Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Tatsfield is an Ofsted 'Good' nursery (November 2021), located on Church Hill, Tatsfield (located just 1 mile from Biggin Hill), on the Kent/Surrey border. The nursery prides itself on employing a top quality staffing team who are well qualified, experienced practitioners/teachers who have a passion for childcare.

The nursery offers care for children aged three months to pre-school age, featuring rooms which reflect the seven areas of learning described in the Early Years Foundation Stage. All facilities and rooms are designed to be accessible to every child at the nursery.

During their time at the nursery, each child is allocated a key person to support them as they learn and develop. The nursery also offers balanced, home-cooked meals and snacks.

Children can benefit from state-of-the-art learning resources, a sensory room and additional clubs including: yoga, music & movement, gardening, ball skills, phonics and Big Chef, Little Chef.

    Monkey Puzzle Tatsfield’s full day and half day sessions are competitively priced. We believe that our standard of care makes us a stand out nursery in the local area. Children accessing a full 5 day nursery week benefit from a discounted rate and are charged on the basis of a 50 week year.
    You will be pleased to hear that we are eligible to receive government funding so children can access 15 hours education and care per week starting the term after their second or third birthday. We will also be accepting the new 9 month old funding as from 1 September 2024.


    Monkey Puzzle Tatsfield, also accept all major childcare vouchers, including Sodexho, Computershare & Accor, as well as the governments child care account and other workplace benefit schemes.

My little boy loves it here, has made great friends with children and staff, eats well and has developed amazingly. The staff have been so supportive of me and my little boy. I couldn't ask for more. My little girl will be going soon!

Our daughter joined the nursery in June this year and is absolutely loving it! She gets to do a variety of different themed activities every day, the staff are all wonderful with her and she looks like she has an absolute blast on the diary updates we get everyday!
I was so anxious as she was quite
young starting, but the team made her feel so welcome and relaxed that soon she couldn't wait to get out of my arms and into theirs a drop-off! Staff are great at communication and my little girl adores her key worker and all of the rest of the nursery team too! She is also so great with eating and trying new things which I think is from trying lots of new food at nursery and she has even got to do some baking herself! She's learned actions to childrens songs too which is so cute to see!
Would highly recommend Monkey Puzzle Tatsfield and all of the wonderful team! Thank you for making my daughter's nursery journey so successful.

My daughter has attended for 2 years and we couldn't be more thrilled with her experience. Ever since new management have come in we have seen a direct impact in the nursery. Parents are more involved, excellent communication and my daughter has grown in confidence. her learning within the nursery has

Amazing nursery! All the staff are lovely and welcoming. The food is amazing and the nursery is always so clean. My child is in toddlers and he always says how much he loves it and always talks about his friends and teachers.

The staff at Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery are wonderful! They are always cheery and enthusiastic. As a nervous first time mother putting my child in nursery, they were so supportive and caring. The new Blossom App is fantastic, to receive a detailed daily diary and we look forward to receiving updates
of our daughters 'Golden Moments!', its been very rewarding to see her development and confidence build over the last few months. Would highly recommend.

We love Monkey Puzzle! It’s a safe and secure setting for little ones, they have a great balance of learning and play both indoors and outdoors and fantastic food. And the new Blossom system is a great way to keep track of daily activities and achievements! The nursery staff are amazing, we would highly

I have found the nursery to offer a very supportive, exciting, and varied learning environment for my child. They particularly enjoy the outdoor projects and forest-school-type activities that they offer, as well as cooking, reading, crafts, and well-being activities. Baby spa and animal yoga were

The preschool room is going from strength to strength and my child is extremely happy to attend nursery. The children are lucky to be able to engage in exciting activities on a daily basis. Information is fed-back to parents using an app. The children are working towards improving language and introduction
of phonics but also equal importance seems to be placed upon mental health, emotional development and resilience. As a parent, I am really impressed. The staff seem genuinely enthusiastic in creating and developing activities eg. gardening, cooking and really helping the children understand the world around them through play.

My son has loved his time at Monkey Puzzle Tatsfield, he’s come home happy and tired! The food is good, staff are excellent and the outdoor play area is brilliant. We love that they do events like Mother’s Day tea, Father’s Day breakfast, Christmas concert, summer bbq and a graduation ceremony. I have
also had excellent feedback from day one as to how he is doing. The only recommendation I have would be to possibly introduce some day trips out of nursery.

My daughter spent an amazing 3 years at Monkey Puzzle and enjoyed every day spent there.
Staff are personable and build great connections with the children. They support all areas of development with care and consideration whilst keeping things fun!
I highly recommend this nursery and we are all
set to send our second child soon.
My daughter has been a fussy eater in the past but the food has her trying all sorts of new meals that I couldn’t get her to eat. Big thumbs up!

Very happy with the nursery. The meals are great, tasty (in my daughter's opinion), vary each week. Great and friendly staff. The teachers have great contact with my daughter, good atmosphere. I value the way any conflicts are handled (between children). Huge bonus for onsite kitchen, lovely playground
and good facilities and play area indoors.
