Teddie Tots Day Nursery provides parents and their children with a warm and welcoming nursery setting, providing children with care and support during their early years.

Staff at Teddie Tots Day Nursery carefully plan around each child's individual needs to help them to deliver sensitive learning experiences and to support child-initiated and spontaneous play activities.

During their time at the nursery, meals are freshly prepared on-site daily to ensure children's nutritional needs are met.

Staff are DBS checked and Pediatric first-aid trained, both of which are updated annually. While staff participate in courses regularly to ensure their knowledge and training is up-to-date and that children are provided with the best care and learning facilities.

Teddies tots have been great with our little one who was initially so shy in public and really attached to a home setting. My daughter was unrecognisable within 3 months. She wanted to go back to nursery on many evenings and would regularly include her key workers in family discussions. The variety
of food offered at nursery is amazing and the fact that you can track your little ones consumption and toilet routine has been reassuring.

Our daughter has been at Teddies Tots for a year now and she absolutely loves her time there. Rushing to get her shoes out at home each morning ready to go to Nursery. The staff are wonderful and so engaging with the children and provide regular updates on their daily activities throughout the week,
the activities are very varied and things I never would have thought to do at home. She always comes home with a smile on her face and we love there is a dedicated room for soft play for them to burn off the excess energy. Weekly she comes home with new skills she is clearly learning at nursery and wants to practice at home. Thank you so much to all the staff especially in babies and toddlers, we all appreciate you so much!

My son recently started at Teddies Tots Day Nursery, he has really settled well and the staff have made this transition a pleasure as we know it can always be difficult during the first couple of weeks. He has settled very well and has a smile on his face every drop off and pick up. Looking forward

I couldn't be happier with my daughter's nursery, which my son also attended. The staff are consistently attentive and maintain a clean, welcoming environment. The recent addition of the soft play area has been a fantastic update, offering endless fun and development opportunities. The nursery provides
a wonderful variety of activities that engage children and encourage learning through play. I'm so pleased with the care and experience both of my children have had here.

My son started at Teddies Tots Day Nursery in January and they have honestly been so amazing at helping him settle in. They are very patient and listen to what his needs are. I highly recommend this nursery especially as it's not a chain, all of their care and attention goes into this place.

I would highly recommend Teddies Tots Day Nursery for your little one. From the minute I stepped in the door I felt at ease. Children are happy and have lots of interaction and fun with staff. The Nursery is clean and so nicely laid out. There are different areas but yet it's very much an open plan
and children can see the next room they will go into making it less scary of a transition when the time comes. They do so many activities with the children and really do focus on each child's development giving detailed monthly reports and advice to parents if asked. The manager is also hands-on and works with the children too. I see children running up to her asking her to play also. Cannot recommend more. I am so pleased my little one is so happy at Teddies Tots Day Nursery. Thank you.

My daughter loves going to Teddies Tots Day Nursery. She loves all the staff and has grown so much in many ways over the last few years. Would highly recommend. I have advised some of my local friends to use Teddies Tots also.

Our daughter attended Teddies Tots Day Nursery from 2020-2024 before she went off to primary school and our son joined in 2023.
Both children have enjoyed and continue to enjoy their time at Teddies Tots, and we can really see how much they've developed since joining.
The staff are friendly and I'm
confident both of my children felt safe and happy at Teddies Tots which is exactly what we wanted from a nursery.
A range of activities are offered each week and it's clear that the staff put a lot of time into their planning for each week.

We really value the care and consideration given to our children at the nursery. The staff are careful to work with us on their developments (like nap changes and potty training) which makes us feel so empowered as parents and also really well cared for. We love the nursery and the staff feel like family.

This is great nursery, our little girl has flourished there and the staff are very supportive. It has a soft play and a small garden with play equipment. They are very focused on education and we receive regular updates. We get a sense that the staff really care about our child. I am also happy with

Teddies Tots Day Nursery is like a family environment. All the staff, including the owners, knows every single child's name. They are the most caring and supportive group of workers I have ever met. They are always there to help and develop the child but also help and support the parents too!
My daughter
runs in with a big smile on her face every day, she can articulate why she likes each member of staff and talks about all the fun and engaging activities she's taken part in.
They regularly post updates, pictures, detail their planning for the week and they encourage as many of those similar/related activities to carry on at home too.
My daughter is a very happy and confident little girl and I do think the staff at Teddies Tots play a huge part in that.
I will be so sad when my daughter goes to school but she will be ready, she is used to wearing a uniform, can spell her name, knows how to treat people kindly and respectfully, knows how to name and manage her emotions - thank you Teddies Tots!

