The staff are really what makes this nursery. They are so attentive and caring and have been fantastic with our son during his time at the nursery. He has been exposed to lots of new experiences and has developed so much over the last few months. They have been very patient in helping him adjust to
his new routine and I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery.

We absolutely love Magic at Muswell Hill. Our first daughter has been going for 20 months now and our second will join in October. Our daughter has a wonderful time each day- she’s made good friends, her day is filled with educational fun and she eats good food. She also has some great projects we engage
with at home too. The staff in each room are genuinely invested in every child, giving thorough reviews every day and on Tapestry. 7 months after she left the ‘baby room’, the staff there still chat to her every day and love to hear updates. Everyone in management and admin are lovely and couldn’t be more helpful, even helping me out when my daughter posted my phone through our floorboards once!

My daughter has been attending Magic Muswell Hill for the past 3 years. I have always been confident that my daughter is in very good hands. All the staff (reception and kitchen included) are very friendly and go above and beyond for the children. The communication with parents is fantastic and their
approach to educating the children is simply great. My daughter amazes me every day with her wide general knowledge and I know that the nursery is responsible for a big part of it. I feel very fortunate that my son is able to attend such a good nursery. Attentive staff, ones that are keen to further children’s development through play and exploration.


They offer good facilities and rooms for the various children age groups. The food that is cooked on site is great and the fact

that the fees include nappies, baby toiletries, all meals, trips and extracurricular activities is really positive as you realise talking to other parents don’t benefit from this included fee structure.


Children's safety and well-being are taken very seriously. And the staff including the management do listen and have active engagement with parents.


A special thank you to be made to the key staff at the Cherubs room. My son's key worker and everyone else in that room deserves praise and make me realise that I am fortunate to be able to leave my son with them, knowing his development and safety are met while showing much love to him and all the children.

I would please like to express the sincerity of all staff at Magic nursery Muswell Hill. They truly go above and beyond in all areas and always has the best interest of the children.
The new manager is amazing and interacts with the children daily, although her workload may be a lot at the time. The

My child has been coming to this nursery for over 3 years now. From day 1 I have felt nothing but love, warmth, happiness and joy when bringing my child. The standards are set exceptionally high by the management team and this is reflected in my child's planning. I am made to feel welcome by the management
team and the lovely Admin lady every day. No question is ever gone unanswered. My child gets a balanced healthy diet from an exceptionally clean kitchen. I am dreading taking my child to school but know that with the outstanding input all the staff have had on my child's early stages of life they will shine in school.

Our daughter started attending Magic when she had just turned one and has just left at aged two and a half as we moved out of the area.
We were really pleased with Magic as a nursery. Caring and professional staff at all levels and parts of the organisation. Our daughter also had very special bonds
with both her key workers within the baby room (Cherubs) and then the toddler room (Munchkins).
The nursery is really well run with lots of great activities and classes as well as brilliant food cooked on site each day. Our daughter has thrived there, being well supported in her learning and development.
But most importantly of all to us, she just has so much fun there. She has made lovely friendships with other children and adores her carers. She always runs in with a smile on her face and as a family, we are always greeted with warmth and support.
Would highly recommend.

My baby son is not just cared for, he is loved by the incredibly patient, kind and fun loving key worker and her colleagues. They know him as a person and as an individual and they help him to shine with his strengths and to learn more about how to stand and to walk. One member of staff has outstanding
artistic skills and she shares this with the children. They create the most wonderful artwork which my family and I will treasure. This lady also has excellent first aid and medical skills, as does the manager of the baby room and the rest of her team too. Every morning, my baby’s key worker is there to welcome him, to let him switch the lights on and off for fun and to cuddle him when he needs a sleep, on the odd morning when he is tired. She is very intelligent and kind, she speaks different languages fluently and has become very special to my son and I. We will be moving soon and will find this team and the outstanding Magic Nursery set up very hard to replicate for him.

