My Name is Marie, I have been working at Bright Horizons for over 13 years and I am the Nursery Manager at Bright Horizons Barnes Day Nursery and Preschool.
During this time I obtained my CACHE Level 3 Diploma Certificate for the Children and Young People’s Workforce.
I began my childcare journey working as a nursery assistant and throughout the years I have progressed through the roles of Nursery Nurse, Room Leader, Third in Charge, Deputy Manager and I am now a Nursery Manager.
This has allowed me to obtain a wealth of knowledge and experience during these roles so that I can support staff in providing inclusive play and learning opportunities for all children attending the nursery and maintain a stimulating and enjoyable environment to ensure every child has the best possible start in their educational life.

Hello, I'm Daniella, the Deputy Manager at Barnes Bright Horizons since September 2023. With over 13 years in childcare, I started as an apprentice and later qualified as a level 3 practitioner. After spending 4 years at a nursery, I advanced to a management role in a larger company in Lincoln, gaining over 4 years of managerial experience.
My expertise includes working with SEND children, and I'm passionate about development. Now, at Bright Horizons, I've taken on the role of SENCO lead alongside my third in charge. Witnessing the growth of both children and staff has been a rewarding part of my journey.

Hello, I am Aoife, the Third in Charge.
I have had a passion for early years for many years, but this was deepened during my BA Hons in Early Childhood Education.
As a Playworker for children with SEND, I applied research skills and decided to pursue an MA in Inclusive Education: SEND and Disability.
Simultaneously, I worked across nurseries, supporting children's growth. Witnessing milestones became a keen interest, leading me to become the Toddler Room Leader at Barnes Day Nursery. Building on this experience, I advanced to Third in Charge, where I provided support to both the Baby and Toddler rooms. This journey has allowed me to deepen my understanding and actively contribute to the well-rounded development of the nursery.
