Bright Horizons Grove Lodge Burgess Hill Day Nursery and Preschool is located in Burgess Hill and provides care and education for children aged six months to five years. The nursery strives to provide a rich, stimulating environment where children feel inspired, valued and encouraged to achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

With bright, spacious play rooms and outdoor play areas, children are constantly learning and discovering. Both child- and adult-led activities encourage the children to learn through play in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) as set out by the Government.

Staff offer a range of experience which allows them to provide the best possible care and education for children at the nursery, where they can flourish and explore their personality and individuality. Each child is assigned a Key Person who is responsible for their learning and wellbeing during their time. Parents can meet with their child’s Key Person on a regular basis to follow their child’s development and progress at the nursery.

The nursery was awarded 'Good' in their May 2023 Ofsted report.

It wasn’t easy to drop my child off at nursery on the first day. Since then, I have been completely satisfied with the team at MightySaurus Nursery and would recommend them without hesitation.
The staff are all friendly, kind and caring. Everyone smiles and says hello to me when I arrive. This passionate
and warm attitude has very clearly translated to the approach they take with the children, my child truly looks forward to attending nursery each day. The patient, kind-hearted nature of the staff there truly create an environment where I am glad to have my child. The food is nutritious and tasty, courtesy of their very friendly chef. The daily updates in my child’s logbook are descriptive and I feel they bring their day to life. The facilities are immaculate and without reproach. The managers, not just friendly, also answered the difficult questions I asked regarding safeguarding and security. Top marks all around! I will be sending future children there, without a doubt.

We couldn’t be happier with MightySaurus Nursery. Our son started at one-year-old and he settled in very quickly. The team are very welcoming and the food is brilliant. We’re always kept well informed of his days and we’ve seen how much he’s developed socially since he joined. We would highly recommend
this nursery to anyone considering it.

My baby joined from 9 months old and we have not looked back. She loves the nursery routine and is so well settled. The staff so caring, they have become a second family. Covid-19 protocols have been great but not intrusive. We love the fact there is a nursery chef and kitchen on site. They run great
events to celebrate cultural differences and world events. Recommend.

My son absolutely loves going to MightySaurus; he has a great relationship with the teachers, and he settled in straight away. I love how I get a detailed breakdown of his day when I collect him, and he also gets involved. I would most definitely be using this nursery for my future children.

We could not be happier that we chose to send our daughter to MightySaurus. All the staff are so friendly, and they know all the children's names even if they work in a different room. The learning activities are fun and interactive, and our child's progression has been amazing. The online journal that
is updated daily is very useful. All friendly, the food provided by the on-site chef is great and caters for all dietary requirements.

My daughter has attended this nursery since she was 13-months-old and been very happy there. The staff are thoughtful, caring and sensitive to the needs of individual children. Staff are also familiar with those children who they don't work with every day (eg staff caring for 3/4-year-olds know mt toddler
well) which gives MightySaurus a family feel. We are always well informed of my daughter's progress, and daily activities are reported in impressive detail. We were particularly impressed by the nurseries handling of lockdown, and by their communications during that difficult time - this is testament to the excellent management team.

MightySaurus has excellent facilities, a fantastic outside space with plenty of toys and activities for the children to play with. The building itself is large with big open and light rooms with up to date and clean furniture. There is plenty of off-street parking at the site. The staff are well trained
and very attentive to the children's needs. Security is good with security cameras and fingerprint readers for access to the areas where children are looked after. All the meals are cooked on-site by their resident chef who provides an excellent and varied diet during the day. Our son moved from another nursery to this one and he has been much happier here.
I would have no hesitation in recommending MighySaurus Nursery.

My daughter attends the nursery for good 6 months now and she was very much attached to me before, so it was a hard process to part with her. While having settling sessions my daughter went through a lot of tears and resistance, but thanks to the extremely friendly staff that works in MightySaurus,
she managed to feel like home in the nursery and finished her sessions with a huge smile and happy face. I would definitely recommend the nursery and I would like to thank all the staff that are caring for children there.
Especially, my family wants to thank one member of staff who is a very cheerful and bright person, she always has a positive attitude and amazing warm energy. I think the nursery and kids are very lucky to have her in the team.
Again, thank you the MightySaurus team for all your hard work that is very much appreciated. You all are superstars.