Magic Nursery is a wonderful, creative, nurturing and supportive environment for my 2-year-old son. He has been attending Magic since Summer 2018. Our daughter has been at Magic Nursery for 2 1/2 years since she was 9 months old and we have been delighted by the nursery all the way through. The key area of excellence is around attention and care in her personally. Although she has had specific key workers in all the different rooms, every member
of staff shows genuine interest about her and her development. They know and encourage the subjects and activities that she loves as well as the areas which need additional support. There is a very positive attitude and they laugh with her (and us) a lot which makes it a lovely environment to leave her every day. The wide range of activities and engagement in different cultural events is also something we will miss as we move away. Would highly recommend the nursery to anyone.

I am extremely happy with the service and support that I and my son has received throughout his stay at Magic Nursery Muswell Hill.
My son had joined the Unicorns room at 2 years of age and had slight delays with his speech. Magic Nursery and my son's allocated key worker have been absolutely fabulous
with supporting me and son with developing his speech where I no longer have any concerns.


All the staff are very friendly and approachable and have a genuine nurturing attitude towards the Children.


I would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff from Unicorns for your support over the years in helping me with my son's learning and development to start Primary School this September.

I am very happy with the nursery and the way they cared and nurtured my daughter. My daughter's transition was lovely, we did settling for 10 days because my daughter has never been anywhere without me and this session really helped not just her but myself, she loved coming to the settling in and when
it was time for her first day at Cherubs class we both were nervous, but it took her less than two weeks to get used to the nursery. I have seen how my daughter's confidence and self-esteem has grown, in the playgroups we go to when she's not attending nursery when I leave her to family members knowing that I would come back to pick her up.
I would have liked my daughter to continue attending Magic Nursery Muswell Hill, but I would not be able to afford it without the support of my school, that is the only limitation to this nursery it was expensive for three full days of attending.


Massive thank yous to all the ladies at Cherubs that supported my daughter through her transition.

We have loved sending our son to Magic Nursery, he has really shined since attending Magic Nursery, with the ability to attend concerts, walks to the park, all forms of messy play and having one of the best appetites I know! He couldn't do this without the commitment and passion from everyone who works
at Magic. All members of staff are fantastic, friendly and really pull together to create a family atmosphere - from the second you enter the door to the second you leave.


We have had no issues during our time here and are only moving as we are emigrating (if only you could open a nursery in Australia!). Thank you for helping develop our son, we can see the benefit immensely from eating habits to words. All the best in the future. We will miss you!

Both our children have been in the care of Magic Muswell Hill from a young age. We are very enthusiastic about the nursery, the staff and the care provided. The rooms are well organised with great facilities for all ages, and the carers are knowledgeable and friendly. Our children have been extremely
happy to go there; they have grown in confidence and benefited from the fantastic range of structured activities available.
The management team and the room coordinators clearly put a lot of effort into planning the schedule and put some excellent events into the calendar, including external trips and festive shows. The opening hours of the nursery were the best that we had found during our research and really helped us as parents both working full-time.

My 3-year-old twin boys have attended Magic Nursery for the past few months and they have been so happy there. We moved them from another local nursery as we didn't feel that they were progressing as they should or having enough variety.
I can definitely say that there is lots of variety at Magic
Nursery, the staff are extremely attentive and both boys adore their key workers. They settled in very quickly and anytime I have needed any advice or support (i.e. potty training two toddlers!) they are always on hand.
As well as fun and playtime there is a very solid educational stance which I have really noticed.
I would definitely recommend Magic nursery.

Hi I'm Tracey the Nursery Manager.


I have been in the childcare industry for over 20 years, working my way up from student to nursery assistant, to room leader, deputy and now a Nursery Manager. I have worked in Australia for many years before returning to the UK in 2015 where I joined the Magic Daycare Nursery Group working alongside my colleagues to open our Muswell Hill nursery, I then joined the Whetstone team in 2016 and along with dedicated staff team we worked together to maintain our Ofsted 'Outstanding' rating for the 2nd time.


We have since joined the Bright Horizons family and our knowledge and development continues to grow as we are introduced to new things such as our 'Growing Programmes' and Boogie Mites. I am also the nursery SENCO and work alongside the local authority to support those little ones who may need additional support in their development.

I'm Charisse, the Deputy Manager here at Bright Horizons Muswell Hill. I have been working in Early Years Education for eight years. I studied for my Level 3 qualification in childcare and specialised as a special education needs coordinator with an enhancement on autism.
