Rock A Tots is absolutely amazing, they have really accommodated my son and he has progressed so much. I am so thankful for all they are doing and the staff are so friendly and welcoming especially during the pandemic. They have always gone above and beyond for us and my son. Thank you so much Rock

Two of my children have attended Rock a Tots. My third will also attend when he arrives. I can't fault the nursery on anything whatsoever. The staff are always so friendly and go out of their way to accommodate my children's needs. They almost become a part of the family. They go the extra mile, without
even being asked. There are few places or people I trust to care for my children but Rock a Tots are right towards the top of that list. Even in these difficult times, I know my children will be treated no differently. I can't thank them enough.

We have had two children who have gone up through Rock A Tots now and would definitely recommend them as a provider to all we know. Our eldest attended from 7 months until he was of scupper age and then our youngest has been attending since she was 6 months and she is now just over two. The communication
is brilliant and we are updated. If ever we have mentioned developmental concerns (including when our eldest needed speech therapy), they have gone above and beyond to feedback to us and support us and our children. Both children have been enjoying their experiences there and carried out a wide range of activities. In the lockdown, we have had absolutely no concerns with the way they have been handling it and have a lot of respect for the whole team. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this nursery.

My son has been attending Rock a Tots for the last 2 years. He loves nursery and the staff there. He comes home with work frequently and he benefits from a range of developmental activities throughout the day. They have been quick to identify additional support needs in relation to speech and language
and support with referrals to services where necessary. They have managed the health and safety restrictions in relation to Covid robustly and sensibly which gave me confidence in my son attending whilst remaining safe.

Both of my daughters attend this nursery and absolutely love going. They are so well cared for and have lots of fun! My eldest is always coming home telling or showing me something new she has learnt that one of her teachers has taught her. Every week there is a painting or something she has made in
her bag and we love seeing their Tapestry! The staff are so friendly and approachable and take on board anything we request with immediate effect. My daughter always answers, 'go to nursery!' when I ask her what she wants to do for the day. I couldn't be happier with her development and I know my youngest will thrive there too, she is already loving it and goes in with huge smiles to the ladies who are there to greet her. We are so happy with the nursery we chose and would highly recommend to anyone.

A happy nursery where our daughter enjoys to go. The staff always seem very friendly and genuinely seem to care about the children. My only suggestions would be better air conditioning facilities in the summer and a healthier diet provided.

My son has been at Rock a Tots nursery since he was nine months old. He loves going into nursery and is so animated when he comes home telling me all about his day. He is now two. Rock a Tots have encouraged his progression in learning by providing fun activities and good relationships between him and
his key nursery care providers. All staff at Rock a Tots have been so friendly and always helpful if I have had any concerns at all. I know that my son is happy, well looked after and is enjoying his time at nursery.

My daughter has gone here since she was 9 months old, she is now 2 and gets excited to go in the mornings and always comes out with a smile at the end of the day. From the first viewing, we felt at ease and loved all the facilities and general atmosphere at the nursery. The staff are all so friendly
and are really supportive with things like potty training etc. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Rock a Tots to anyone looking to send their child to nursery, it’s brilliant!

So, so impressed with Rock a Tots. As a first time mum returning to work, I was very worried about leaving my little girl (then 11-months-old). All of the staff made me feel confident that she was safe, well looked after and I soon learned she was very happy at nursery too. Within 2 weeks I almost wished
she was attending more days! The staff are approachable, helpful and considerate always. My little girl (now 18-months) learns so much at nursery and her return following the COVID closure had a positive impact on her development - evident straight away. I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough and we are very happy with the provision. Communication is clear and the staff are always happy to deal with any queries (even a worried mum ringing multiple times a day). My little girl always has a good day at nursery and is always happy upon pick up.

My daughter is about to finish her time at Rock a Tots to move on to primary school. She has attended the nursery since 10-months-old and the service they have provided has been excellent. Not only has she made lovely friendships she has also developed a wide range of skills that have set her up for
the next stage of her learning journey. We cannot recommend this nursery enough as they provide such a high-quality service.

If you are looking for a nursery to send your child to, look no further - you have found the best one in Plymouth. Rock a Tots are the friendliest and most professional nursery I’ve come across. The managers are approachable and understanding of the needs of the parents, and the team are kind and caring
of the children in their supervision. My little girl loves going there and I know she’s very well looked after. She has developed in so many ways and I know that the team who work there have played a massive part in this. I can’t thank Rock a Tots enough for all their hard work and I look forward to seeing my little girl grow under their care.

Fantastic nursery setting! Both my sons started here 2018, my youngest was about 8 months old. It’s very daunting to leave such young children but the staff were amazing and made me feel at ease going back to work. Both my boys recognise the nursery if we drive by and get excited at the thought of going.
Very professional. Food must be good as the boys always comment on having yummy snacks and lunch. I’ve recommended to my friends and family.

My son, now nearly 18 months old, started Rock a Tots at about 9 or 10 months old and he loves it. The staff in the Cubs and Bunnies rooms are wonderful. They were keen to know what his favourite things are (songs, food, etc) so they could make him feel more at home and were amazing and patient with
naps as he used to be very difficult to put in a cot. They just cuddled him and rocked him as much as needed. He is back to having a few tears in the morning having returned after the lockdown hiatus, but I fully trust them to cheer him up as soon as he is inside.
The nursery has a lovely warm feeling to it and they never made me feel stupid for calling multiple times a day when he was settling in. They are as strict and clean as you can be when you have babies and toddlers running around, so I feel safe sending him there even during this time.
They also provide vegan meals for him and were more than happy to use reusable nappies on him for the few months that we used those. Very happy!

My daughter has been attending Rock a Tots for 18 months now and loves it!. The team are fantastic and great with her. They have been really supportive with regards to potty training her recently.
It speaks volumes when your child arrives is nursery happy and leaves happy!

This is such an amazing nursery, they have always been able and willing to accommodate my daughter.


They are always prompt at responding to queries or requests, we receive a lovely warm welcome in the mornings and an energetic review at the end of the day. My daughter loves going to nursery, she

has blossomed into a friendly, thoughtful, kind little girl all thanks to everyone here. The staff go above and beyond to suit any child’s needs, at one point a hairdressing station was made when the children were into playing hairdressers (amazing!) and they are permanently being taught without even realising, the energy and enthusiasm all the staff have is in abundance!


People may think picking the right school is important but I feel picking the right nursery is far more important, as in my opinion Rock a Tots has given my daughter the perfect grounding to start school.


The team here have supported my daughter and I in so many ways.


Team Rock a Tots you are definitely beyond the best!

As all parents, I’m very choosy about where and who I leave my baby with and she can be very fussy with people she doesn’t trust. Going back to work from maternity leave is hard enough but I have no worries about leaving my daughter under Rock a Tots care. The staff are friendly, caring, alert and form
lovely bonds with the children. My 8 month old is happy when she is dropped off and collected and I can see how cared for and comfortable she is through the online tapestry. The staff invest their time and attention into the children, helping them learn and grow.

I was recommended this nursery by a few people and haven’t been disappointed since my son started just over a year ago.
It seemed a very easy transition with me going back to work as they continued my routine with ease.
He loves going in and completes various activities each day he goes.
When the
weather was nice a few weeks ago he was out in the garden each day playing with various toys and enjoying the rabbits.
I love the variety of food that he gets each day and he certainly enjoys eating it all.
All the staff are friendly and take a genuine interest in how my child is.
Each day I receive a report on what and how much he had eaten, his naps and activities.
Would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents.