I highly rate MightySaurus. I was quite nervous about putting my daughter into daycare as she's such a bad sleeper. They did a great job at getting her settled in straight away and giving her the time and patience she needed. The staff are professional, yet friendly and always take the time to tell
you about your child's day. It's a clean, modern building with lots of space for the children to play. I love how they encourage the kids to celebrate holidays and learn about different cultures. They also cook food on site and even have parental webcams for you to check-in during the day. An excellent nursery!

Excellent nursery. Initially, we researched about 5 of the nurseries in Burgess Hill, and MightySaurus turned out to be by far the best one. Great staff to child ratio, good security, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and my daughter absolutely loves it here. Recommended.

My daughter loves attending her nursery 3 days a week, where she constantly learns and develops her skills. The educational approach by fun and play make it more enjoyable for my daughter and I'm confident it will prepare her well for the future education establishments. The staff members are very friendly
and approachable, and there is good communication between parents and carers. I admit this is the best money spent for sending my daughter to Mightysaurus in Burgess Hill. Cannot recommend highly enough.

My little boy started here in January 2019 and he loves it. The staff are so reassuring and friendly and they ALWAYS have smiles on their faces.
The food is excellent with a wide range of different things for them to try and it's all healthy. They listen to the parents to help your child progress and

My eldest daughter was one of the first children to start at MightySauras. She has now been there three years. She absoultely loves it there and now my youngest goes there and also loves it.


I can not fault the staff at all they are fantastic with my girls.

Friendly and professional staff. Child has been happy since she started at 10 months and still there at 3 years old. I viewed several nurseries in the local area before opting with MightySaurus Nursery. I have seen many good reviews but I wanted to judge for myself. For me, the nursery stood out because it felt friendly, spacious, cosy in that there was a clean, carpeted floor and a good selection of toys on offer.
The staff seemed genuinely interested in my queries and concerns and I was pleased that the food was prepared fresh on-site, catering to my daughter's food allergies. By contrast, other nurseries had only small areas for babies, toys seemed dirty and a bit chaotic, food was ordered in and I would have had to supply certain items in addition to fees. Additionally, I felt safer with sending my child to MightySaurus Nursery.

I wanted to leave a review online because as a mum choosing a nursery, I know it is really important to hear firsthand experiences/feedback of the people/establishment responsible for your child. I have been absolutely blown away by MightySaurus.
Our daughter is greeted in the mornings with so much
warmth and enthusiasm and the staff genuinely care about the children, asking about their weekends/home life and taking an interest in the things they love to do outside of the nursery.
She always comes out of nursery beaming and chatting about her day, the activities they have done and who she played with. Having started at MightySaurus as quite quiet and shy, she is now developing the most wonderful personality and you can tell that MightySaurus really reinforce the morals you'd like to have at home.
A truly amazing nursery and I trust and appreciate the staff immensely.

I am happy to send my daughter to this nursery because I know that she is safe and well looked after. The nursery staff have an excellent relationship with the children and vice versa. My daughter is fed a variety of healthy foods. I am pleased that there are so many activities for her to enjoy. Another
plus for this nursery is the off-street parking making it less stressful to drop off and collect my child. I cannot recommend this nursery enough.

I moved from Melbourne Australia to the UK in 2016, as it was always my dream to live and work in the UK. In my spare time, I enjoy crocheting and seeing, and making my own clothes.

My name is Abi and I am the Deputy Manager at MightySaurus nursery. I am Level 3 and 4 qualified in Early Years and I have also had various training here. This includes behaviour management and Safeguarding training.


I have worked in childcare for over 7 years and have been at MightySaurus for 4 years. I oversee all rooms here and love caring and looking after all children of all ages. I have a passion for developing children’s play and learning so they can reach their full potential. In my spare time, I enjoy taking my dog on long walks in the countryside.
