I am sorry to hear of your son's socks, we do struggle with mud especially in these winter months and where we are situated by the trees and the muddy side of the play area we have recently power washed the steps and we always hover and mop the whole of the inside play area every day, hopefully with the spring coming this will improve the muddy situation.
