We take parent partnerships seriously, you are your child's life long teacher. Out Magic Circle Time activities daily and phonics sessions help to develop our children's early communication skills. We use simple Makaton signs and symbols at pre-school to support language development. We aim to make learning magical, look out for our Easter treasure hunt in our local park in the holidays - there's a free egg at the end of it!

5 stars in all areas! Separating from your child can be an anxious time, it is lovely to hear that your daughter is settled. At Crafty Wizards we have our getting to know your children questionnaire before starting, our settling in booklet so that your child can get familiar with some of the places, faces and spaces at pre-school. Our activities that are planned around our children's interests and needs are usually the best tool to help settle our children. We work together with families to support our unique children. Look out for our Easter treasure hunt at our local park during the holidays, we are giving away 250 eggs!

We are a small pre-school, not a large corporate chain, we have around 20 children in a session and we think that this makes us have the personal touch. Our Crafty Wizards (children)! It is lovely to read that, although you were anxious, your daughter settled well, and you grew in confidence with our partnership. We post pictures on our closed Facebook page to update you on activities, have our online Parent Zone App for observations and assessments, along with Zoom meeting opportunities. It is magical to hear that you feel that we have offered a safer place for your son to grow in confidence in a calm and supportive environment. We are a Early Years Quality Mark awarded pre-school and consistently strive to offer learning opportunities that are fun, engaging, challenging, supportive and creative. Did you know we achieved are one of only a couple of PVI pre-schools to have gained the Mayor of London's Bronze award for Healthy Eating? We now provide a range of locally sourced fruit and veg, dry snacks and fruits, milk etc all supported with visual symbols to support speech and language. We also have a mud kitchen (re-opening shortly due to Covid-19), a sheltered outside area and shortly we hope to open a new outdoor cabin! Watch this space!

Spell-endid! Thank you for your 5 stars in all areas! We have been thinking creatively to ensure there are opportunities still to communicate with parents, we now have the option for parent online video meetings along with Covid-19 safer opportunities for face to face meetings if needed for the support of your Crafty Wizard. Our learning rucksacks continue to roll out and we are hoping to do some live storytelling sessions! Some of our practitioners have enjoyed recording videos, circle times, phonics during lockdowns. How 'wand' - erful! Thank you for your review. We are happy to provide locally sourced fruit and veg for all our children, along with an array of other healthy choice foods for snack times. Did you know that we just received the Mayor of London's Bronze Award for Healthy Eating? We are one of few in Greenwich and are now working on our Siliver Award. We are adding additional facilities outside, fingers crossed for our outdoor cabin being installed shortly. It is lovely to hear that your grandson has developed in such a short time, social skills are an important prime area in the early years and we provide many opportunities for children to do this in a fun and safe environment. It has been a tricky time for all with Covid-19 and it is nice to hear that you believe that we have done everything that we can to make it a safer environment. We invested in new Covid-19 safer equipment such as hand wash sinks, children’s toys and fogging machines for example. Along with introducing new small bubbles, additional staff to manage these, additional cleaning, daily Covid-19 safer questionnaire and much more. We are proud to still be able to offer a stimulating environment where our 'Crafty Wizards' can have fun, be challenged, supported and be Covid-19 safer. Thank you for your positive recommendation.
