Kids 1st QE is a purpose-built nursery providing a childcare service to staff and families at Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

The nursery is split into rooms depending on age group and stage of development. Each room has direct access to large, well-equipped and challenging gardens which have been designed to suit the age groups that use them.

As an extra addition to the curriculum, children at Kids 1st QE are able to participate in music and movement lessons, French and enjoy visits throughout the year.

Staff love to involve parents through regular parents’ social evenings and play days; at these events you will meet with your child’s key person who will talk to you about your child’s development.

Kids 1st QE is amazing. The staff are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and skilful. They treat all the children with an amazing level of care and I never worry about leaving my child with them. They are also great at communicating with parents from the daily handovers, app updates and letters home.
I am so pleased I chose Kids 1st QE for my child.

Kids 1st is a wonderfully friendly nursery to both children and parents. There is a wide range of activities for children and I always feel involved in his day. There is support always available and the staff couldn't be more helpful. I'm delighted we chose this nursery. Attending nursery full
time made me feel guilty but I genuinely feel the staff are fabulous and include me in my son's care. He gets a wide variety of food and introduced to new tastes which he wouldn't have at home.
Kids 1st is fantastic.

Our 17-month-old little girl has been attending Kids 1st QE for 5 months. She is there for 2 days a week and is so happy there. As parents, we are confident leaving her in the capable hands of the staff, who genuinely love and care for her. She is coming on leaps and bounds.

Kids 1st QE is amazing. My daughter was very timid when initially started in August 2016 but all the staff have been amazing and supported my daughter who literally runs into nursery every morning. She absolutely loves all the nursery nurses and made some little friends. My daughter's speech and development
have come on loads since starting the QE and this is down to the staff. My daughter is becoming very independent and won't allow anyone to help her at meal times, she obviously sees the other children feeding themselves. I'm so pleased I picked kids first nursery I don't worry about my daughter when I'm at work as I know she is having a lovely day and loves being at nursery

Great nursery which has brought my daughter on leaps and bounds. She used to be scared going into the nursery but soon was wishing to go and I still have trouble picking her up, as she wants to stay. Extremely friendly and polite staff who get on amazing with all children. Always encouraging my daughter
to excel herself.

My son started at Kids 1st QE Nursery when he was 18 months. It was his second nursery as we had moved house. I was really worried about how he would settle especially with all the disruption of the move. However I needn't have worried, he was so well looked after and settled in really quickly.
We
both love his nursery. He does activities that I would never think of doing at home and it encourages me to try new things at home.
The team are both friendly and professional and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the nursery.

I've been extremely unhappy with my son's childcare over the last year and looked constantly to change it but everywhere I went nothing looked different.
In all the places I found the same unhappy faces and unorganised programme for the children.
Soon as I walked into Kids 1 QE I knew that this is
the right place for my son. Everyone looked happy, the activities they do don't allow the children to get bored in the room, the place is so clean, the food provided is perfect, the rooms are spacious and light, the garden is well maintained and clean with loads of things to play with.
All in all a perfect place to be for my little one!
The nursery has been recommended by a friend.
Her little boy is extremely happy in there too.

I love this nursery, my daughter does really well here in the pre-school group. The staff are all really lovely, and my daughter loves her key worker. They do great activities and the building is lovely, the rooms are nice and spacious and the gardens are great. I love that parents get a cup of tea
and a biscuit on the way out too.

As a parent, it's difficult to know what is the best to do for your child, but choosing Kids 1st was the best decision we made. Our son has gained so much confidence and learned so much since starting at the nursery and it's all down to the staff. It feels like an extension of our family which, for
me, is the most important thing. You're in a comfortable environment. The facilities and technology available are amazing and I'd happily recommend it to everyone.

I regularly recommend Kids 1st QE to those looking for childcare. The atmosphere is always a positive and happy one. The environment is bright and colourful the play equipment is fun yet educational. Staff are all approachable and very friendly. The facilities are beautifully presented and always clean
and tidy. I feel involved with my daughters learning with regular updates and parents evenings. My little one always leaves nursery happy having enjoyed her day. I can see a huge difference in her learning and confidence since starting at Kids 1st QE. I honestly can't recommend Kids 1st QE enough.

My little boy enjoys every second at Kids 1st QE. The members of staff who have cared for him have been fantastic, he feels comfortable with all of them and has come on so much from when he started in February last year. The care my son has received has made me feel confident in leaving him at nursery
as I know he has so much fun and does lots of activities that I can see on the parent zone app. Kids 1st is an excellent nursery and would highly recommend it to any new parents who need reassurance that their child will receive the highest quality of care.

My little boy is in Starfish 2 and has been so settled since day 1. The staff are fantastic and they know my little boy so well. He had food allergies when he first started and they were extremely accommodating and supportive catering to his needs every day. His development is tracked so well and they
are aware of his progress in all areas of the EYFS. My son is thriving in this environment and I am over the moon as a parent. Could not be happier.

Could not be happier with Kids 1st QE. All the staff are fantastic and every morning my boys and I are greeted with a smile and made to feel so welcome by any staff we come in to contact with. I'm kept well up to date with progress and day-to-day activities. The nursery is extremely clean. I'm confident
that my son is going to be well cared for when I drop him off each morning. My eldest son who doesn't attend kids 1st loves the home made biscuits after we drop his brother off and I love the hot drink. Keep up the amazing work kids 1st QE! I can't recommend you enough ??

When choosing a nursery for my son Kids 1st QE was the first one I visited and I knew straight away that it was the place for us. The staff are so welcoming and you feel like they want to be at work. The meals provided are varied and healthy and give my son the opportunity to try things that I may not
have considered giving him myself. There are always activities going on for the children and the staff go above and beyond to make you and your child feel special. For a example, at Christmas, a parcel came home with handmade gifts, a present for my son. Cards from the staff and other items such as photos of my son dressed as an elf. A big selling point for me was the parent zone app that allows me to see what my done has eaten, nappy changes and also photos of things he has done. This especially helped me when I first went back to work as I knew I could check in throughout the day which helped me with the transition.

By far the best nursery we have come across!! We visited many in the search and when we found Kids 1st QE, on paper it seemed to good to be true. We were invited for a visit and we're not disappointed - from walking in the front door, the staff were welcoming and the nursery itself was inviting. The
staff are lovely, friendly and professional. I was concerned as my son has an allergy, but they have accommodated him and we have never had any issues. I don't feel 'mum guilt' when I leave him there as I know he is extremely well looked after and he has fun! And he always is suitably worn out by the time he gets home! The nursery has a security pass entry and free coffee in the mornings - bonus! The room are spacious, clean, each with its own garden, and the dining room is very cute!

Kids 1st QE are a fantastic bunch of staff, with great management. I feel very real assured being at work all day knowing my child is looked after with such a high standard of care. I especially love the observation put on by the girls so I can see how well she is progressing. Also, my child has never
had any accidents which assures me a close eye is kept at all times. Nursery very flexible at times of need. And the food she is given is out of this world.

Kids 1st QE is simply exceptional. The staff are friendly and welcoming and make a real effort to get to know parents and children. They have been fantastic at setting our children and they both have a strong bond with their key workers. The children are given loads of opportunities for different types
of learning and play and it is clear how much effort goes into planning their activities.
The environment is always clean, bright and welcoming and the facilities are excellent. The food is brilliant and my children always eat well. The whole place is a credit to the amazing management team!