We've been so pleased and impressed with the standard of care at Teddies Tots Day Nursery since our son started there aged 2. Before joining, there was complete transparency from management about the waiting list and available dates for him to start. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the facilities
are great for the children's learning and physical development - the new soft play area looks particularly great! We love the use of the app for finding out about the week's learning plan, seeing photos of our son and seeing what he's had to eat each day. He's settled really well thanks to an all-round great experience!

Teddies Tots Nursery in Watford has exceeded my expectations. The staff are amazing, friendly and so helpful! They keep you up to date on the app and adhoc, all you need to do is ask and they'll send you any additional updates! I feel completely at ease sending my kids here. My firstborn (who has been
attending for over a year) runs up to staff and cuddles them all the time, which really reassured me he enjoys nursery and is well looked after. They also are so helpful with any concerns you have around your child's development and really dedicate their time to support you and your little ones. Have just sent my second son too who is settling well. Would recommend to anyone!

Our little boy started when he just turned 1. He's now just turned 2 and has moved up through 2 rooms so far. He has loved his time in every room and has made such close bonds with staff and children. I feel so at ease knowing he's having fun at nursery. He only does a few days a week but I think he'd
go every day if he could! His speech amazes me and I believe a massive part of that is due to him being at nursery. You can tell the staff really have a passion for working with children which is lovely to see! Couldn't recommend this nursery more!

Very well ran, kids seem to love it. Only criticism would be a smoother transition when collecting children, you input a time of collection yet sometimes you can wait 20 minutes per child to collect. App allows us to understand what's going on at all times, foods eaten and sleep had etc.

My daughter started at Teddies Tots last October in the Babies group and has absolutely loved it there since the first day! The open-plan setup of the nursery is lovely, the age groups are separated but in a way that they can still all see each other which makes it feel really inclusive. All the staff
are lovely but I have to call out two staff members in particular who have been pivotal in settling my daughter into nursery. She gets excited at the mention of their names at home and can't wait to get through the door in the morning! The nursery are great at planning multiple activities for the children and will always share their plans for the week as well as keeping us updated with the occasional photo. I couldn't recommend Teddies Tots enough - communication is great, the staff are lovely and most importantly my daughter thoroughly enjoys going every day.

Lovely nursery and lovely staff. My nephew attended for 3+ years and loved it and now my toddler has joined the family too. Staff are very friendly and caring. Feel really comfortable leaving her there. Loads of activities to engage the children and learn. Wider variety of healthy food available. They
are great at accommodating personal preferences for your child. Frequently get pictures which is really nice to see them having fun. Brilliant nursery!

Absolutely wonderful staff and great positive environment for my daughter to learn and grow. She is really happy at the nursery and excited to go. They have catered to her vegan diet and there are always fun themes and activities for them. The outdoor space is slightly limited but this cannot be helped
and location is great that we can walk from home. Would highly recommend!

Teddies Tots is an amazing nursery, my son has been going for 2.5 years now and he is thriving and learning so much and is in a very happy environment and has developed close connections with all of his carers, who show such care for my son you can tell they all have a great bond with him which makes
going to work much easier! He is learning whilst doing it with fun and play at the heart of everything, nothing is too much trouble for the staff and the nursery manager will happily put in catch-ups when you need them and discuss any issues, all round a great experience, will be very sad to leave when he goes to school!

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Hello I am Chloe the nursery manager for Teddies Tots Nursery. I am level 3 qualified in childcare and education and have been working in daycare settings for more than 11 years. Throughout the years I have worked my way up to nursery manager completing many courses to develop my knowledge and to support the families I work with. I have now been a nursery manager for over 6 years so have lots of experience in this role. My passion is for the children and families who come through the setting supporting all families through the early milestones before the children head off to “big school” I also have a passion for mentoring a staff team to provide them with opportunities to grow and develop to bringing out their passions so the children and families receive the best care and education possible. We have a fantastic team and one which I am very proud to be working with.


In my personal life I enjoy walking, running and generally keeping fit and healthy and try to promote this with our children and families too. I also enjoy knitting and watering my many house plants.
