Thank you for your review. These early years are precious, and time does fly! You are your daughter's lifelong teacher, and we thank you for letting us be a part of it. We always strive to make learning magical through creativity. Don't forget we have a Kids Play Now Club based in the Eltham Centre, mornings Monday to Friday during holidays too for 1-8 year olds so we can still keep the magic going even when at Primary School. Watch out for our Crafty-art Graduation Party! It's a tear-jerker but also a celebration of becoming a 'Wise Wizard'!

We do small group activities focusing on early communication and language. It's wand-erful to hear that you believe your child to be thriving at Crafty Wizards Pre-School. Thank you for recommending this to others, as a small set of pre-schools that have grown in the Eltham and New Eltham area it really does help when generic larger chains move into the area. Did you know that we provide snacks all day for our children, fresh, organic, locally sourced where possible fruit and veg, along with dry snacks and milk/ water? 'Overall amazing'. Our team will be over the moon on their broomsticks! Thank you for taking the time to write this review. Settling in can be a tricky time for some children and parents. We have social stories, transitional objects and a range of strategies in our cauldron. Our staff have had training in attachment theories, it is lovely to hear that you think your daughter is now settled and that she loves our activities. We look forward to our annual Magical Movers Day, Equality Week, Healthy Body Happy Me Week and Graduation for our leavers.

Thank you for your review and for saying that our 'care of the children is exemplary'. Our staff team are consistently training to develop their knowledge and support for our Crafty Wizards. This month alone staff have been training in Forest School, Ofsted workshop in London, safeguarding course, music Boogie Mites training, Interactive Music Making and we are going to the Childcare Expo shortly! Learning never ends and nor should it! We teach our Crafty Wizards to have an open mindset and talk about something called the 'power of yet', just because we struggle at something now and think we can't do it, that just means we haven't mastered it 'yet'.

Our team have watched a speech by Rita Pierson talking about the importance of relationships in life, particularly the relationship between children and their teachers. Take a look on social media if you have time. Our champion team work hard to provide learning opportunities for all our unique children. We have a range of take-home learning opportunity bags, please speak with your key person to take one home if you have not already. Wow! A review like this gives us fuel in our broomsticks to continue in our mission to make learning magical! We opened a new preschool in Alderwood in November and a creche for 1-8-year-olds, it's been a busy time, and a review like this makes us very happy. We are still a small set of 'family' style pre-schools, and management and our director are all early years trained, we are not a large corporate chain and like to think that we have a big heart and strong local connections. There is no greater endorsement than 100% recommend! We never sit on our laurels though, look out for new initiatives and opportunities coming soon, including a February half-term club! Our staff use a range of strategies to help support settling in and confidence. We are happy to read that you have been seeing our daily updates with activities set up and the children in action. We love smiles at Crafty Wizards! We are so glad that your son settled in quickly after a troubled start at another nursery. We are always thinking of new ways to plan activities around the interests and needs of our Crafty Wizards. Some of our pre-schools have celebrated Chinese New Year, Winnie the Pooh Day and Pizza day is coming up too! We have just ordered caterpillars for our spring learning activities, our 'Farm in a box' learning opportunities are on the horizon too! July will be here before you know it and although it is a sad time saying goodbye, we have a magical celebration at our Graduation for our leavers!

We do work hard to support all our unique Crafty Wizards. We have been shortlisted by the National Day Nurseries Association for how we support children in play, with a focus on those that need additional support with their learning. We use strategies from I-Can, Small Talk, all our staff have received Makaton training this year and we have a number of strategies to promote early communication. We have been shortlisted for the Play & Learning – Supporting Children with SEND by the National Day Nurseries Association and they interviewed us yesterday asking, "What do you want your children to be able to do when they leave pre-school". The answer for us is to have children that want to learn and enjoy it, have grown in confidence, independence and resilience, have the tools to make healthy attachments and connections with peers and adults. It is magic to hear that you have seen your daughter's confidence and independence grow in such a short time and a parent's recommendation to other parents is always heart-warming to hear from our hard-working team. We do aim to give the personal touch, not being a large chain we pride ourselves in our mangers and team knowing the interests and needs of our Crafty Wizards. We have a number of events coming up to celebrate our ten years and provide opportunities for our parents to come into our pre-schools again. Our next event is our superhero day. Look out for information. Soon there will also be... a Crafty cakes day, disco day, magical movers week and graduation! Oh and we do forest school once a week and play phonics now too!
