Happy Days Nursery - Cheswick Village is a purpose-built nursery located next to Wallscourt Farm Academy and within the retail and residential complex of Cheswick Village.

The safe and warm nursery environment allows children to develop and play, surrounded by caring experienced staff who are attentive and fully focused on each child's individual needs and routines.

The age-appropriate Explorer and Adventurer rooms allow free flow access to the spacious outside areas, which provide endless scope for children to create and build their own miniature worlds and environments.

The on-site chef provides fresh and nutritious meals to support the healthy growth and development of each child. The children can also be involved in food preparation and learn how to be independent at mealtimes. Special diets can be catered for.

We visited a few nurseries and settled on Cheswick Happy Days. I am glad that we did as the staff are very friendly, they all know and care about our child. We enjoy seeing the updates of our child enjoying their day at nursery while we are at work. They also offer extended hours for drop off and pick
up.

Such a lovely nursery with amazing staff. Although I'm not there during the day with him, I get a sense he really enjoys nursery and the time he spends there. The staff is so nice, always taking the time to do comprehensive handovers at pick up and they don't rush you. They follow your routines and
requests, which is amazing.

In my opinion, this nursery is very safe and clean, the teachers' communication with the children is good, and most importantly, my child feels good there, but I think the education part should be more.

My son has been attending this nursery for just over a year and loves it here. It's safe, clean, happy and a lovely environment. All the staff are brilliant and my son comes home happy after every session. They do great food and have a lovely garden. I know my son is in good hands when here. He has
excelled since starting here and improved in confidence and speech.

Very happy with our experience so far. Staff are positive, friendly, caring and informative. The atmosphere is very good and our child is very happy there. We are kept up to date with how he is getting on via an app and telephone calls so the communication is also good. There seems to be plenty of activities
for him to do and he has developed really well so far under the care/supervision of Happy Days.

We are delighted with the nursery: the staff are very caring, there are great activities, the food is excellent and dietary requirements are well catered for.
We feel very lucky to have this gem on our doorstep and have recommended it to our friends.
It is good value for money although more expensive
than some other options in the area.

My daughter gained many skills from happy days, such as speaking English, learned how to help herself with many things, and learned to solve problems. She goes to nursery happy because she knows that she will play, sing, dance, and meet her friends so that she can do new and fun activities with them.

Happy Days Cheswick have been brilliant from day 1 of our daughter attending. The nursery environment itself is lovely, there is a great range of activities planned for each day and the staff are so friendly and approachable. Handovers and feedback in person and through the app is always good. I couldn't
ask for anything more from them.

Whilst it took a little while to settle, Harry is now having such a brilliant experience at Happy Days in Cheswick Village. He’s so busy every time we collect him and always seems to have lots of fun. We really appreciate how well looked after he is by everyone in his room, especially three staff members.

The standard overall at the nursery is excellent. I have one stand-out moment which was during my son's settling-in period and slightly beyond. I was incredibly anxious about leaving him and probably stayed with him for longer than 'normal' however the staff were so supportive and understanding they
made me feel so reassured and that I was leaving him with people who cared. He's been there over a year now and I have nothing but praise for the team and how they look after my son. He loves it there and always seems to have had a great day when he's picked up.

Our daughter has attended this nursery since she was 9 months old, going through from the baby room to currently being in the pre-school age room. I was breastfeeding when she started and really nervous about her settling in but they really helped with the transition and I quickly felt comfortable leaving
her there. The staff are really good, especially one member of staff, in particular, who has been with our daughter in different rooms and always asks us how our daughter is doing. All of the staff give thorough feedback at the end of the day and our daughter talks fondly about the people she sees at nursery. The manager is great and always welcoming, she knows who all the children and parents are and makes me feel comfortable when we arrive there each time. They are really strict with safeguarding and ask you to put your phone away whenever in the nursery which I find really reassuring.

Both my sons and daughter have been to this nursery and can’t praise enough how well the staff and the structure of the nursery are, the brilliant routines with the children, good communication with parents and how loving/caring the staff our to each child! As a mother makes me so happy to leave my
child knowing how well they are looked after here! Such a lovely and safe environment for them too. Great nursery for all ages.

My name is Shai, and I’ve worked in nurseries for just over 6 years. I started as a level 3 practitioner, then went on to be a Room Manager, and worked my way up into management. I have a passion for early years and supporting children to learn and develop through holistic play. This is such an important age to ensure the children are ready for their transition to school. I have undertaken a variety of training, such as safeguarding, first aid paediatric, first aid at work and food hygiene.
