very accommodating for extra days/times and is extremely professional. The daily updates throughout the day are also lovely as I can see pictures of my daughter really

My two children, one of them who is special needs are attending this nursery for the last one year. The staff, layout of the nursery and the outdoor space were a perfect match for me to choose Banana Moon Day Nursery Altrincham. The staff has exceeded my expectations at all levels in providing support
to my children and me. They have gone above and beyond in supporting my son with special needs, designing activities to engage him, focusing on his developmental needs, providing me the correct support, dealing with my unending queries, getting him the correct therapeutic support and coordinating and filling endless papers for his school admissions. They focused on phonics and my non verbal son can now make phonic sounds of alphabets and tries to engage in activities. This is remarkable progress. For my daughter, she loves her time at nursery. She has learned proper table manners, hygiene habits and ever going vocabulary at Banana Moon Day Nursery Altrincham. They have always kept me updated with all information.
