Situated in a purpose-built setting, with lots of green space, Bright Horizons Dandelions Day Nursery and Preschool provides high-quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

The nursery features a large outdoor space which allow the children boundless opportunities to explore the outdoors in all weather conditions and boasts their own forest school.

All-inclusive fees mean that you have less to pack on a busy morning, with everything from healthy lunches and snacks to branded nappies and wipes included.
The nursery in Andover has been awarded an Ofsted rating of ‘Good’ for their commitment to high quality childcare and education (June 2017).

Our daughter has been attending Dandelions for a year and we have been impressed with the warmth and care shown by staff. Communication via the app is good, e.g. meals, nappy changes, sleep times and a daily post about activities with pictures. Keyworkers also send progress reports which are helpful
and personal. The outside area is great and used all year round. The staff are always welcoming and we'd recommend them if you're looking for a smaller setting.

Our daughter has been attending Dandelions for almost 2 years now and we could not be happier with the support, love and care everyone shows to her. She bounces in when she goes and has such a lovely rapport with the staff. They know her so well and are so supportive of developing her learning opportunities.
Communication is good. We often get daily updates and observations every month, detailing what she's been learning and the next steps in her development. Our daughter loves to share what she's been up to and look at the pictures when she gets home.
The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The management team are always very helpful and quick to respond to any questions or queries. Our son will be joining later next year and we are looking forward to seeing his journey too.

Everything I could want in a nursery. 2 years now and hasn't ever had any issues or anything I would want to be different. Very glad we made the choice we did. Good food, good people, good atmosphere.

I could not be happier with the level of care my 4-year-old daughter gets from Bright Horizons Dandelions. She is excited to attend each day and the uploading of pictures and explanations of each day really helps to build a clear picture of what she gets up to. I would highly recommend it to anyone

My daughter has been attending Dandelions Nursery for nearly four months, and she is thoroughly enjoying her time there. Her progress has been remarkable, and the staff consistently provide excellent support. The outdoor space is ideal, she adores the gardens and spending time outside, which was a significant
factor in our decision to choose this nursery. The management and staff demonstrate genuine care for the children, and it is evident that they strive to do their best for each child. Additionally, it is commendable that the nursery offers a varied diet throughout the week. However, I would like to address a concern regarding the use of the app. I would greatly appreciate it if the app were regularly updated with information about my daughter's meals and nappy changes, as this helps me understand how her day has been. While I can inquire about these details when I pick her up, there are times when the staff member present may not have been around when certain events occurred.

The majority of the staff are really friendly and some work that extra mile. Unfortunately, it does seem understaffed and with my boy needing assistance with the feeding it does seem he is neglected. I was shocked a few weeks ago, a certain member of staff told me they just leave him to his own devices
and he will feed himself with no pressure. When I do arrive home he is starving and he eats plenty of food with my help.
The manager and staff are a credit to the nursery who are really good with my boy, especially our key worker who goes the extra mile.

A lovely setting with a nice big garden and so many different activities. All the staff is super friendly and caring. The kids get snacks and hot meals throughout the day, and parents receive daily updates on the app and during pick-up time.
My son has been attending for a few months now, 2 days a
week, and he is always so excited to go to nursery - he's learned so much already.
I definitely recommend Dandelions Nursery.

I absolutely love Dandelions and the staff, the setting is amazing, especially the outdoors area! My daughter has been going here since she was 5 months old, she is now 3 and a half. All the staff are amazing, not only for my daughter but for me as well. She has learnt so much and made such nice friends.
100% recommend them to anyone.

