Monkey Puzzle Irthlingborough employs high-quality staff and offers the benefits of a high staff to child ratio so that children can get the most out of their time at the facility.

The nursery has a selection of rooms tailored to the different age ranges, reflecting the seven key areas of learning outlined by the EYFS.

All staff are trained in first aid and food hygiene and offer a versatile range of sessions for parent's requirements. Daily menus are selected to support growth and nutrition.

Within a bright and spacious environment, all meals and snacks are prepared onsite, with branded nappies, wipes and creams all included in the price. There is a large outdoor play area with excellent play equipment, convenient parking and fees are inclusive of freshly prepared breakfast, lunch, tea, snacks and drinks.

They also have a holiday and before/after school room and are able to drop-off and pick-up from local schools in the area.

Cannot praise this nursery enough! My son never wants to come home he loves it here so much! All the staff are super friendly and helpful. The facilities are amazing and they offer so much. My son has come on leaps and bounds since joining. Cannot recommend this nursery enough!

My little boy started at Monkey Puzzle when he was ten months old, although he is slow to warm to people, he adores the staff there and always asks if one of his keyworkers can come and live with us!
Another keyworker has helped with his fussy eating and managed to get him trying new things he wouldn't
even touch before.
The staff are always easy to chat to and happy to work with you to get the best out of your little one.

My two and a half-year-old son absolutely loves his half days at Monkey Puzzle Irthlingborough. The staff are very professional and amazing. My little one has warmed to all of them. They have made him feel safe and secure within their environment, I couldn't be happier with his learning and enthusiasm
since starting in September. He comes home shattered lol but tries his best to tell me all about his day with big smiles. I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent. They have a lovely garden, soft play room, a lot of equipment and activities to get involved in and I have noticed my son coming on in leaps and bounds since he began his Monkey Puzzle journey.

This nursery is everything a nursery should be, the staff are lovely, friendly and professional. The atmosphere is relaxed, the environment is clean and sensibly laid out, security is very good and the staff are very aware and on the ball. My granddaughters love attending and have learnt so much.

We are very pleased with the care our son has received since he started in September, after visiting a number of nurseries we knew that this was the right one for us! Everything is included and we never have to worry about parking when dropping him off. The staff have been fantastic and my son is always
happy to see them, we also love the app as we can see what he is up to during the day and can always message them if we need to. There are lots of things for them to do and develop, my son has come on leaps and bounds during his time here.


The nursery have been very flexible and accommodating with our shift patterns and we would happily recommend them to our friends and family!

My daughter started attending here this year. The staff all made her feel settled with settling in sessions they offer and made me feel at ease knowing I could stay around as well. Lovely friendly staff. My daughter seems to love the activities they offer and has come home great masterpieces to display
on the fridge! As a family, we love the app that I was able to add other family members to who like checking in as well.
As first time mum leaving my child for the first time, it was very upsetting, however, the staff send photos throughout the day and I can see she is happy which makes the whole process a lot easier on me. I have witnessed how proactive security is and observed the staff not allow entry to someone they didn't recognize which is very reassuring.
Lovely nursery would recommend only feedback I would say is more detailed handovers when collecting as what they have eaten is not always clear on the app.

My son has had the best start possible going to Monkey Puzzle. It is a very anxious time having to put your child into nursery but the staff have been so reassuring and it is obvious how much they care for the children. As a parent, I can walk away knowing my child is safe and well looked after with
well organised and varied activities for the children to learn and develop. I would highly recommend Monkey Puzzle.

My two children are currently at the nursery and have been since they were six months of age. My oldest is in his final few months before leaving for big school.
I cannot recommend Monkey Puzzle enough.
They have been absolutely amazing through our ongoing journey, the staff are nothing but helpful
and friendly. The managers are very supportive and go out of their way to accommodate your needs.
They all show immense care and compassion for each and every child and this nursery is brilliant, I would highly recommend them.

My son is 20 months and has been coming to Monkey Puzzle since he was 10 months old. He absolutely loves it. All of the staff have made a big effort to build a relationship with him and this is evident in the way he responds to them. They have created a very warm, friendly and professional atmosphere.
My
son has a dairy intolerance and I totally trust them to manage this. The app is good for keeping on top of how much food he has eaten and his naps.
They also send me photos of what he is up to. My daily photo really makes my day and I love seeing him so happy there.
The food is of great quality and they also include nappies in the cost, which other nurseries don't. They are also more flexible than other nurseries and always help me to meet my requirements.

