My son (4) and daughter (2) both attend Bright Horizons Woking. They both love going into nursery every morning and are very happy when picked up in the evening. The staff are very caring and offer all the support needed. Appreciate all the effort made by the staff to make sure all my children's needs
are met.

Overall, I do appreciate the cleanliness of the environment for my baby girl -which address part of healthy and safety. Most of the staff are so much on board than others which means there is a healthy working competition to meet the needs of our children. The fact that staff are given the opportunity
to develop in their work and make them better teachers makes me feel very safe when I leave my baby with them. I always find the staff with a good smile and they have always spent time to say hello to me, even if they are busy. Moving forward when I find difference in the information given by the staff and what is recorded, I have to addresses it to the head of the school and the fact that I see a great change, makes me feel I am valued for my concerns. Overall, the place to me is great for our children.

The nursery has been doing really well to engage and teach children in a fun, interactive way. We have seen a good team of staff form who care for the children and guide them well. Overall, the nursery is a great place to start and a good location. The current management is doing very well to keep the
standards high.

From day 1 the nursery staff have made us feel very welcome and our daughter settled into the nursery surprisingly quickly. This is down to the care, attention and focus they give her. Staff is amazing. Every morning and evening we are greeted with smiling faces. They are very nurturing and providing
our daughter with so much care and attention. She has built very strong relationships with the staff. They are incredibly warm and loving towards her. The nursery has a lovely, warm, and inviting culture. Every day we get informed about our daughter’s learning and development which is very reassuring. We also get plenty of photos which we really appreciate. We feel very lucky to have found such a wonderful and happy environment for our daughter. We know she is in capable and warm hands!

My son has been with Bright Horizons for a month, and I can only see positive effects on my son. He is the happiest he has been, and the staff are just incredible. They are super friendly and so accommodating to all needs.
The communication is great, and having the app brings up-to-date notifications
about your child so you dont feel you are missing too much while being at work.

We are both so happy with Bright Horizons Woking Day Nursery and Preschool. Our child has been there for almost three years now and he genuinely enjoys every day he is there. The staff they have are incredible and have such a great bond with all the children. Management is relatively new but making
excellent progress and really positive changes/improvements. Communication is very good, and the app they introduced last year is now a great tool to keep up to date with what is going on. If you are looking for a warm and stimulating environment for your child then I would definitely recommend it.

We have been so happy with Bright Horizons Woking. Staff are incredibly professional and warm, and our daughter clearly has formed strong bonds. Feedback is excellent, and we were kept up to date with how she is doing and how we can help her develop. She clearly loved going to nursery and talked about
it and her friends a lot!
We would have loved to stay longer but had to move simply due to location. Would definitely recommend it.

The experience was awesome. I was a bit worried being the first time I would leave my child's care unto others, letting him out of sight for as much as five hours, but the manager, deputy manager and the team made me feel at home the first time I visited the place for a tour, thus allaying my anxiety.
The settling-in period was also commendable and helpful to me and my child. The communication from the nursery team on the day-to-day activities of the child is also commendable. The neatness and the outdoor area is also observed to be good. The management and staff are always ready to help and answer questions.

Our son has settled into the nursery well, having recently moved house/town. The facilities are large and clean with a great outdoor sandpit our son loves. The staff are very friendly. The app for parents is great and really useful.

We really appreciate the recent changes in the administration which have given the nursery a great facelift. Credit to them for making small changes which are making big impacts. Additionally, appreciate the efforts put in by the caregivers, especially in the baby room.

I am happy with the way my daughter is getting supported by all the teachers and a special mention goes to the manager who has taken all the possible measures to support my daughter in every way. My daughter loves to come to school and enjoys her day with all. The manager is a brilliant administrator
and very approachable who has the patience to listen to the needs and act on them swiftly.

My child has been at Woking Day Nursery since April 2021. While the staff have always been very caring and thoughtful, for the first year things have not gone very smoothly due to a shortage of staff and the nursery being flooded in the summer of 2022.
In the last few months, however, staff retainment
has greatly improved and the new management has shown real interest and determination in achieving higher standards for the nursery. Also, very pleased to see the introduction of personalised observations and progress reviews in the app.

