Busy Bees Bitteswell, which is located south of Leicester in Lutterworth, is jam-packed full of stimulating activities and resources which every child will enjoy and thrive within.

Both our son and daughter have attended since they were 10 months old (now 4 and almost 2 years old). We've always been really happy with the nursery and the care our children receive. However, in the last year, the nursery has really stepped up and improved every single aspect of the experience. The
staff are incredible - friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and caring. Our children absolutely love to go and they participate in a huge range of fun activities which really support their development. The environments and provocations for play are constantly changing and what's brilliant is that these are prompted by the children themselves. We get great feedback and daily photos. The menu is varied and nutritious. It's clean and safe. They have started offering extra activities like football and yoga, which my son loves. They have also put a lot of thought into how to prepare the 3/4 years olds for school too. I cannot fault it and I'm so grateful that we decided to send our children here!

Since our son has joined Busy Bees at Bitteswell, we have noticed a significant improvement in his happiness and his interactivity with us as parents. We attribute this to the loving and caring environment that has been brought into and the particular bond that he has formed with individual key workers.
This doesn’t happen by accident and we are eternally grateful for the time and dedication that all of the staff at Busy Bees have taken to make our son feel like he has a second home.

I have had a very positive experience with this nursery. The staff have been amazing, always give a good handover. They managed the pandemic very well and I felt very safe for my son to attend. My son loves it there.

My little boy absolutely loves this nursery. The staff are always very welcoming and friendly and treat the children like their own. My little boy's face lights up at drop off and he waves me goodbye with a smile.
The app they use to keep parents updated on what the children have been doing throughout
the day is fantastic. I get a notification when he’s eaten, slept or had a nappy change as well as photos of him throughout the day, which I love.
The meals are written on a chalkboard outside the front door each day so you know what he’s going to be having. The meals are always nutritious and well balanced and the nursery caters for my son’s dietary needs without any fuss.

My son has been coming to this nursery since he was almost 1. We’ve had a very positive experience at the nursery and I’m emotional for him to leave soon for school.
Both he and I have made strong relationships with all of his key workers throughout his journey. The staff work incredibly hard and
I always get strong reassurance that they care about his experience and development.
My son has possible SEN requirements (still too early to tell as hopefully minor) but the nursery has a strong procedure for this and I feel informed and supported in this process.
Through your Covid strict procedures have meant that the nursery stayed open after lockdown 1 and I have always felt as though decisions were made in the interest of ensuring this remained the case, even if it meant unpopular decisions of parents queuing in the rain for pick up.
New management has been a resounding success, with loads of positive and proactive changes.

My son first started out at this nursery and he has left for school and my daughter started this nursery around four months old. My daughter absolutely loves the nursery and has a great bond with many members of staff, my daughter always goes to nursery with a smile on her face and is constantly learning
new things. The range of activities is outstanding and it’s a joy to have my daughter attend here.

My 1-year-old goes to Bitteswell and she's so happy. I feel she's so loved and cared for, almost like a little part of a family. Her parent zone is full of beautiful ' in the moment ' pictures, with exciting activities.

My little boy attends Busy Bees full time in their Foundation Class and loves every second. He can’t wait to come home and tell us all what he has been up to during his day at Nursery. The team are fantastic, they take such great care of the children and do their utmost to make the children’s nursery

My son has been attending the nursery since September 2020 when he was 9 months old. I think all the staff are brilliant at what they do and my little boy's development is amazing from day to day. I like that he gets to do a lot of different activities and it gives me ideas on what to do at home with
him. The app is also amazing for this! Two members of staff, in particular, have both been a big part of my son's development and he recognises them each time he sees them even on the tablet at home from when they were reading books. They are all amazing and can't fault anything at all. Thank you to all the staff at Bitteswell and please know you are doing an amazing job.

