The Nursery is situated inside The Weir Link community centre, not far from Clapham South tube. It's a bright, open plan setting with separate areas for different age groups and a large garden.

The children enjoy lots of varied activities with the experienced staff, from messy play in the mud kitchen to sensory ice, yoga, science experiments, growing herbs, and more! Parents get involved too, reading stories to the children in their first languages.

A dedicated chef provides all the children's meals using recipes from LEYF’s nutritious menu.

Funding & Fees Guide for Weir Link Nursery & Pre-School

  • Fees for Under 3 year old's is £1,734.85 for 5 full days and £1229.28 for Over 3 years of age

  • Our minimum sessions are 2 full days. We cater to children under 5 years of age. The fee structure is split as under 3's and over 3s.


    We are open 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm. We are open all year and closed during Christmas and Bank holidays.

Excellent place for us to leave our daughter. Our son has already been through the nursery and it was without hesitation that we chose it again.

Really wonderful nursery! Everyone is incredibly kind and caring, and they push the children just enough to help development, but in a very supportive environment. The staff turnover is amazingly low considering shortages we always hear about in the press - only a handful of teachers have left in the
past 3 years, and most of those to take up promotions at other nurseries within the group. They are excellent at keeping parents informed, updates on the app multiple times per day, quarterly reports and developmental plans. Our oldest had a slight hip issue from birth and they've been incredible at following the physio plan set out to correct this and get her hitting all normal milestones for her age.

I am glad we chose The Weir Link Nursery for our children. The staff created a warm, welcoming atmosphere and made it a place that our children thoroughly enjoyed going to. They developed strong bonds with the staff, especially their key person, who is always very helpful and provides daily updates
at the end of the day. The variety of activities that the children engage in is great which helps enormously with their learning and development. Having food cooked onsite daily was also another plus point for us. Overall it has been a very happy experience for our family.

My niece has just started and I went to pick her up last week, they were aware that I was coming but still checked and asked me for my ID (thought this was really good practice), they asked for the ID and then the manager took me into the room, where the key person asked for a password and this robust
practice in the busy part of the day was very reassuring especially when you hear so many stories. When I walked in, the children were happily engaged and playing with resources. The teachers facilitated the children's play and the areas looked inviting. I have to say I have fallen in love with this place.

Couldn't be happier with your time at Weir Link Nursery. Our eldest has now moved on to primary school fully equipped for 'big school', but misses the amazing teachers at his old 'little school'. Our youngest is still there and having a whale of a time! Having been parents to children at the nursery
for the last 3 years, it has been amazing to see the positive changes made. It was excellent before, but keeps getting better and better. The care is first class, and I'd do it all over again if we could, and our boys certainly would too!

Weir Link Nursery is such a fantastic setting! My son has been attending Weir Link since he was a baby and he has become such a confident preschooler. I can't thank them enough for all they did and continue to do for him, especially as we joined the nursery during Covid times, the support was and still
is fantastic and the team goes beyond my expectations. I couldn't think of any other place for my child.

We have sent our children to three different nurseries in the area over the years, and Weir Link is our favorite. The warm, attentive staff are well-trained and relaxed, and develop strong bonds with the children. Management deserves a lot of credit for avoiding the type of high turnover you typically
see at nurseries; senior staff have been there for a long time and seem to work well together. The nursery rooms are stimulating without being overwhelming or chaotic. The children learn skills (e.g. early literacy in the big kid room) and have a large choice of activities, with variety from day to day. It’s like a big family!

My 19-month-old son just started the settling-in stage. He has never been away from me or outside of my support network so I knew the separation anxiety would be major! Every single person, not just from the baby room, the manager included went above and beyond to make both my son and I feel comfortable.
It’s literally a home-from-home! So much care, compassion and genuine love for the children and I couldn’t be more grateful. My son on the third day of settling was ready to go! Happy, comfortable and confident to start his nursery journey!
I had to reduce a day due to financial limitations and everything was sorted within hours, no pressure or stress for the inconvenience, just truly amazing! They were more concerned about how they could help and ensure I enjoyed and was 100% relaxed during the settling-in stage.
A wonderful experience for a mother who’s never done this before but now feels super comfortable and excited for Weir Link to care for my child! Thank you!

My son started and I have never felt so reassured. My son’s key worker is always so upbeat and puts my mind at ease. I am so happy I chose this nursery for my son. There were times I felt anxious because my son was very clingy. The staff did not mind me calling up to check how he was, they never made
me feel like a burden.

Very friendly staff and a great experience for the children - they love going to nursery every day. They take them on school trips and have a varied curriculum. They hold events for the kids to come in and do things with their children which is such a lovely idea.

I am very happy with my son’s nursery experience so far. Weir Link has a great range of activities for the babies and focuses on particular areas of development for each child. I appreciate the daily updates on my son’s activities and mood. The nursery also has a large outdoor space for the babies to
explore and play in every day as well as an on-site chef who cooks lovely, healthy meals which has improved my son’s eating dramatically!

Such a lovely nursery. Our boy has been going for nearly 2 years and has really sweet connections with all the staff and some lovely friendships. It feels like a homely small nursery with a family vibe about it. He always comes home buzzing from an active day of doing all sorts of things. We often get
comments about how talkative our boy is and how polite he is and that’s all from this nursery!

Both my kids are attending Weir Link, and my son is graduating after almost 4 years. I have never for a second doubted my choice of nursery.
Great general teaching programme, exposure to multiple inspirations (my preferred was art), and individual approach when required - all make a great mix and inspire

My experience with Weir Link started four years ago. I now have a boy about to leave to reception and a toddler girl still there for another two years. I could not have hoped for a better place for my little ones to evolve, start learning, and build their first relationships.

My children absolutely love nursery, the staff are all so warm, friendly and have the children’s best interests at heart. I feel fully confident when I drop them off that they will be cared for as well as I could ever hope for, and they will have a great day!
The manager arranges so many fun activities
for the children and the parents, we have had multiple activities to get involved with the children at the nursery. I really couldn’t recommend it more!
