Monkey Puzzle Hartley Wintney provides high quality facilities for children aged from three months through to pre-school age and is registered with Ofsted.

It has rooms specifically designed for each age range, which reflects the seven areas of learning as prescribed in the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Healthy and freshly prepared breakfast, lunch, tea, snacks and drinks are included within fees. Daily menus are carefully selected by a professional nutritionist to meet the energy requirements of growing children, and the nursery offers branded nappies, wipes and creams as part of its fees.

The nursery has three large separate play areas. Babies have their own dedicated outside space with impact absorbing safety surface and natural play area, and Toddlers and Preschool share two areas; a large impact absorbing safety surfacing with climbing equipment and roadway, and a new natural learning environment.

Monkey Puzzle is hands down the best nursery (believe me my son is 3 and this is his 3rd nursery)
The nursery: (speaking of the toddler room and preschool room from experience only) both are spacious and have a lot to offer fun wise and educational.
The garden is amazing! One thing I especially love
is they have a separate forest/nature section which is fantastic!
Development: My son has absolutely thrived in this nursery and continues to thrive, They have a sign of the week in Makaton, which my son has soaked up! Toilet training, imagination, creative play, variety of food, and a whole lot more!
The staff: They are also friendly, and you can clearly see each one really cares and loves the children! They hold a listening ear to parents' expectations, concerns and achievements.
Plenty have gone way above and beyond for us both.
A lot of love and thought had gone into building Monkey Puzzle. This nursery has really brought out the best in my son, I just wish I found them sooner!

Monkey Puzzle is a fantastic Nursery. All the staff are all so kind, loving, caring and patient. My daughter started in the baby room and is now in the toddler room. She is happy everyday, confident and talks about all the children and staff at home. There is no better place I would feel more comfortable
than this place to leave my precious daughter. The staff are wonderful!

Our son(15 months) enjoys the nursery and the friendly staff. He's so happy at the handover. It's so lovely to see him smiling every morning. This was his second nursery after a poor Ofsted report at his previous nursery. The staff have been so helpful. We now feel so confident he is in the right, safe

Our daughter has been attending the nursery since she was 1, she is now three and a half. We have seen her personality blossom and her confidence grow under their expert care. She loves her time there and has bonded with all the staff. We love hearing about her day, which is always filled with fun outdoors,

Our 3 daughters went to the Monkey Puzzle from babies right through to school. They absolutely loved their time at nursery and we were very happy with the level of care they received along with all the wonderful activities they were able to take part in every day. My youngest daughter is still asking
when she can go back to nursery 7 months after starting school.

When I was searching for a nursery for my son, Monkey Puzzle was recommended to me.
The staff at Monkey Puzzle are incredible. Very warm, friendly and always willing to support in any way they can. When my son first started, he was anxious to leave me, but every member of staff made the effort to get
to know him as an individual and his confidence grew. They have taken his needs into consideration and put strategies and resources in place to support him, and he has come on leaps and bounds socially and developmentally, thanks to their hard work.
My son loves the variety of activities they have to offer and loves playing outside in their new garden area. He enjoys showing me the things he has painted or made when I pick him up and always tells me how much he enjoyed his lunch.
I highly recommend having a look at Monkey Puzzle for your child, as I couldn’t be more grateful for my son's experience there, and it makes me happy knowing he is happy.

My child has thrived in the 2 years they have been at the nursery to date.
They always come home happy and with so many stories about their day.
The activities they are involved in daily are vast and very educational, interactive, interesting and enjoyable.
The outside areas are lovely and my child
has always lovely playing out there.
The food served and varied meal plans look amazing and my child always eats them all, which is a great testament to the food provided.
The manager has been so supportive with my return to work and job unpredictability in the months preceding it which has taken so much stress out of the situation.
I would 100% recommend this nursery to any parent.

Monkey Puzzle has done wonders for my little one in the few months he has been there
His confidence has grown visibly, in socializing, his language development and gross motor skills.
He loves going and is extremely close to a number of the staff, he clearly views it as a home-from-home.
Communication
from the nursery is excellent through their app, it’s always easy to get a response from someone.
Finally, the enthusiasm of the staff is amazing, they clearly are invested in their roles and in the children and are happy to give a detailed handover at every pick-up.

