My child really enjoys going here and the staff and management team are really caring and attentive, compared to other nursery this really open my eye up and i really believe this nursery is the best area around and if i do have any more child's i would know where to send them.

Our son has been at Bright Horizons Muswell Hill Day Nursery and Preschool for nearly two years as we now move on to school. He's been very well looked after by the staff there and has made some great friends.
Many days out at the nearby playgrounds, parks and woods as well as trips to the children's
bookshop.
Will be missed.

We are very happy to have found Bright Horizons Nursery. As a first-time mom, it was very difficult for me at the beginning to just leave my child to others. But with every day that my baby was allowed to spend in the nursery, my confidence grew and after a week of settling in, I could see the joy in
my baby every morning when we brought her to the nursery. I find it remarkable how much attention to detail is put into creating the daily activities for the children: From the wonderful painting sessions to sports Fridays and independent cutlery handling training. Our child is encouraged by the teachers to be courageous and independent, creative and tolerant. And if you want to know what your child is doing during the day, you can use the app to find out what delicious food they are eating or what excursions they have been on. Thank you for everything! We can recommend you in all respects!

By far the best nursery. We had our son go to another one in Crouch End and this hands down is so much better. The staff are happy and supportive and the turnover is low. It’s so great to see the same staff on drop off and pick up and get to know them. Our two kids (in baby and toddler rooms) are so
happy there. They were so supportive when helping to potty train our son. They are also less strict on sending them home unless really necessary. The only thing missing is some outside space, but they take the kids out almost every day and there is an indoor garden that my son enjoys very much. 100% recommend Bright Horizons, Muswell Hill. Thanks to the team!

My son is loving his experience here. We transferred here after a bad experience from a previous nursery the team are loving. My child settled very quickly, with managers on hand to resolve queries. Seeing my sons smile when it’s time for nursery is the best feeling. The manager and her team help to
transition the children well and provide amazing care.

I had two daughters going to this nursery and now my little son goes there and we are very pleased with the nursery. The staff are really friendly and have gone beyond to reassure safety and safeguarding in a really difficult time.
Every time when I see people talk about the nurseries around the Muswell
Hill area I always recommend them to have their kids at this nursery.
However, I don’t want to complain about this and hope that a particular staff member corrects her behaviour as she has been at this nursery many years so she should be learning from her experiences, that greeting a child at the door with a smiley and friendly face will make him/her more comfortable to say bye to their parents.

Our daughters (4 and 2) have been attending the nursery for the past year and an half and they are so happy here. The care, attention and level of service provided by the very friendly and professional staff is amazing and as parents, we feel very safe in leaving our daughters with the staff. Every
day, we see the smile and happiness of our daughters and their little friends when we collect them; aside from the excellent set of skill development activities, we find (compared with previous experiences) the staff really care about letting the children create bonds and support development of social interaction and expression skills, which especially in the current times, is something really valuable to us.

This is a fantastic nursery that my daughter attended for three years until starting school in September. She was so happy here and loved going every single day. I believe that my daughter's smooth transition to school was due to her time at Bright Horizons. The staff are so friendly and have been a
constant throughout my daughters time there.
My daughter has learnt so many skills and was even writing before she left for school!
My daughter’s key contact in Unicorns was superb and the staff were a fantastic support to me and my family when we welcomed our second daughter in September.
Management are approachable and very responsive. I can’t wait for our second daughter to start here so we can see all the familiar faces. It’s hard to find a nursery that feels like a community these days, but this is one of those places. A real find.

My son has been attending Bright Horizons for 3 years. I can’t speak more highly of the nursery and all the staff. They know all children and parents by name, they are organised, caring and brilliant at what they do. My son loves it there and is leaving soon and we will be sad to leave the nursery.
It has been an amazing environment for him in the earliest years of his life.

I am so happy with the choice I made to bring my daughter to this nursery. It was the first I have visited, and visiting other nurseries around the area, well, you cannot compare them.
The only thing I can say, my daughter is asking to go there even on weekends, so this can make you understand how

We've been part of the Bright Horizons family for almost four years now with my two kids attending since they were under a year old.
I cannot really state how happy we feel with the way our kids have developed in this multinational and multicultural environment; it truly reflects the diversity of
Lthe area.
Our kids have always been well taken care of, and both have developed deep attachments with their key workers in all their different classrooms.
All staff know my kids by name, and there is a true feeling that they are loved and emotionally supported all the time. As full-time working parents, my wife and I feel extremely blessed of having found a place where we can feel very comfortable as a family.

