We follow Ofsted's decision on the agreed number of spaces and staff ratio for children in each room and do not exceed the numbers because of health and safety. We utilise our outdoor space by ensuring that children use the garden according to their rooms eg when the preschoolers are using the garden the other 2 rooms will be indoors. We always use our discretion bearing in mind the safety of the children at all times.
It is not a legal requirement to provide a buggy shed, and there is a sign on the buggy shed door, that says "Buggy left at owners risk”. Nonetheless, we will put out notice for parents to fold their buggy in the shed to create space for others. With regards to the main gate, we are aware that the mechanism is faulty as it works sometimes and not at other times, and are in the process of getting it fixed. I am sorry about your experience that has upset you and made you feel anxious, it was not our intention for this to happen. As we were looking forward to you using our services and it had to end on the first day that your son started with us. It was all down to miscommunication, as our policy is that fees are paid in advance.
I tried to understand your situation and offered that you pay some of the money now (without stating a specific figure) or on the 20th of the month, but you insisted on terminating on the same day that your child started. I can only apologise again and wish you all the best in future.