Our son (10 months) has been at Monkey Puzzle Hartley Wintney since January for a full 5-days a week. I was incredibly anxious about leaving my baby for such a long time after being with him every day for the first 10 months of his life. But to say that he loves nursery is an understatement: he is so

Very happy with Monkey Puzzle in Hartley Wintney. All the staff are very friendly and focused on the care and development of our child. The best element to Monkey Puzzle in Hartley Wintney are the staff. There's nothing more reassuring when you drop your child off that they smile/laugh and walk into
the arms of the Monkey Puzzle team! The team provide regular updates during the day with videos and photos. Great that they organise themed days that offer something varied for the kids and are a bit of fun.

My son’s been attending for over a year now in the baby room. He started at 8-months-old, and he really enjoys it.
He brings home lots of artwork, eg he just bought home an impressive painting of fireworks for firework night.
He has several food allergies, but the nursery has always accommodated
this, still serving a variety of healthy food.
The staff are lovely, and my son gets on well with them. They update the app so I can see what he’s doing while I’m at work. They also upload pictures and videos periodically, which is nice.
It’s so good that I recommended it to my group, and now half the group have toddlers there!

Ever since we booked in for a show around back in May 2019 we haven't looked back.
Our daughter started in September 2019, since day 1 she has been as happy as can be.
The care and attention she receives is amazing. Her learning and development is actively supported and tracked against the latest
early years criteria.
No two days are the same, the only thing that is the same every day is that she comes home with the biggest smile.
All her nutritional needs are catered for also.
We feel incredibly lucky that we found Monkey Puzzle and unless something drastic changes, our daughter will be with the team here until she starts school.

An excellent nursery, all staff are friendly, helpful and extremely informative, making my daughter's day enjoyable with all the different activities and interactions Monkey Puzzle has to offer.

My son has only been at the nursery for 4 weeks but has settled in well. The staff are all so lovely! I couldn’t have asked for nicer staff to be looking after my son. They send regular updates during the day and always give a thorough handover.
The setting is very modern and they are taking all infection
control measures to protect everyone.
Highly recommend this setting.

We could not be happier to have chosen Monkey Puzzle for our son. The team are exceptional and tailor the care to each child's needs. Like every parent, we were nervous about making the right choice when it came to his care, but since he started we have never looked back. From video and photo updates

Nursery Owner and Designated Safeguard Lead - Level 3.

Since volunteering at a local nursery helping children for whom English was not their first language, I have had a strong desire to work with children. After the birth of my eldest son Chester, I realised I really did not want to return to the daily grind of commuting to London, not really knowing who was looking after him, and decided the only way forward was to start a nursery business that offers the opportunity to be actively involved in his day to daycare, and an exciting change of career whilst using my existing skills gained throughout my employment.

I hold an LLB (Hons) Law degree and PGDip in Legal Practice and have worked in various roles in law, finance and compliance.

As a mum, I will ensure that the nursery runs to the highest of standards so that all children benefit from the same level of care as I would expect for my own. I want my nursery to feel like a second home to the children (it is my second home too, after all!), where they feel comfortable, safe and secure, whilst benefiting from a stimulating learning environment.

As Cherry’s business partner and co-owner of Monkey Puzzle Hartley Wintney, my role is that of Director of Finance, preparing the monthly payroll and maintain the business accounts. When I am called upon I will roll up my sleeves and do the cleaning, the cooking, provide lunch cover support, decorate, and I have been known to do some gardening.

I have 3 beautiful and talented daughters and four terrific grandchildren, not to mention two delightful sons-in-law, all of whom I am extremely proud.

I started working as a Nursery Assistant in Hedgehogs Room then in October 2019, I was promoted to Room Leader. In October 2022, I was blessed with a little baby girl of my own, returning to work in October 2023 as Preschool Room Leader.

My choice of career was due to the arrival of my beautiful baby sister, who is 13 years younger than me.

Watching her grow, and teaching her new things, made my heart happy and I knew that teaching was the career for me. I now have my Level 3 in Childcare and Development as well as a Bachelors Degree in Education with the University of South Africa.

I enjoy spending time with my daughter and husband, going out with family and friends and my favourite hobby is swimming.

I also help out with recruitment & admin, assist the management team in the smooth running of the nursery, and make sure that the building, facilities, and toys are safe and in good working order.

Being a big kid at heart and having two young boys of my own, I love getting down to a child’s level, playing games and discovering with them. I enjoy being with the children on my breaks from my main roles, whether that be reading a story or finding out what games their curious minds have created.
