Nuffy Bear Day Nursery, located in Tunbridge Wells, is a 2015 addition to the range of this growing and trusted childcare provider.

Staff work closely with parents to ensure their children’s learning needs are met whilst maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Staff form close links with parents to keep them up to date with their needs.

Children's personal, social, physical and creative skills are nurtured through a wide range of educational resources and a variety of fun and stimulating activities.

The nursery benefits from an all-weather garden ensuring plenty of learning can be accessed outside, pre-school children have a unique opportunity to receive free swimming lessons.

The nursery day can be split into sessions. The morning session runs from 8am to 1pm, the afternoon session from 1pm to 6pm and full day sessions are from 8am to 6pm. They offer an early drop off session 07:30 - 08:00 and a late pick up session 18:00 - 18:30.

We joined Nuffy Bear Day Nursery when we moved to the area. Our twins used to scream and cry going to their old nursery but that wasn’t the case here. From the moment they walk in they are greeted with such warmth and friendliness. The room always has brilliant and multiple activities set up for them
to immediately explore and they are allowed to immerse themselves in free, imaginative and outdoor play. They particularly love the French lessons and games in the gym, and the option of swimming lessons when they turn 3 is an added bonus.
The manager and staff are all lovely creating a great atmosphere. As you may tell I couldn’t recommend the nursery more highly.

My son has been at Nuffy Bear Day Nursery, Tunbridge Wells, for 18 months now and we have watched the nursery grow from strength to strength. The manager and her team take so much pride in the school and they genuinely care about each child. They are always on the lookout for new/different games and
activities to inspire the children. They take great care in learning about each child through their focus weeks and centre activities to help each child become their best selves. We are so lucky to have found this nursery and I often recommend the school to friends.

Nuffy Bear has been an amazing day nursery for our son. He is autistic and they are always supportive to us, and especially to my son. He loves coming to the nursery and gets so excited. I love how they cook healthy meals for kids. The staff are very friendly and supportive. Staff have been so amazing
to my son. With the support we get from them we owe them so much. My son is now starting be vocal and we give all our thanks to them for his ongoing development.

Nuffy Bear Day Nursery at Tunbridge Wells has a wonderful atmosphere with warm, friendly, welcoming staff who are easy to talk to and have a great relationship with the children of parents.
The rooms/nursery itself are well organised and clean.
Our little girl is always playing, learning and happy.
She
has developed great communication skills, including some sign language here and there.
Our little girl has a dairy intolerance and the staff cater for these very well....no complaints at all.

My daughter started attending Nuffy Bear Day Nursery over the summer of 2017. I decided to move her out when I moved school for my older one - it meant drop off at one location. I very quickly realised that that was the wrong decision.
My daughter has not once complained of any of her basic needs
being overlooked. I appreciate this can happen when caring for many kids at the same time. But the staff are attentive. I am also quite pedantic about nutrition. I mentioned this to the Manager on the first day, and that I might be picky if diet isn't well balanced. I have had no complaints. I can confirm it's no less healthy compared to the diet I provide at home.
I have decided to stick it out with Nuffy Bear's because it gives me peace of mind. I'm sure other nurseries have far more equipment and higher OFSTED ratings. But what matters most for me is a team of warm, experienced and attentive carers who can make nursery feel like a second home. Thank you for all your hard work and positive attitude!

I am so pleased I found Nuffy Bear! My son has been coming since Nov 2016 and I am so happy with everything about the nursery. The staff are amazing and really understand my child's personality and individual needs. He has been having NHS speech and language sessions following our GP's referral, and
this has been fully supported at the nursery. I have noticed a huge improvement with him and cannot thank the girls at the nursery enough.


They provide healthy snacks and 'home-cooked' meals that my son loves. When I go to collect him, I am told what sort of day he has had, what activities he has done and how much food he's had (usually he eats everything!)


The staff always have time to talk to me if I have any questions or concerns, and I always feel they have spent enough time with me.


We are planning to send my daughter here when she is older and would recommend Nuffy Bear to anyone.

We love this nursery and our son has been very happy here over the last 18 months, starting in the baby room and moving on to the main room. All the staff are brilliant, very welcoming and professional. They work hard to find activities each child enjoys and to adapt learning activities to suit their
interests. The meals are good and the children are encouraged to try different foods and to sit nicely together at mealtimes. Highly recommended!

My son has been using this nursery for 18 months now and is the happiest little man when here. Most mornings, (when not in a hump) he runs straight to the doors and can't wait to get in and play. The style of care doesn't just mean play but it involves learning in a way that the children have fun and
know boundaries. They are constantly kept busy and entertained too.
My son has had lots going on since being at this nursery. We have had to deal with a food intolerance that we could not get diagnosed. Between the girls and myself, we have diagnosed his intolerance and the girls have made sure that he has no gluten in his diet now. They spent several months writing a food diary for us to use when having tests which is something that I am very grateful for.
The girls are always happy to listen if you have any questions or problems and will help in any way that they can.
I have recommended this nursery to friends and mums at my daughter's school and will continue to do so.

My two youngest children have been attending the Nuffy Bear Nursery at Nuffield Health, Knights Park, Tunbridge Wells since it opened earlier this year (2015). Both children absolutely love their sessions and look forward to going to nursery enormously, chatting about the staff and activities far more
than they talk about anything else they do outside of nursery! The children seem genuinely disappointed when it is not a nursery day! I have found the staff and nursery manager to be wonderfully caring and enthusiastic. They really do go out of their way to keep the children well occupied and ensure the children have a varied timetable of activities. Overall I am delighted with the children's reaction to and progress at the setting and these thoughts are echoed by my parents who have collected the children on occasion. Knights Park Leisure Park is convenient to get to and there is always plenty of parking. My one reservation before enrolling the children was the relatively small outdoor space, but this has not been a problem. The children get outside plenty when weather permits and as the nursery itself is quite large and they also have use of other space within the Nuffield building the children still get plenty of physical play even when it is raining. Over 3's also have swimming lessons at the Nuffield pool. And did I say how lovely the staff are...?
