Boat House Day Nursery has been purpose-built to offer a bright and stimulating environment in which children can develop towards the challenges of full-time education.

The facility includes a purpose-designed soft play area, an indoor adventure play area and a sensory theatre, while biometric and CCTV security offers parents additional peace of mind.

Boat House Day Nursery offers excellent facilities. Each room creates an environment that has been designed with a focus on the unique needs of children.
Outdoor play is an important part of the nursery's approach and extra-curricular activities include Spanish lessons, music, dance and movement.

There are a number of additional features that enhance their nursery facilities including a Sensory Theatre and a large indoor adventure play area, designed especially for their older children and not forgetting their babies and toddlers, they have a purpose designed soft play area.

To complement their facilities they also have an imaginative toy town, where their children's imagination has no boundaries, an area for parents to relax and have refreshments while visiting, and ample parking and drop-off zones.

I would recommend this nursery as they are a brilliant, understated people and they're always there to help you too. They have helped me and my child through so much and it has been a different year but they got a great routine and together, we all got through the hardest year.

Cannot recommended this nursery enough! I was very nervous about returning to work after maternity leave but our little girl loved it here from day one and the staff are very caring towards her, which was really reassuring. They have great, clean facilities and are always doing lots of fun activities.
I love all of the art work and crafts that she brings home for us. The app that they use is brilliant and is updated throughout the day so that we can see exactly how she is getting on. Honestly cannot fault it at all, very satisfied with our choice.

My sons been at the nursery two years, the staff are so kind, caring and my son is so happy. His speech has come on and he looks forward to go there, defiantly recommend. The attention the girls give to my son is unconditional, they do so many fun things, dress up, paint, outdoor play and the place
is lovely.

My daughter has been attending Boat House since she was 13-months-old and she leaves there now ready for school. Initially, it was difficult for her to settle and the staff were fantastic with her and myself when leaving her each time and I knew we had made the right choice with Boat House from that
point. She's built bonds with staff and settled and has really enjoyed going talking about the staff and friends she has made often.
The building itself is great with lots of toys and activities to keep them active with lots of fun learning ideas. The security there is great with fingerprint access only and parents can only access the room their child is in. Parents can also keep up to date with what their child is doing by the app they use where staff regularly update it with photographs/written updates.
The staff are very attentive and always have time to speak with parents about their child's needs/concerns etc. We have found them to always be very supportive and helpful.

My daughter has attended Boat House since she was one year old. Our only child and we were very keen to find a nursery that we felt comfortable leaving her.
The setting itself is great. Great sized rooms, filled with lots of toys/activities for the children to learn and develop. One of the details
which we loved was the security at the nursery - fingerprint entry system. Only authorised people (staff/parents/carers) could enter the building and then once inside non-staff people can only access the room that their child is based. They also have an app which you can see what your child has been doing throughout each day, how many nappy changes? How much have they eaten? What have they been up to?
The staff themselves are really friendly and supportive - to the children and to the parents! And the admin staff are also really friendly and helpful.
My daughter loves going to Boat House and we will all be really sad to leave in a couple of months.

It's absolutely the best nursery across the universe. After moving out from Dukinfield I have tried two other nurseries near home, but I have come back to the Boat House Day Nursery, as I can't find even similar care, not saying about better. All staff are absolutely amazing and helpful. My son is a
really high need baby and cries even if I go out without him to the other room, but he settled down fast in the nursery and is happy every day when goes to them. At Boat House, he learns everything really fast. My two daughters are in reception now, but previously attended the Boat House and they miss them a lot and still remember all the girls who took care of them.
I highly recommend this nursery and I think five stars is not enough.

My daughter has been at this nursery since she was 6 months old. The care is second to none - they are attentive to her development and she genuinely loves it.


They have been incredibly supportive of us as a family and I feel safe leaving her there. We have witnessed their policies around all aspects

of toddler behaviour - we've suffered bites and also had an episode where my daughter was the biter. They use recognised developmental psychology approaches and handle this perfectly.


I will be sad when she has to go to school.

My son attended this nursery for over year. Thought everything was fine until staff (including management) lied to me after my son was hurt on 3 different occasions. Their 'policies' were not followed.

Our setting is a brand new setting (Opening Jan 16) and this child attended from the start, our facilities and resources are of a high standard and we had a good Ofsted registration inspection which reflected on this


The parent has been very critical in her views as we accommodated her every wish so that her child was to be looked after to her standards, the child was bitten whilst in our care and she didn't like the response we gave or that we had to follow our biting policy, which is what we have to follow to show we support all children in our care.


During the time we cared for the child she was constantly praising the nursery staff for the progress the child had made and the level of care and attention they received, she never once said that she didn't like our menus or the standard of the nursery cleanliness.
We will hope that you will see this review as unfair and a malicious way to jeopardise the nursery setting. The staff and manager are upset with this review as they felt they worked alongside the parent in every way they could to make them feel secure.

Excellent nursery with excellent staff. My boy was very happy at this nursery from start to finish. Staff are excellent. I would highly recommend the Boat House, my little boys came on leaps and bounds learning and growing with other children and staff. The nursery was very clean and very secure with
high security, excellent friendly staff. Thanks to the staff my boys are all ready for big boy nursery now, thank you.

My son has been helped to develop so many skills since joining this nursery in January '16. He has grown in confidence and independence. He has made so many friends but has missed one little boy who left to join school. The staff have helped myself and son in so many areas of our lives and we can not

This is an excellent nursery, so well planned and managed, the staff are very welcoming and friendly, the nursery itself has beautifully designed rooms and hall ways to keep the children entertained, the security is high and has cctv and finger print scan which gives you peace of mind whilst your child
is there.


Love everything about this nursery and would recommend to any parent finding the right nursery for their child 100%. I am so happy my child goes here and she is going to learn so much being there.
