A brilliant nursery with amazing staff. Our little boy has settled in so well and loves going to nursery to see his friends and the staff. The children are outside playing as much as possible and are constantly given activities to support their learning.

Really happy with how the nursery is and my son enjoys it and brings him out more each time he attends. Couple times my child would come out with a wet coat from water play even though I have put all in one cover and there was a time a guardian had to pick my child up and was 4 minutes late due to
traffic and was made to feel bad for being late and I don't feel it was needed. But over all really happy with the team and how my son is doing there! Would recommend them to others as great team and great at communicating!

Thank you for your feedback. We apologise if your child has come home with a wet coat. This occurs as they wear their coats over water play suits to stay warm during outdoor play in winter. We did not intend to cause any concern to guardians. We remind parents/guardians about late collections due to staffing and ratios, but we understand circumstances may arise. We have enjoyed having your child with us and look forward to watching his progress.

Daisy Fays Carnon Downs is the perfect nursery. The staff are great, and cater for all of my child's needs. They are all very informative, and give a thorough handover at the start and end of each day, which makes me feel 100% comfortable leaving my child in their care. They have taken the time to get
to know my child and her likes/dislikes making it more personal. They have a big garden out the back of the setting for the children to explore and seem to take the children out at every opportunity. There are always different activities set up each week to stimulate the children. They offer healthy foods at every meal time, and I couldn't fault them.

Really nice staff my daughter has learned so much like actions nursery rhymes roll play and speech since she has started and has build up her confidence around others love her doing messy play and she enjoys it to.

My little girl loves going to the baby room and has a big smile on her face at drop off and pick up. Her speech has really developed this term and, at 20 months, she's doing really well at letting everyone know what she wants!

After moving our son to Daisy Fays from another nursery due to his needs (he is neuro-diverse) not being met at that nursery, he is a completely different child. He is back to his usual happy, cheeky, adventurous self and is purely down to work the Manager and the Deputy Manager do with every child.
I cannot fault Daisy Fays or the staff and owe them a lot for helping us get our little boy back to himself again.

Our little one seems to love it and often doesn't want to leave! Staff are always friendly and smiley and little one has a good relationship with them. They are also very Accommodating and communicate well. No issues so far!

A caring and supportive environment for children. The staff are friendly and easy to contact. My child seems to have had fun and enjoys telling me all about his day when he gets home. All his care needs are met.

A lovely nursery with a focus on outside space. My son has grown to love his nursery days at Carnon Downs. He went from a very upset little boy every morning to walking in or hurling himself into the arms of one of his favourite adults this month. I was really worried about sending him to nursery so
young as a first-time mother (he was 14 months) but he's blossomed and adores the interaction and stimuli he gets there. I chose this nursery because of the lovely grassy garden (sadly quite rare amongst other nurseries) and because I knew my son would be picked up, cuddled and looked after by warm, kind, good people. In the end, that's all anyone wants, isn't it? 3 months in and they've exceeded my expectations. Thank you.

The Carnon Downs Nursery team were excellent and really helped my child get ready for school. She particularly loved the outdoor play and it had a homely vibe with the use of slippers inside. We will miss everyone's friendly faces very much.

We have found all the staff to be really helpful and knowledgeable our daughter has only been at nursery for 2 1/2 months and has settled in really well. Our daughter may have additional needs (currently being assessed) and nursery staff have been really helpful in this process and we feel really well
supported by them. I'm sure if our daughter does need some additional help she will be given this by Darnon Downs Nursery.

The staff have made our little girl’s first experience of nursery incredible. Our little girl has settled in so well and absolutely adores the team. Their friendly, engaging and caring approach has made this happen. The facilities are new, fun and interactive. I love the updates we get through the app,

My daughter currently attends Daisy Fays Nursery Carnon Downs and loves it! We recently relocated and were apprehensive about how quickly she would settle into a new nursery but we needn’t have worried. She has settled in so well and that’s thanks to the wonderful team. They do so many fun activities,
get outside whenever possible and have been so supportive.
My daughter always goes to nursery with a smile and comes home excitedly telling us what she’s been doing that day.

My two-and-a-half-year-old daughter has been going to Daisy Fays Nursery Carnon Downs for just over a year and she absolutely loves it! She was upset leaving me at first but very quickly settled in thanks to all the lovely and caring staff. Now she absolutely loves going and gets very excited! She has
a lovely bond with her key worker and looks forward to seeing her each time. They offer such a nice range of activities for the children which she loves getting involved in and they are very good at keeping us up to date with what they get up to through an app. I would highly recommend this nursery, they do a fantastic job and I cannot fault them!

We love Daisy Fays Nursery Carnon Downs! The staff are absolutely brilliant and all of them are approachable! They’re super supportive of the children but also with the parents too! The amount of support they had given me was amazing! I couldn’t say anything bad at all!

Our daughter really struggled at a previous pre-school so we swapped to Daisy Fays.
Best move we made, she has really settled in well due to the care and attention of the team. The team are absolutely lovely and always put us at ease, especially with their updates on how she has settled etc.

Our four-year-old twins have loved attending Daisy Fays since they were one and as they have moved through the nursery the staff in each room have been so warm and caring, but most strikingly, they have actively engaged with their development and always given the impression that they really care for
each of them.
Our children always look forward to going to nursery and are always in a rush to tell us about what they have been doing with their friends each day.
We cannot recommend this nursery highly enough.

My son has just started preschool within the nursery, the transition has been seamless - all credit to the staff. He's settled beautifully. My son never complains or is ever resistant to going to nursery, in fact, I think he prefers his days in nursery to being at home! The staff go above and beyond
to make his days both fun and educational. I cannot rate Daisy Fays Carnon Downs highly enough. Thank you for being awesome!

This was the first nursery we viewed for our 2 year old son and knew immediately that it was perfect. The staff are so caring, professional and genuinely adore all of the children they look after which you can tell when picking up / dropping off. It’s lovely to know what they’ve done each day and to
pick up a very happy child at the end of a busy fun filled day. We’ve noticed such amazing leaps in our son from going to Carnon Downs. Well done to the team you are all amazing!

Job Title: Manager

I am excited to be the new manager of Daisy Fays Carnon Downs after joining the team in Autumn 2023. I studied primary school teaching at university and since graduating a few years ago have worked in a variety of settings with children. I find working with the early years particularly rewarding as the children are constantly picking up new skills and having new experiences. My passion is particularly about involving the outdoors in their learning and providing plenty of opportunities to explore the world around them. In the past I have worked at an environmental children’s camp and in a woodland preschool so I am excited to use these experiences in my work at Daisy Fays.


In my spare time, I am the Ladies Captain for Truro River Rowing Club so you will often find me training for our next gig rowing competition! I love being out on the water with friends in all weathers and getting to go to summer regattas in beautiful locations.

I am the Assistant Manager at Daisy Fays Carnon Downs. My role includes leading the Chirpy Chicks room and I am the settings Senco.


I have worked for Daisy Fays since 2023, training at other settings prior Carnon Downs opening in January 2024. I have 17 years experience in early years settings, starting as an apprentice and working my way up.


I love how rewarding my role is at the beginning of children’s lives and preparing them for the next big adventure. More recently I have bumped into young adults that remembered me looking after them as a child, given me the feeling that I have had some impact on their learning journey.


I have two girls of my own 11 & 12, which means I spend a lot of family days out. We enjoy beach days, paddle boarding, woodland walks with our dog, camping with the whole family and the occasional lazy sofa movie night in.