Staff have been amazing settling my child into the nursery, very caring patient and understanding.
My child has found it particularly hard to adapt to nursery life and is still in the settling in period.

My two year old started at Monkey Puzzle Irthlingborough at 11 months and enjoys being part of a friendly, caring, stimulating and safe environment. I love that all the staff know his name and welcome him whenever they see him, even if they work in a different room. The factors that made me choose the
nursery were the safety features (fingerprint entry) which are rigorously upheld, the fantastic food with really healthy meals made on site and the online feedback system, which means I can check how he is eating, sleeping etc whilst I’m at work. What I hadn’t expected was the true care, enthusiasm and imagination of the room staff who create a wonderful environment.

I have two children in this nursery, currently age two and three. They both have been attending from approx ten months to one year old and love going to nursery. They are well looked after and have both built great relationships with staff over their time. I'm sure my son will be sad to leave for school
this year but thank you to Monkey Puzzle for helping them both to develop and grow.

Amazing nursery, staff are very friendly and helpful. My children who are nearly 2 years old, love coming to Monkey Puzzle. I have been working here at Monkey Puzzle Irthlingborough since just after we opened. I have over 19 years’ experience in Child Care and am Level 5 qualified. I also have 3 children of my own, so all my spare time is spent taking care of teenage boys!
This is the best Nursery I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of. The whole team care passionately about Early Years and providing the highest standards of care. We have recently been awarded the Ofsted grading of ‘Outstanding’, something which I am so proud of!

Michelle Mobey

Job Title: Co-owner and Principal

Michelle Mobey Co-Owner and Principal

Michelle is a Qualified Teacher holding a Bachelor of Education (Hons), Qualified teaching status as well as a Master of Arts Degree specialising in Early Years Education. She has been working in education and childcare for over 15 years, as well as bringing up her two children, who attend/attended their settings.

When asked why she wanted to work with children, Michelle replied ” I have always wanted to be work with children. I love their energy, honesty and their total love of everything fun and exciting. I really enjoy sharing new ideas and experiences with them. My hope is that I can create a fun, exciting and caring learning environment. I have a lot of patience, enthusiasm, creativity and enjoy helping children (and adults) to discover new things. I want to create an environment that is exciting and fun for the children and my staff. As long as children are given, love, support and encouragement they will succeed. Job satisfaction was the most important factor in choosing a career, and working with children, I believe, is the ultimate choice.”

Since moving to the UK, from South Africa in 2007, Michelle has worked for the National Autistic Society as a teacher creating highly motivating, sensory, dynamic and visually based lessons. After having her first child she branched out into Childminding and received an Outstanding from Ofsted. Michelle has experience of working with children who have multiple barriers to their learning with a vast array of needs and abilities. She hopes to pass on this knowledge to her staff and will use her previous experience as a sound base for coaching and staff development.

Michelle is a good people manager, believing that open honesty, clarity and consideration go a long way in inspiring the best from people. She has a strong work ethos and is highly adaptable, motivated and incredibly enthusiastic.

Simon Mobey

Job Title: Co-owner, Maintenance and Facilities Manager

Joined: 2014

Simon is one of our owners, and is responsible for all things building, site and maintenance. He is a qualified electrician holding 17th Edition city & Guilds, CDM Construction Design Manager, British Safety Council Level 2 ‘Risk Assessment, Fire Warden, LGWSETA trade Test-Electrician (SA), National N3 Certificate (SA).

Simon has the amazing task of creating and building special requests for our team as well as building, upgrading and our fantastic Nursery. He works tirelessly in repairing, building and generally making our Amazing Nursery even more awesome.

In 2015 Michelle and Simon opened their first Nursery, Monkey Puzzle Irthlingborough. Michelle managed this until late 2016. In 2017 Michelle & Simon opened their second beautiful setting Monkey Puzzle Kettering. Following on from the success of these two amazing settings in, July 2018 Michelle and Simon took over ownership of Monkey Puzzle Bedford.