My son has been attending Bright Horizons Dandelions Nursery and Preschool since June 2023 when he was only 10 months. He started on 2 half days and was extremely shy to begin with and struggled with drop offs and settling, he now does 2 full days (thanks to the staff’s tremendous efforts to make this
possible for me due to work needs) and he’s a completely changed boy! He loves his key worker and everyone else! He’s so open to cuddling and socialising with staff and the other children which is amazing to see, considering he wouldn’t before. He’s changed massively at home too and is so open with family members. He’s come leaps and bounds since starting nursery and I cannot thank the team enough. Everyone who works at Dandelion’s are incredible and the most friendliest bunch! I love the app too, providing you with updates on your day and sending photos through, makes my day every time! I also love how the nursery provide everything the children need, the only thing I bring with me is spare clothes. Highly recommend!

Above and beyond - my son joined Bright Horizons Dandelions Nursery and Preschool just as he turned 4, he had never been in a childcare setting before so he found settling in very hard. The staff were amazing, they went above and beyond to work with him, and me, to make him feel safe and comfortable
there. Now he loves it and doesn’t want to leave to start big school. I wish I had started him long before I did. Fantastic nursery with wonderfully kind, dedicated staff, my son has come on leaps and bounds thanks to their kindness and dedication. Thank you all at Dandelions.

My Daughter has been attending for almost a year, in the preschool room. We both have been impressed by the setting, the range of activities and the support. The staff are enthusiastic, caring and knowledgeable.
I feel secure knowing that my child's needs are being met all day. I really like that
the nappies, wipes, snacks and everything are provided. I can leave my child's spare clothes bag. It has made being a busy working mum so much easier. I can check on her throughout the day on the app. I also like that all the staff even if they are not based in the room with her, know my child and welcome her.

We have a very good experience with Dandelion Nursery. From the beginning, my child's specific needs and requirements were taken seriously and he has been very well looked after in an environment where he is kept safe and healthy. The staff are always kind, cheerful and helpful and go above and beyond
to cater for us. The activities put on are varied and involve lots of different learning opportunities. Overall, we have been very happy.

All staff are always extremely helpful and very accommodating when needing any extra support or advice. The nursery always has loads of fun activities for the children every week. Cannot fault them in any way. Always informative with any updates of my child and with the nursery and staff.

Dandelions is the perfect setting for my toddler. She's been at the setting for a year now and her development and confidence has grown significantly. The nursery staff are absolutely wonderful, kind, caring and always about putting the children first. The food is high quality, great choice and loved

Dandelions have been a wonderful nursery for our son, who started at 9 months old. The staff, particularly his key person, have been wonderful and have communicated well with us throughout. We get regular feedback on our son’s progress and the staff are always happy to discuss further. Our son loves
going and clearly has a great time every day. Although it is a small nursery, the staff are very resourceful and provide a great variety of activities.

My son started at the nursery in January, 2022. He was able to attend prior to his start date for several settling in sessions with his key person. This really supported him with his transition from home to nursery life. My son has settled in so well at the nursery. He absolutely adores going. He has
such a great time, with his key person planning activities for him, following his interests and individual needs. The meals are so nutritious for the children and are prepared to suit his weaning stage. As a parent, I have access to the new parent app, which I love. I get updates throughout the day, of what he has been doing, how he has slept and also photos of him taking part in activities. The management team are so helpful with booking in visits or even extra sessions. Overall, I am so pleased with the nursery and would recommend.

Our little girl adores the ladies at the nursery. She runs down the path every morning and can’t wait to get in and begin her day. She has been taught some Makaton and has continued to use this as she has developed her speech, we are now keen for her to continue learning sign language. Our daughter's
speech and physical development have greatly improved since starting at nursery and the nursery ladies should take a large share of that credit. We genuinely have no doubt that this is a great nursery and we would recommend them time and again. Our little girls face every day, tells us that we made a good choice.

Fantastic place for your little ones to grow and learn. My daughter goes to Bright Horizons Dandelions Nursery and Preschool and absolutely loves it! Staff are well prepared, polite and engaging, always informing us of the daily progress through conversation and notes. Organisation is also on point,
especially given the difficult period we are currently in. I would highly recommend the nursery to anyone in the area looking for a safe and comfortable environment for your little ones.
