Chestnut Nursery School Arden House is situated within a converted Registry Office, and has a set of large, spacious rooms with high ceilings and plenty of natural light.

They offer childcare for children aged from 0-5 years old, between the hours of 8.00am – 6.00pm. They are very flexible in their childcare sessions, offering full-time and part-time care. The nursery also takes on children accessing the free 15 hour/11 hour educational grant.

There is a baby room, toddler room, and pre-school room within the nursery, and it has a number of links to the local community through the children's centre located within the setting. Arden House has a large outdoor area, within a safe, enclosed environment.

As with all Chestnut Nursery Schools it follows a forest school ethos as a part of its core curriculum, and so encourages learning and development through outdoor, nature-driven activities.

My child has really grown and developed since he joined Arden House Nursery. The staff and management are really professional and are always happy to help. I'm really happy he enjoys coming to nursery.

My daughter started her nursery in September. Everything including staff and management is excellent. Teachers are very friendly, helping and loving. They take great care of your child and provide them good environment to learn and grow. I am glad my daughter got a space here. I would highly recommend
this nursery to parents.

My name is Kim Pybus and I am Level 3 qualified in Childcare and Education. I have worked in childcare for over 24 years covering many different roles from nursery practitioner to third in charge and now Deputy. I thoroughly enjoy watching children develop a new skill and become independent whilst using that skill.


I have a daughter of my own and she is now in her 20s. I believe the skills experience and passion for working with children have played an integral role in both of our growth. I have now been working at Arden House for several years and find this extremely rewarding.