There has been a massive improvement in the nursery since the new management team joined in August 2022. The new preschool leader has noticed that my son was acting a bit shy and withdrawn after all the changes the nursery has been through. She invested her time and energy in forming a beautiful relationship
with my son, and really "brought him out of his shell". He is now confident to speak up, express his thoughts and is the first one to join all the activities at preschool. The range and type of activities have improved a lot too, and you can see a big difference in the children who are now learning letters, and numbers, holding their pens beautifully, and learning about nature and even about other planets. I feel confident that my son is getting the best preparation for school. The new manager is very responsive, efficient, warm and truly wants to get to know each child and family. Under her lead, staff have been happy, settled and engaged with children and families too.

We have noticed the biggest change in my stepson since the new management arrived at this nursery. He is happier, enthusiastic to arrive and sad to leave. The management are openly friendly and professional and always engage with the children and adults. I've had things actioned faster than ever before
and it feels as though we as a family, are being cared for. Highly recommend thank you to two members of staff, in particular.

Since the new management team started, the nursery has improved massively. Communication is great, the app is updated regularly and we love seeing the photos on there of what our daughter has been up to. I love that they get involved in all the dress up days and celebrate things like Diwali. My only
slight criticism, and perhaps it’s been because of Covid-19, but unlike other nurseries they don’t seem to do a Christmas show, graduation day, have yearly professional photos taken or go out on any day trips. This is minor really, they do loads of activities during the day and the main thing for us is that the staff are lovely and our daughter loves going there, and that’s the most important thing! Don't be put off by old reviews, they’re not relevant or accurate any more.

We joined the nursery in July 2020. As you’ll see from the other comments, when the previous manager went on maternity leave, the nursery went downhill and lost some great staff. Since the new management came in mid-2021, we have seen a massive improvement. We have great communication from the room
via the app and at handovers, as well as a weekly newsletter from the management team. The nursery seems well run and most importantly our daughter seems really happy and loves her key worker.

Our daughter has attended Bright Horizons Woking since August 2020. The nursery was not well run at this time and it continued until mid-2021. There were a number of serious issues and we were very close to leaving. Since the new managers and the new team have taken over we have seen a vast improvement
in day to day life at the nursery and are very glad we persevered. Things now feel well organised and we feel the team is working hard to keep on making improvements. The new management has listened to feedback and we are happy with the communication that we are now receiving about nursery life and our daughter's progress.

Avoid Bright Horizons completely, to be honest. My son is 4.5 and has been at the Guildford Road one since he was 11 months old but it's gone massively downhill. Lots of parents have removed their kids and if my son did not only have a couple of months left, I'd pull him out too. There have been unsafe
child/carer ratios (which OFSTED pulled them up on), the communication has been dire and there are some days they turn kids away at the door because they don't have staff (lots of the staff have left). Look elsewhere.


We made a formal complaint to one of the area managers as our initial complaint to the nursery manager was ignored (as were most of our other emails). The area managers response was unacceptable and we were not offered a meeting to discuss which I would have taken.


Do not send your children here.

It has been very sad to see the decline of this nursery over the past year. A change of management at the top means it has gone from being one of the best nurseries in the area to now losing talented staff on a weekly basis. And sadly as a result the care for the children is not consistent. There has
been a real lack of communication with parents but also with the staff. They have brought in a new management team to try to address these significant issues (Ofsted have also been involved). We await to see if things will improve over the coming months.

Our experience with Bright Horizons Woking has been one of extreme frustration and disappointment. The communication has been absolutely diabolical at a time when it was needed more than ever. From 30 minute waits to get through the door to watching new parents being allowed to go to open days having
never stepped foot through the door ourselves. There aren’t enough characters to list all of the issues we have had with Bright Horizons Woking. Let’s hope the new management sort it out for those parents who plan on keeping their children attending the nursery long term. They deserve much much better.