We have been utterly delighted with our experience at Magic, Muswell Hill. We had such an extensive list of things we were looking for in a nursery for our son: a safe, stimulating environment, an impressive Ofsted and a nursery that opens early! This nursery has all three plus much, much more. The
rooms are beautifully furnished with age-appropriate toys and personalised wall-displays which are updated regularly. Staff are welcoming, professional and incredibly compassionate towards the children. The Magic team clearly work incredibly hard and seem to really love what they do. The indoor and outdoor activities are varied and enriching and have helped our son come along leaps and bounds in both his confidence and creativity. The menu is healthy and diverse and the nursery is very conscientious about adapting meals for children who have any special dietary requirements. It's really a wonderful place and certainly lives up to its 'magic name'. Thank you to all of you, we are so grateful.

Our son joined Magic Nursery when he was just ten months old and we haven’t looked back. Like most parents, we were no different in feeling slightly nervous about how he would adjust and settle into a new environment. He’s nearly two and he’s doing really well, so happy and enjoys every day and its
testament to how wonderful all of the staff are. They are nurturing, loving and so welcoming and the care that is afforded is second to none. They’re just like family! It’s the best thing we have done for our son and we’re so thrilled and lucky to have discovered Magic and all the lovely staff that make it live up to its name.

My gorgeous son started at the nursery in August 2019 - we have both been made to feel so welcome. He has a lovely key worker but I must say all the staff are extremely attentive, caring and professional. It is such a relief to know that my baby is in good hands! True to its name, this Magic Nursery has really created magic in my son's life. He has been attending this nursery since he was 13 months old and has been loving his time there. Initially, he was a shy child but his personality has evolved over the last ten months. We see regular updates on Tapestry.
The staff member is extremely patient and wonderful. They invest lots of time in his development and always encourage him to be part of various activities. I love the variety of activities the nursery has since it helps my child to learn a lot of things, be it musical activity, baking cake, going on moon, messy play, storytime and many more. The carers and management are wonderful, loving and kind. The food served to the kids is fresh and healthy. They take special care of fussy eaters and feed them accordingly. I will recommend Magic Nursery as I believe that my child is in the best and safe hands. Thank you Magic Nursery for the journey so far.

We love Magic. Our little girl enrolled at 14 months and prior to that had never been in any sort of childcare. The carers were immediately tuned into her needs and were extremely patient with her. She now loves going to nursery, we still have a few tears but they go as soon as we have left. The carers
are so lovely with the children, the receptionists are really welcoming and the food is amazing. I think our little girl eats better than us. She also comes home with little pictures she’s painted and the updates and pictures via tapestry are brilliant. Also, the summaries you get at the end of the day are super useful. Big thanks Magic.

Our two-year old has attended Magic since he was around 10 months old. We know how much he loves being at nursery - we see all the smiles and laughter through the regular Tapestry updates - but what has really surprised us is how much he is learning at Magic, and how each and every staff member is investing
in his personal development.
The thoughtful and dedicated staff at Magic make an enormous effort to enrich each day with some kind of special activity that elevates the nursery experience far beyond just the play-time typically seen in other nurseries in this age group.
In the last few weeks alone, our toddler has baked, learned ‘Golden Rules’ to promote positive social interaction, celebrated Black History Month and learned about Autumn, Diwali and Halloween.
There’s plenty of messy play, sing-songs, building blocks and storytime too - but staff at Magic seem to go the extra mile to combine learning with fun.
He’s still only two and we know there’s a long way to go in his education but this feels like a great head start.

My little one has been coming to this lovely nursery since she was nine months old. She starts school in September 2019 and we will definitely miss it. She absolutely loves it. Firstly the carers and management team are simply wonderful - caring, kind and patient. The food is made fresh on-site and
the extracurricular activities are interesting, varied and fun. The regular updates are invaluable and it is so nice to have an insight into her day from my desk! I have had experience of work nurseries, pre-schools and other private nurseries due to having two older boys and various maternity leave rejigging and I can happily say that this is by far the best nursery we've been to. The outstanding rating is very well deserved! The only reason I've marked a satisfactory in the list is for the outside space as the outdoor garden is limited however the rest more than makes up for it.

Hi I'm Tracey the Nursery Manager.


I have been in the childcare industry for over 20 years, working my way up from student to nursery assistant, to room leader, deputy and now a Nursery Manager. I have worked in Australia for many years before returning to the UK in 2015 where I joined the Magic Daycare Nursery Group working alongside my colleagues to open our Muswell Hill nursery, I then joined the Whetstone team in 2016 and along with dedicated staff team we worked together to maintain our Ofsted 'Outstanding' rating for the 2nd time.


We have since joined the Bright Horizons family and our knowledge and development continues to grow as we are introduced to new things such as our 'Growing Programmes' and Boogie Mites. I am also the nursery SENCO and work alongside the local authority to support those little ones who may need additional support in their development.