Over the last few months, our little boy has developed so much through the nursery. He now interacts with his cousins without crying first and doesn't cry at people that come up to him. He is more sociable and his confidence is through the room and it's totally down to what the girls at the nursery
have done with him. We can't thank you enough for your time and effort that you have done with him.

The Lutterworth team are very proactive. I certainly don't feel like a number but am treated individually. The team have worked with me on any issues that have arisen both with timings and behaviour issues. I find them approachable and personable. One carer, in particular, installed a pom pom system
for my son and even gave him small rewards and treats to take home if he had a good week. Makes my son feel good and strive harder. Thank you for caring.

My daughter currently attends and I am so happy with how far she has come along, the staff in the rooms have always been lovely and I love seeing the photos home of everything she had been doing. Busy Bees have been absolutely incredible! Our little boy has been very nervous leaving my side (mother) as he’s with me 24/7! So we wanted to make sure we found somewhere that could help him to settle in gently, where we were comfortable with the steps taken at his pace! The ladies here have been perfect
and most importantly listened to our needs, followed them through and kept me updated constantly! Having the parent room is great, he knew I was there and he was just upstairs! Nothing was too much trouble even when constantly asking them to go check on him take photos, even got to peak and get the reassurance I needed! They helped by adapting the day to suit and please our son to settle in but importantly to prepare him for the next day. Leaving on a positive is huge they do this and personally! We checked all the nurseries in the area, this was by far the only one that listened and understood! We can’t thank the manager and all the ladies enough! Keep up the good work, you're all doing fab!

I am very grateful of the care and love they give my child, the staff are amazing. I don't live in Leicester so as a dad, I am very fortunate to leave my son in such a great environment and feel so at ease, especially when receiving notes throughout the day of how my son ate and what activities he has
been doing. Would definitely recommend this nursery to mums and dads.

We are very pleased with the time our son has spent here. The staff are very receptive to his needs and adapt their care accordingly. My son very much enjoys going to nursery and has made secure attachments with several members of staff. He eats very well, with a fantastic variety of food and undertakes
a range of activities. The communication from staff is also very good, especially with regards to when my son is feeling unwell. I would definitely recommend this nursery to any parents looking to provide a safe and secure environment with a range of learning activities to broaden their child's development.

Our daughter has attended from 9 months old and has always enjoyed going - sometimes I can't get her to leave at the end of the day! the team have been continually supportive to us and we are extremely grateful. Please go into this nursery with a very open pair of eyes.


You will be sold the dream nursery by the manager.


Food menus have gone downhill and upper management are reluctant to accommodate parents' wishes, despite food being the number 1 priority for the child.


Day to day staff in rooms are

fantastic. I cannot fault them and the kids do seem to do a lot of activities.

Excellent nursery and wonderful staff. Since my little boy's first taster session, the staff at Busy Bees at Bitteswell, have been fantastic. They make you feel at ease leaving your little one for the first time, and every time, in a professional, clean and friendly environment. All food is excellent

My daughter has attended Busy Bees for 4 months, she is very happy and comfortable in the 2-3 room. We could not ask for more, the staff are extremely kind, conscientious, helpful and take excellent care in the development of every child. All activity is recorded on an online app so I can see what is
happening and keep in touch with her key worker. We regularly receive photos and are kept informed of development through updates to the app and parent evening. We are very happy with Busy Bees, every need that is paramount in keeping your child happy and safe is met. Meal times are well planned and impressive with a wide variety of menu options. My daughter talks about nursery every day and is so enthusiastic about the staff and her nursery friends. My daughter has developed very well in all areas since starting and that is due to the wide range of activities on offer and key worker engagement. We are excited to see her pre-school journey progress at Busy Bees.

Both of my daughters love attending Bitteswell Montessori. My eldest has been attending for almost 4 years and has enjoyed all of her nursery. They have loved all of their key workers and other members of staff. Particular mention for the lovely cleaner who always has a chat and even brought my eldest
a birthday present!
One improvement would be more communication - we used to have newsletters which seem to have stopped.
