The Nuffy Bear Day Nursery provides first class full day care, sessional care and pre-school and caters for children aged between three months and five years. It offers three fully equipped nursery rooms plus a dedicated team of qualified staff who aim to make healthy eating and regular exercise a part of every child's life.

As Nuffy Bear is part of Nuffield Health, predominately a hospital and wellbeing company, the nursery is truly committed to ensuring every child's healthy development. Nuffield Health nutritionists have produced a nutritious menu that provides all the elements to develop a healthy body.

The nursery provides baby massage classes for the under ones, yoga for the over ones, and swimming for the over threes. All these classes are included in the nursery fee. Free childcare (funding) sessions are available at this nursery.

The nursery day can be split into a morning session from 8am to 1pm, afternoon session from 1pm to 6 pm and a full day session from 8am to 6pm. They offer an early drop off session 07:30 - 08:00 and a late pick up session 18:00 - 18.30.

A very inclusive and welcoming nursery.
They really care about the children and their development.
Open the whole of lockdown for key and some essential workers, with excellent covid measures in place.

Nuffy Bear Day Nursery Gloucester is just wonderful! The staff are amazing; they are qualified, caring, engaged and committed to the children they are responsible for. Our son has been with them from 6 months old and is now 2 and a half years old - and he just loves it there. He has learned so much
and this is a testament to the effort the team put in.
My review is that Nuffy Bear Gloucester is excellent in all areas; but a ‘good’ for outdoor space, which they are limited to - but have done the best with what they have and I know the children do love to play outside there.

My son's been attending Nuffy Bear Nursery since he was 3-months-old and it’s very clear to see how much he enjoys it. Seeing how he has developed and learned within the nursery is amazing to see. All the staff are fantastic, and my son has a great bond with them all. He is always happy at drop-off
and pick-up, and I know that he is having fun from start to finish. He always has a wide variety of foods, which I am always made aware of. The nursery helps with his learning and development even from a young age. He is so confident with people and other children, and Nuffy Bear Nursery is to thank with this. Fantastic place and would highly recommend.

Both my daughter and my son attend the nursery and both love it there. The staff are lovely and always happy to attend to all my children’s needs and they have both built special bonds with them!

Such a friendly and welcoming nursery. All staff go out their way to help the children settle in. I feel I have been supported by all the staff when I felt my child was being difficult. The nursery offers great opportunities for the children to develop and its a great peace of mind knowing my child

I chose Nuffy Bear nursery because of how much it values encouraging individuality and a child's ability to discover the world in their own way.


I have been more than impressed with my child's development both socially and practically, the activities that are organised, the feedback provided to myself

as a parent and the consistency between my child and their key worker.


There is also an interest in the child's development, lifestyle, routine and activities outside of nursery which encourages a more fluid approach between nursery and home.

Nuffy Bear, Gloucester is a very friendly place and environment.
We have been very happy with their approach to childcare, the benefits on offer and flexibility on sessions and bookings.


A good bunch of staff and children have a huge access of opportunities.


It's a great feeling knowing that

Nuffy Bear was a new nursery when our daughter started, there were a few teething problems. But now it is fantastic. My favourite thing is now they treat the children as individuals not 'clients'. The nursery has a great set up for all the ages of children it accommodates. Lots of new and current equipment and toys for the children to interact with.
