Farcet Village Nursery is a warm and friendly childcare service, located in the rural village of Farcet, Cambridgeshire.

Managed by the Early Years Alliance, the setting provides flexible, affordable and quality childcare for children aged between 2-4 years-old.

They provide places for children who are eligible for 2 year funding (including the new working parents code), as well as Universal Funding for 3/4 year olds - and accept Extended Entitlement (30 hours). There are places available for those on a fees basis too.

Farcet is Ofsted Registered (Graded Good in its last inspection, June 2022), and follows the Curriculum known as the 'EYFS' (Early Years Foundation Stage) to provide exciting and stimulating activities through the key principle of 'Learning through Play'.

Early Years Alliance staff have all been employed through 'Safer Recruitment' and have DBS Certificates linked to the update service.
Upon taking up employment; a 6 month probationary period is in place; and during this time staff are required to complete training in:

- Basic Child Protection (Local Authority)
- Safeguarding (Alliance training)
- Health and Safety (Alliance training)
- Basic Food Hygiene
- First Aid

All of these come with varied renewable dates ranging from every 2 - 3 years.

My child enjoys playing at pre-school meeting and making new friends from around the village who also attend Brightfields. My child enjoys painting and taking part in messy play. They enjoy being in the garden exploring in the large sand tray and visiting big school to play on the trim trail and field.
My child is happy to interact with the ladies who look after him taking part in group activities singing and looking at books together.
